Very good place. Moved my dad in couple of months ago. They have been very friendly, caring and responsive to his needs. Have addressed any issues that have come up promptly. Jennifer has done a wonderful job in creating a supportive atmosphere here.

Would not put a gerbil in the memory care. My mom had to be hospitalized and lost all core functions after being severely dehydrated. Before it was just her memory that had been lost. Now she no longer walks or is able to feed herself. Untrained and under staffed.

My father is a very special person in our family and we wanted to make sure we found the best situation for him. We looked at every facility that offered memory care in the Whatcom County area. There were 6 and a few offered assisted living and memory care. Spring Creek was an easy decision. My father is actually enthused to be moving in after having dinner here last night. Its clean, the food is excellent and you can tell its well run under their Executive Director, Jennifer. I hope this review helps in your own search.

I recently helped a resident at Spring Creek sell their nearby home. My client was very happy in their Spring Creek apartment and they enjoy hosting meetings and teas there. I have been very impressed with how much of a connection the staff seems to have with the residents. I'm sure I don't see everything, but for what I do see, the vibe is positive, it's light, bright, clean, and filled with smiling faces.

Please scroll down and realize that most all of the one star reviews are from at least two years ago. Many are from four, five, nine years ago. SO, here's where things are TODAY.-- my parents moved here a few weeks back. We looked at other places in Bellingham, many of which seemed fine. We were initially daunted by the google reviews of this place until we looked at the actual dates of the poor ones. Spring Creek is actually special and exceptional. A new and incredible Executive Director came on board this year and has brought fantastic leadership and attention to detail and staff training. The place is cozy and warm, both literally and figuratively. The private living and common spaces are all well-cared for...the staff is well-trained, compassionate and attentive. There are tons of activities. It's basically like an awesome college with senior citizens--social, yet private. Plenty to engage in but plenty of independent freedom, for those who need less assistance. My parents' experience has been fantastic. One simple call to the front desk and the friendly maintenance guy will show up; in our case, he helped to put the feet on the couch that had been unscrewed during the move. The activities' directors take a personal interest in every member of the community. My siblings and I are so grateful to have found Spring Creek. We legit feel that our parents are already thriving in ways they were not in their own home. Vibrant community, great facilities, amazing staff. What more could you want for your loved elders?

My loved one has been very happy here. It is a beautiful facility that is well cared for. The apartments are more roomy than you will find elsewhere and the costs are similar. Though my loved one had some medication problems in the past, they have now been resolved. She is very happy and feels that she is cared for in a personal way by well trained and friendly staff.

Excellent! I’ve been living here at Spring Creek for 17 months & I feel at home. Our ED Jennifer Graham is wonderful. We have a new chef, whom we love. Lots of activities, apartments are large with air conditioning & large closets. It’s a beautiful & welcoming community. Come visit us soon.

My grandpa has been living here for about 5 months now and nothing but good to say about spring creek. Staff is always super friendly, especially Taffy up front!

Spring Creek is absolutely understaffed, especially at night. If you need assistance in getting up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, be prepared to wait wait wait or to completely go without. They have around 160 rooms and perhaps 1 or 2 nighttime aides to juggle everybody's nighttime needs.

Myan and other staff and residents were very welcoming for our tour and lunch. This is a beautiful community with many amenities for an active and interesting retirement life.

My mother lives here and the building is nice but the service is unacceptable. Many days they cannot help her get dressed or clean her room as there are not enough hired attendants to help. They do not even begin to consider her dietary needs being a diabetic. The care is overall very unfortunate We are moving her.

Our grandmother has been there at all levels of care including memory, for the most part the staff is friendly and they are responsive to concerns. However, there has been some staff that is concerning one in particular is Yvette the RN in memory care, she is so rude an incompassionate towards family it’s quite concerning how she must treat the residents. They have been neglectful in cleaning and doing things they insist on being payed for like cleaning dentures properly and even when you up your care plan they still don’t do these things. The current unit director McKenzey is very sweet and caring so I hope she stays on board. All in all it’s a decent place but they should monitor the staff and their jobs better.

My mother has been in the memory care at Spring Creek for more than a year. The excellent manager, Peg, with her hands on approach, has created an environment where my mother is thriving. She has hired an excellent staff of caregivers who seem to really care about the residents. The activity director is a gift to the residents. Kourtney is warm, happy and she engages the community in memory care with many different activities throughout each day. I am forever grateful to this facility.

We looked at a couple of communities for my mother awhile back throughout Washington and we looked at a couple of Bonaventure communities. We had heard great things and well, they did not disappoint. The staff are very professional and knowledgeable. Thank you for the information.

WOW is all I can say! This location is far the best we have seen and we have our uncle living there a week now and he is doing so much better. He was stuck in his home and we finally had to jump in and be the bad guys. Well is was mad for a few days and now he is involved in everything that is going on. We call his room and he is not there because he is having coffee with the guys in the lobby. He loves playing pool there and we are now seeing a new uncle and the person that we enjoyed so much growing up. Recommend this place to anyone but if they are not wanting to move. I recommend sitting down with the people there. They were able to help and overall we made the call that was for the best by moving him and I have to say it was the right decision. Thank you team at Spring Creek

Absolutely beautiful community in a great location. My family member can walk to shopping and the community has great walking paths. I was amazed with the staff and how great they were. My mom is relocating to this state and she can't wait to move to this community. I looked at every community in the area and the ones in Ferndale and nothing came close to how beautiful this community was. The apartments are perfect and they have full kitchens so my mom can still cook if she likes. My mom will be moving soon and the staff have made sure that she is already connected with other people that live there. I recommend this place to anyone. I have seen them all and this is #1 in the area.
