We moved my father to The Residence at Quarry Hill in January 2024. After researching and visiting many facilities, we felt this was the best place for him. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a smile. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The facility is clean and well organized. They treat each resident with respect and dignity. The dining room is absolutely beautiful and the wait staff are great. The nursing staff headed by Sienna and Kala ensure that each resident is provided exceptional care. The Director, Lydia and Human Resource Manager, Seth ensure that the facility is run efficiently. If you are looking for assisted living facility and or memory care for your loved one, look no further, this is the place for you.

The Residence at Quarry Hill has been a true blessing for our family. When both of our parents moved in and our mother was entering the final stage of her life, the staff here became our saving grace. They helped us navigate that emotional time with such compassion and care”it’s hard to put into words how much that meant. Thanks to their attention and support, our mother’s final days were peaceful and dignified. We were able to just be present with her, free from the stress of managing her care. Now, with just our dad living there, we have such peace of mind knowing he is in incredible hands. He’s had some health issues recently, and the staff has responded immediately and thoughtfully every time. He is truly seen there”not just medically, but as a person. He tells everyone he meets how grateful he is to live at Quarry Hill because of the wonderful amenities and, most of all, the amazing people who care for him. I want to particularly point out how caring and wonderful I have found the nursing staff. This is uncharted territory for me. Both Sienna and Kayla have helped not only my mother but me. Connecting me with additional help for my mother. Keeping me informed on any concerning changes with my mom. I cannot say enough.

In 2024 The Residence at Quarry Hill became my father's new home away from home. We quickly discovered a wonderful sense of community there. His new accommodations in Reflections Memory Care were bright, clean and comfortable. My father, and our family, were treated with respect, kindness and compassion from the moment he arrived. His caregivers became like a second family to all of us. They were genuinely interested in getting to know him as a person and were always patient and kind. They kept us well informed with an open line of communication and were attentive to his changing needs and requests from medical providers. We quickly grew to appreciate the close proximity of his providers, the hospital, as well as the courtesy transport shuttle, that delivered him safely and in a timely manner to his appointments. It was always a pleasure to see the smile on his face when he returned and was greeted enthusiastically by staff. It reassured us that he was in the right place - where he was safe, well cared for and with people who always had his best interests at heart. We're so very grateful for the opportunity and the time that he had to be part of this special community.

I brought my DAD to The Residence at Quarry Hill 4 days ago and I have to say this place is amazing! The administration’s attention to detail is beyond compare and I’m so glad I chose them to handle my DAD’s last years. He’s a level 1 care resident and the staff take outstanding care of him. They are all sticklers for perfection in their caring and I can’t thank them enough for that! When he told me he really likes his new home, I felt the weight on my shoulders disappear. The dining room and employees are respectful and a smile is always present. I live 5 minutes away so I can visit as often as I want to and I will do that a lot. The Residence at Quarry Hill is a splendid place to put loved ones in and harmony will be enjoyed by all!!

Accommodating. Big-hearted. Compassionate. Dedicated. Exceptional. Fun. Genuine. HOME. Our parents were cared for by the knowledgeable staff at The Residence at Quarry Hill for over 6 years. The majority of their time was spent in the memory care unit. We will be forever grateful to everyone who helped to make this their final home. The facility is safe, bright, clean and well maintained. The close association with the UVM Medical Center and ultimately UVM Home Health and Hospice cannot be understated. But ultimately it is the people who interacted with our Mom and Dad on a daily basis, week in and week out, who are the true heroes. They are extremely professional but they also manage to sincerely care. During our mother's final days, several staff members came in on their days off to wish her a fond farewell. A very special thank you to the extraordinary team in the Reflections unit. You touched our mother's heart.

My mom spent a month as a respite stay resident at this beautiful facility. She was treated with kindness and had plenty of attention. Leaving was a difficult decision. She will gladly go back if and when her life circumstances change.

My mother moved to the Residence at Quarry Hill in 2021 at age 91. She was in independent living until June, 2024 when she transitioned to Assisted Living. She loved QH. She was engaged in the activities, made many friends, and loved the staff. When she began to decline, we were so relieved and impressed by the quality of care. My mother died at QH. The staff was compassionate and professional. I will be forever grateful to all of them.

My brother’s needs are well understood at QH. When it is time for a team review it is easily scheduled with ample staff participation. I am repeatedly impressed with how consistently we are on the same page with questions, answers, and shared perspective on his needs and presentation. It was an easy process to assess the appropriateness and timing of moving him into memory care after 3 years of residence and recognizing the changes that prompted this decision. There is enormous comfort and confidence in the quality of this residential care placement.

We moved my father to the memory care program at Residences at Quarry Hill from Maple Ridge Memory Care. Best decision we made in his care. Quarry Hill’s care is far and away superior to Maple Ridge. He is clean, his apartment is beautiful & very well kept. The staff cater to his unique needs & communication is wonderful. He will uses all the amenities & the community activities are top notch. We are grateful to find Quarry Hill after a horrendous experience at Maple Ridge. This is a photo of my father returning to memory care after a work out & meal in the bistro.

I had the opportunity to visit a friend who was living at Quarry Hill a few years ago, and was very impressed with the residence. When it came time for me to look at places to live I decided Quarry Hill would be the best fit. I love living here...the surroundings are beautiful, the apartments are a nice size, and the staff is caring and helpful. In addition, I've made some wonderful friends while here. There are also ample opportunities to engage in meaningful activities, such as the book club, exercise programs, etc.

The Reflections Memory Care neighborhood has been a game changer for my mother. She was an assisted living resident at Quarry Hill for 2 years and both of us were happy with the staff, from the caregivers to the front desk to the dining room. Because of recent changes in her medical condition, the dedicated Quarry Hill nurses thankfully suggested that she might benefit from a move to Reflections. She is much more comfortable in the smaller space, is actively participating in activities and is eating better. A big thank you to the Director, the nurse and attentive staff in the Reflections unit .

Not at the outset. That was fine. But now, access to our loved ones should be returned to the original access. It is extremely difficult to be away from my husband for this length of time. I am allowed to volunteer at the McLure Miller Respite House which has patients who are dying, but I cannot go up to visit my husband in HIS ROOM away from anyone else. Very unhappy about this at this point.

The trip from Florida to Burlington was made as easily as possible.,except for all the papers and boxes we put in the hallway. Everyone on staff was helpful and happy. We had lunch and I must say the food is delicious. Now all we have to do is get adjusted to having people doing things for us.

Wonderful facility that is more like a hotel than assisted living. The team of people working at Quarry Hill is the true signature. The people are remarkable, attentive, and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of the residents. Our Mother is one of the founding residents and treated like royalty. We are very grateful for the new concepts that are incorporated into her living space and peaceful that she is happy and thriving.
