Brookdale at Home helped immensely in my mom's transition to Brookdale Chambrel. Once we made contact with Stephanie the Director, and started med reminders and aide services, life became much better. Louisa the home health aide is exceptional and truly cares about the residents. I want to share our experience at Brookdale. My mother at 96 moved into an independent living apartment. It was roomy and had a wonderful balcony to enjoy the outdoors. She was able to connect easily with a group of other residents and had multiple options for activities and hobbies. She especially enjoyed volunteering in the wonderful library and crocheting blankets for soldiers. There were often special occasion luncheons and parties. Transportation for doctor appointments and shopping was available as well. She loved the food and enjoyed telling me her menu choices for the week. The absolute best thing about her experience there was the people who worked there. They were compassionate, caring and always had a smile and personal word with my mother and me since I visited often. She loved everything about her life there.

Brookdale Williamsburg is a great place to live for seniors. The staffs are engaging and friendly. The residents seems happy and satisfied living here. There are lots of activities one can choose to attend especially exercise classes for seniors. Anything wrong with the apartment is immediately corrected by maintenance and followed up by the front desk. The dining facility is elegant and the food menu offers different kind of food even for the picky eaters. The executive chef listens to suggestions and changes. The servers are tentative and remember your names and needs. The place is clean and well maintained by housekeeping. The ground is beautiful for walking around the buildings. The top management are new, so far so good! Just hope the rent won't go skyrocketed due to inflation.

As the Community Liaison for both Visiting Physicians and Grace Hospice, I would strongly recommend anyone to be in the market for themselves or a friend to tour Brookdale Williamsburg. Brookdale has a highly skilled and competent clinical staff as well as a friendly and caring activities coordinators. Brookdale is situated on many acres of wooded lands and allows residents to opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. The entire staff is friendly and promotes the highest of healthy living. Do not make a decision on your next home without scheduling a tour of Brookdale in Williamsburg!

Great facility, great staff. I have had dealing with this entity on several occasions and have always found the experience to be Top Notch. The location is close to Colonial Williamsburg, entertainment, markets, and emergency services. Keep up the good work.

Weve been with this Brookdale for 4.5 years and love it. On our tour we felt it was a down-to-earth environment with very nice facilities and and apartments, and a big seller for me was Personalized Living (PL). This is in-house care that we could request if needed, instead of hiring an outside nursing agency. We did use PL for over a year and now have transitioned to a higher level of care, but I still see the same staff faces and hear the same voices over the phone, indicating a favorable place to work. The staff not only know my loved one, but they know me and my family as well. I trust Brookdale Chambrel Williamsburg with the handling of the virus and know that they cant control everything but they are doing the best that they can. Thank you to all of the staff that we have come in contact with over the years and those we continue to see (pre-virus) HA!. You are all amazing people and we thank you!!!

I have been to Brookdale several times for various meetings. Each time, I am greeted with a smile by staff members at the entrance, and they make me feel welcomed. The building is very clean, and the grounds are well kept. This definitely seems like a place with a lot of care for its guests and I am sure for its residents. Well done!

The staff at Brookdale are friendly and helpful. The buildings and grounds are very well kept. The management team really cares about helping people in the Greater Williamsburg Community, especially seniors and those with a chronic illness or physical disability. Brookdale Williamsburg is a big supporter of Williamsburg Faith In Action and their support is very much appreciated.

Ive been to several events at Brookdale of Williamsburg this year. The staff and facility are top notch. Their newly added Alzheimers unit is laid out like a home with memory activities, amenities, a fireplace with a sitting room, a garden area and more. The staff are so professional and approachable. Brookdale offers an active and engaged retirement community, as well beautiful neighborhoods and facilities with caring and compassionate employees. The location is very convenient and in a lovely area. The facilities are pristine inside and out. The employees daily focus is apparent- they strive to make a positive impact in the lives of the residents as well as the larger community of Williamsburg. I have been very impressed by the dedication of the staff at Brookdale and highly recommend this retirement community.
