This place looked to be a haven of calm and serenity.but I did see a few flaws in the courtyard rooms. The residents were apparently happy and ambulatory.. however all that glitters is not gold. Big John the maintenance man was very knowledgeable of his craft. I am planning to move to Brooksdale soon. Very soon. ⭐ ✋ I I believe this us a step forward for me and my family.. we shall see. The staff there is amazing. They take so good care of my mom. We were sad when mom had to be in a rehab. But the good news is she so much better and she gets to return back to Brookdale. Steve the director truly cares for his patience and staff. We are so blessed that we are able to have mom in a safe environment with people who cares.

My 102-year-old mother is still alive and well at Brookdale, thanks to the heroic efforts of Executive Director Steve Wickline and his incredible, caring staff during this terrible year. What they have accomplished is nothing short of a miracle. Without even the legal tools to enforce lockdown recommendations, they have nevertheless managed to keep their residents safe and secure and loved while COVID was raging everywhere else. Families were kept advised of the small handful of cases that did occur, and each case was promptly addressed to keep the facility safe. Theres too little space to recount the extra efforts and the many kindnesses shown to residents and their families who were always calling or showing up at the door with packages and supplies. Suffice it to say that residents and their families are beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel, and that light would have gone out permanently if not for what Brookdale has accomplished.

My mother had lived at Brookdale for over 4 years. Her care has always been good. But... since Steve, the Executive Director has been in, things have been GREAT! He and his staff are very caring people and want the best for the residents. My mother just passed away, I am so glad she was at Brookdale the care and comfort they gave her and family was amazing. I would recommend Brookdale to all.

Mom has been there twice Lou was great but through the changes in staff and mgmt- I must say the current ED Steve is the best decision Brookdale Fed Way has ever made - Receptionist Bing is amazing Dawn and Christina are great there are to many to mention - they have always followed through on every question or concerns- memory loss is hard on the resident but harder on the family that just doesnt understand. They go above and beyond to ease the frustrating circumstances- kitchen staff and caregivers are great especially Shannon . This year being the hardest I WOULD LIKE TO EXPRESS MY GRATITUDE TO KITCHEN STAFF AND ALL STAFF FOR THE BEAUTIFUL THANKSGIVING MEAL that was served mom was so happy and with not being able to see her well it made it a little easier so THANK YOU TO ALL AT BROOKDALE FEDERAL WAY SINCERELY KELLY GLEASON ( SUE GLEASON) ##285

Brookdale Federal Way is nothing fancy, and it is an older building, but truthfully, it is on the only one my mom could afford. Nevertheless, the people are very nice to work with. They have quite a few activities. They take them on trips, they go shopping, and they do doctors' appointments. Their activities would certainly be enough to keep my mom busy. My mother is getting a studio, which is right outside of a beautiful shaded tree. They're putting brand-new floors in for her. The hallways are extremely wide. The temperatures are very comfortable there. They seem to have quite a variety for their menu. The person who assisted me was wonderful. She has gone out of her way to communicate and to keep in touch. I really like the staff. The people are absolutely fabulous. They do your laundry. And they don't just do the sheets and the blankets, they do your day to day clothes too. It is such a huge burden off my shoulders. That's one thing that really appealed to me.

My Dad is a new resident (2 weeks) at Brookdale. So far, so good. The residents are friendly, the place is clean, I feel the staff is competent. I can not say enough good things about one particular staff member named CARLOS. This guy makes all the residents happy with his bright cheery demeanor. It was Carlos' positive attitude that prompted me to write this. Brookdale is lucky to have such a ray of sunshine, give this kid a raise!

I did visit Emeritus at Federal Way, and its a very nice community. Its very clean and well maintained. Their apartments are very nice and very big as well. Overall, the atmosphere is very nice.

We enjoyed looking at the cottages at Brookdale Federal Way because they are very nice. The grounds were nice too. The staff was very accommodating during our visit. We had lunch there, and the food, as well as their service, was very nice.
