My brother is a resident here. Our whole family is so impressed with this facility. The management and the staff are so warm and caring. The residents are happy. My brother gets excellent care. The staff members are very attentive to his needs. He loves the social programs and the food is great. It feels like a happy home because it is.

Gig Harbor Court is so warm and inviting. It feels elegant and homelike. It's so special to see the residents THRIVE! There is always something fun going on in the Garden Room! The food is top notch! They even have Happy Hour!! The Care Team really understand my dad's needs and gives him individual attention and time! We are very pleased!!

A little over 5 years ago, an old friend had a stroke and we had to move him from Seattle to Gig Harbor so he could be near us for his needs. We opted for Gig Harbor Court and never regretted it. He had good food, weekly bed change and cleaning. Although some of this routine was disrupted at times by Covid, all still seemed to go well. Also, when he was beginning the dying process, the nurse, Rachel, was more than kind and on the situation for the duration of his life. We are happy to recommend G.H. Court for a place for living. The ED, Jennifer and the staff at Gig Harbor Court have been a blessing to my mother and family. No matter what comes up, they are always there to assist. The Life Enrichment Director, Christina goes above and beyond to make sure mom is always happy and participating. Thank you for all that you do to support our family .

Good day Gay ..... I am taking this time to make some positive comments about some of your staff. Josh Youst...... I want you to be aware of what a treasure he is amongst your staff. Most of them are very good, but he just stands out like a shining beacon. Ruth is my most beloved treasure and the way he treats her, takes care of her and understands her is above par. He is always, always, gracious, kind, and above all GENTLE with her. He takes time to explains things that she is confused about in a quiet and reassuring voice; he is patient with her slow moving and understanding and above all, he is genuinely interested in her care and health. Please go to any lengths to keep him if he ever wants to go elsewhere. He is just a pearl amoungst your staff. Please let him know how I feel about him and his care for Ruths even though I did send him a copy of this email, it would be good to have him hear it from you.. Thank you for all your care and professionalism during these difficult times as well..... Eric Peavy

Gig Harbor Court provided amazing respite care for my parents following a procedure which limited lifting for my father. The staff was super caring and kind with my 91 and 89 year old parents. While they were anxious to get home, they could not have been more happy with their stay at GHC. This is our third experience with this facility in the past 6 years and all have been super positive.

My dad moved into Gig Harbor Court in 2017 after relocating from CA. He was reasonably healthy for 88 at the time, and remains so, until the last few months. Until that final illness, Dad enjoys his time at Gig Harbor Court, and we, family members, always felt confident he was safe, comfortable, well-fed and happy. The staff at Gig Harbor Court always made an effort to connect with Dad and relate to him as an individual. When Dad got sick they were all there to visit and support him. Gig Harbor Court is at the top of the heap when it comes to caring. We're grateful for all they did for Dad.

Gig Harbor Court is a wonderful place to work! I have been at this community since July, 2013 and I look forward to coming to work each day to see our friendly, happy residents and our wonderful team who care for them. Our community is close and friendly. If I were moving my parents to retirement, this is exactly the place I would want for them. I can say honestly, after being on this community's administrative team for almost 8 years, Brookdale is a top notch senior community. They do the right thing everyday, seniors have fun and love the food, and the care given is excellent. They keep the apartments updated, and it is by far the best location, being next door to doctors, shopping, the library and restaurants. I do not work there anymore so this is a review from a former employee. Go in and take a look for yourself. It feels like home!
