My mother recently moved here. The other residents have been very friendly, introducing themselves and talking at length about how happy they are to live here. The food is good. They have activities, planned outings, and the staff is very nice. So far she really likes it here.

Colonial Harbor is a wonderful special place! My mother has lived here for two years and it has been a life changing experience! The location is unmatched in the middle of the historic areas of Yorktown and Williamsburg which provides endless things to do. The facility is the perfect size and beautifully maintained. The management and maintenance staff led by Kathy and her team truly care about each resident and have created a family environment. Roxanne the activities director has unique weekly trips and endless creative events onsite with something for everyone. My mom plays inside bocce ball, goes to the hair salon, enjoys nightly movies, art & crafts and can’t wait for each trip and event. She is doing chair yoga for the first time ! She enjoys finding a place to read and relax in front of the fireplace, the library or gazebo. They recently had fun Mardi Gras and St Patrick’s Day parties where everyone joined in the dancing and signing including the chef! Mary the bus driver is the most amazing person I have ever met and genuinely cares about each resident. She makes everyday a fun adventure and is everywhere lending a hand! I recently thanked her for all she does for my mom and she said, “No thanks needed, she’s my friend.” My mom is living a great life and surrounded by friendship at Colonial Harbor!

This is a lovely lovely retirement community! My grandparents recently moved in and the whole staff was very friendly and their apartment is clean and comfortable. They have plenty to do to support and entertain the residents. Our family is very happy!

Amazing community. Great atmosphere. The staff, however, are truly an amazing and steadfast group of professionals, leaders and above all caring family members. The dedication and commitment to each and every resident, family member and each other absolutely surpasses the expectations of even the harshest critic. This incredible group of people have undoubtedly earned and are responsible for the happiness and heart felt trust rarely established in any community. They have, in only a few short months, become the unwavering foundation to which this happy and thriving community stands. Mike, Margie, Krystal, Sharon, Joe, Christine, Faye, Regina, Sean & Will, (just to name a few) my family and I would like to thank each of you for showing my Dad there is still so much happiness and life to experience.
