I did a tour of this place for possible placement of my mother. The common areas were very nice and inviting. The rooms were a very good size and had plenty of windows to let in the light. There were many areas where the residents families could come in and enjoy time together. My tour guide/salesperson was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I did not interact with much of the staff so I can't give much of a review on the staffs work with the residents. I can say everyone appeared calm and happy while I was visiting. I would definitely consider putting my mom here. Definately not an inexpensive option but on par with what other facilities like this are charging for memory care.

I recently took my husband to Tribute for a respite period of two months to give me a much needed break . From start to finish my experience was perfect . Everyone greeted me with a smile and was available right away for any concerns that I had . The hardworking caretakers were very attentive and patient with everyone in the memory ward . Everyone was greeted by name and it had a family feeling to it . I will miss all these amazing people ! It was a wonderful experience! Thank you Tribute! Linda Sarofim

Is it just me or does this place seem like it’s slowly going downhill since Mr.Brown left. He was always professional and available to families. Everytime I visit tribute now the new director is not available and her door is always closed. While I understand that new management will make changes my grandmother was extremely unhappy about the apparent changes made about the resident counsel. The atmosphere and the care staff seem unhappy and the care is slipping. My grandmother expressed that she is not happy about this new director Brittany and that she is not approachable and doesn’t seem to care at all about the residents. I am not hopeful for the future of tribute with this new leadership. I hope this changes or I will speak to my mom about removing my grandmother.

Probably the best senior care facility in Northern Virginia.
April 2024
I don't have a family member in their care, but from the visits we've had the facility was so clean with fresh air. All of the residents we interacted with were happy and spoke positive of the place. The staff greeted the residents by name and seemed to enjoy their work which isn't always the case with healthcare these days. They offer events for the residents and the community both. Most recently it was a model train show. Our group from preschool age to almost 80 enjoyed it. We look forward to more visits here in the future.

I took my grandson to a model train show that was hosted here. The staff was lovely & we met a few residents. I really like that this facility hosts events for the community.

My wife has been on the memory care floor since early November. The Tribute at the Glen staff made her transition from our home to the memory unit as smooth as possible and exceeded all our expectation. The staff took the time to meet with me and my daughters to address our questions and concerns. They willingly made changes taking into consideration the way my wife has done things for years. They never said that this is the way we do things, adjust to our way of doing things. They were very accomodating in helping to make my wife's adjustment to her new surroundings and home as accommodating as possible. I have been extremely happy with the memory care my wife has received.
February 2024
My mother has been a resident of Tribute at the Glen for over four years. She has vascular dementia and is in the memory care unit. The excellent care she continues to receive has given her a longer, more engaged life than her medical prognosis of three years. Her caregivers show kindness and patience and she responds well to them. There are engaging and uplifting programs for the residents, and many include the family members such as the Valentine's Day celebration this month. It was a phenomenal event with a swing band and singer; for the first time in a long time I heard my mother singing again. It continues to be a blessing to me and to my mother for her to reside at Tribute at the Glen.
February 2024
This community gives me so much peace of mind, from their genuine care for my dad, to the fantastic communication from the nurses, from the doctors who visit frequently, to all of the amazing events for the members and the families, I truly couldn’t ask for more. It was a really hard decision to move my dad from in-home care to a new place, and the Tribute has made all of us feel at home from day one. We are always greeted with big hugs and smiles. The kindness the pours out from every staff member is unmatched. I went from being paranoid and scared for my dad to having full confidence in his health, well-being and quality of life living at the Tribute. I’m forever grateful and would encourage anyone to have their family live here.

We struggled with the next step in our Mothers care after handling it on our own. Tribute at the Glen,Lake Ridge was our decision. We are so happy our mother is a resident. Peace of mind for all of us. Excellent care and attention provided to her health and well-being. Michelle is amazing in the functioning of Tribute. The entire staff is friendly and attentive. It's beautiful inside, very clean, food is great, activities are plentiful. Entertainment is regularly provided and varying forms. Our mother has made new friends. Best is ..we are "daughters" again. Free to visit any time. Free to take her out. Caregiving is now provided by professionals. We enjoy visiting there just for fun. Just to be together, only to focus on our mom..our family. It's wonderful relief. If something comes up, if any concerns, any emergency, it's rectified. The perfect place for our mom and our peace of mind with her care. She is thriving there. She loves living there. Highly recommend.

March 2023
I can’t say enough glowing things about Tribute at the Glen. My dad moved here in January and they have taken such good care of him and my mother. His experience in the memory care unit at Tribute over the last two months was just phenomenal. He received top notch, loving care from every person there. My mom did too. She came to see him as much as she could and the staff and admins not only knew her, they went out of their way to make sure she was happy with the care my father was receiving and they provided a compassionate listening ear whenever she needed to process her feelings. My dad died on Tuesday and I can’t think of a more loving environment for him to have died in. Less than 12 hours after he died, a big bouquet of flowers from Tribute were delivered to my mom’s house offering condolences. If you can’t keep your loved one at home in their later years, you really can’t ask for a better place to have them spend their remaining time. The elderly are treated with dignity and respect here. They are well loved and taken care of. I’m very happy to chat details with anyone considering this facility “ don’t hesitate to reach out. Picture here is of my dad and brother in a visiting area at Tribute - it was taken within the last couple weeks of my dad’s life. He actually seemed happier here than he did when he was at home with my mom.
December 2022
Tribute's staff is angels on Earth. The number of people that told me "they treat each resident as their mom or dad" was more than I expected. However to see that they are actually true to that is peace of mind. They also just did an amazing December to Remember that in our family brought all three generations together again. My family is eternally grateful to them.

As a partner in providing care for seniors in the community, this senior community without a doubt goes above and beyond to be an advocate for their residents. The team at Tribute at the Glen truly knows what it means to provide quality care. To top it off, community is beautiful and full of life!

We moved our mom into Tribute four months before the pandemic. It was a fairly rushed decision but my brother and I were comfortable after we conferred with the sales person. My plan was to move her out in a few months to be close to me (on the left coast). Tribute was managed by an Atlanta based company at the time and everything I read about it made me comfortable. And the care staff that I met in the initial weeks after move-in really impressed me. They have a certain calling to do this work. I'm sure they are fairly compensated, but the care they exhibited cannot be purchased. There seemed to be a fairly consistent churn in the management staff. The sales-person who impressed me so much was soon gone. But the care staff turnover seemed less than the management turnover. About a year after mom moved in, Tribute ownership changed to a Phoenix based company. I had no idea if this was positive or negative. The new Executive Director started to hold Zoom calls for all family members of the residents. I recognized that he truly has a heart for the residents. Mom had a stroke nearly a year ago, entered and graduated from Hospice while staying at Tribute. I tried but never found a senior living facility near me that compares to Tribute. Tribute and the care staff there has become home for mom. I'm glad my brother found Tribute in the hectic days over 2 years ago when we had to move her.

I just moved my 93 year older Aunt into Tribute at the Glen in Woodbridge, Virginia. . In just 24 hours, I have seen my Aunt more engaged and in better spirits then I have seen in a long while. The director, Martin Brown and his excellent staff work together like a well oiled machine. They really care about the residents in this community and are always available to assist My Aunt, as well as, my questions. The Food is excellent at Tribute at the Glenn, as well as, a welcoming atmosphere. I feel very happy knowing my Aunt is safe and so well taken care of there. if you have a loved one who needs Assisted Living - Tribute at the Glenn is the place for them to be.

The best of both worlds for seniors and their families at Tribute at The Glen. A beautiful community full of sunshine and wonderful amenities to engage any person who calls this community "home". Should you meet any of the Tribute team, be prepared to be impressed. Those with whom I've met, Kathleen, Sara, and the Executive Director, are compassionate, well-intentioned in their service to seniors, and professional beyond measure. Don't hesitate to explore this community as an option for yourself or a loved one.

I am a current resident and lived here since opening 2 years ago. Administration is exceedingly friendly and compassionate. In healthcare you need to have feelings toward the people you serve and they do. We have activities that stimulate and motivate you by mentally stimulate your mind. I really have enjoyed going places in the scheduled activities and doing such fun things. I asked to go to the Russian ballet and they made it happen. Nobody has the cultural exposure in activities like their Activity Director Meagan. I've done things here that I never dreamed I could. Every day is a fun, new experience. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous and spacious. It's like living at a fancy hotel but with people that care so much about you. There's vibrancy everywhere. Everyone knows you by name. Whenever I need something fixed, they do it immediately. When I push my pendant, they come right away.
January 2019
Good things about this place: -pricing: around 6000 a month for everything including rent, meals, and care. The resident gets everything for a flat rate instead of being charged a la carte for services that could easily make the total cost above $8000 at other places -facility: the facility is a little over 2 years old, the rooms are large, and the building has lots of natural light -good for handicapped people: the building is built in such a way that it is especially accessible for handicapped people, unlike many other places -care level: response times are typically pretty good (about 8 minutes) when a resident pushes their pendant to summon a staff member. Bad things: -medication management: they COULD NOT be consistent about giving my dad his medication ON TIME. By on time I mean within 5 minutes of the dosage time specified by his doctor, NOT within the "hour or so" medication window that is stipulated by the state of Virginia's assisted living facility standards. They would be over 30 minutes late to giving medication an average of once per week. They stayed within the timing standard set by the state, but unfortunately that is not good enough for many people including my dad. They also did not change his medication schedule even after his doctor sent multiple notes to the nursing staff to change his medication time slightly. Either 1) they don't care enough to follow-up with external doctors or 2) they DID get the notice from his doctor and didn't change his medication timing anyway. I'm not sure which is worse. Also, I called the nursing staff no less than 5 times over 3 weeks and left multiple messages and they called me back ONCE after my last message. I called about the medication problem and they were very, very good at avoiding my phone calls. -care level: they will tell you that your loved one will get some kind of "personalized care plan" but this is a very generous description of what they're offering. If a resident pushes their pendant, a staff member will come help them with what they need. Beyond that, the resident is on their own. So if your loved one forgets to ask for something or can't articulate their needs very well, this system will not work for them. The resident doesn't pay for "hours of care" like some other places which is good, but the level of care they actually receive isn't great either. -food: the food is very average here. In summary, it's a good place if your loved-one is fairly self-sufficient (doesn't require lots of involved staff time) and does NOT require super precise medication times. Also, good luck getting regular contact with the nursing staff. We are looking for a new place.
December 2018
It started out great, the facilities are fantastic, the staff has gone down hill, leaving my mother in urine soaked clothes all day, once they left her in the lobby for an hour. We called for 40 min and no one answered. We had to drive over and when we found someone they said the phone was dead, she then got rude and walked into the office and closed the door. This level of care is not worth the fee, We have brought these issues up with the Managment but nothing has changed, we are looking for another place.
October 2018
My parents spent a wonderful 6 months at Tribute at the Glen prior to needing more care than assisted living could provide. Administration and staff are fabulous and engaging ... helpful at every turn. Plenty of great companionship with other residents my folks really enjoyed their time there. Great food too! Wish they could have stayed longer.
