Absolutely fantastic clinical care provided by the Health and Wellness Director, Alisha Hoke. She leads her team with the devotion that she has for her community. All staff is friendly and works hard to make sure that people feel like they are home. Elle, Director of Dining Services is a delight. Wanda Amos, Activities Director, is always working hard to make sure that every day is fun and filled with activity. Grateful that I can trust them to take care of my mom.

My mother was a resident here for several years and I was pleased with the care she received. The facility was kept in good shape and if I had a concern the staff was always concerned and was on top of a solution. I will recommend.

The staff at Terra Bella are top notch! You will not find a more devoted and hard working director of health and wellness like Alisha Hoke. The residents are so well taken care of by the staff and kept happy and entertained by the amazing Activities Director, Wanda Amos- she keeps them busy! Terra Bella is an excellent choice for your loved ones. It is truly one of the best places in Roanoke for ALF and memory care.

My dad has been a resident for a month. So far he likes it very much, the staff are kind to him and the care is very good. The site is relatively small which allows him to see and get to know the staff and residents much easier than a larger facility. He also likes the food-yay!

My blind 84 year-old-mother who has been a widow 2 years had to leave her home and neighbors of almost 50 years. Pheasant Ridge has been wonderful, making sure Mom is making a smooth transition. They went out of their way for her and I am so grateful to them! Thank you so much!

I moved my mom into pheasant ridge senior living when my husband and i just couldnt manage her at home safely. We decided to tour pheasant ridge senior living as well as some other facilities in Roanoke. We were very impressed with the executive director, Ann Dunbar. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and a real problem solver. Mom was very happy at pheasant ridge and my husband and i felt she was in a safe environment. When we were informed a new executive director would be taking over as Ann had been promoted, we had high hopes. Mom began to call us with more complaints and my husband and i began to have more concerns. We were used to Ann being so available and approachable, we assumed the same from the new executive director and department managers; we were wrong. No one was to be found after 4pm and most all of our calls were never returned; there were many issues needing to be addressed however our concerns went unheard. We strongly considered moving mom out and were touring other facilities again, until we saw Ann and were informed she would be back in charge. My husband, my mom, and myself understand theres a lot of changes to be made to get things back however, we couldnt think of anyone better to get things back on track. If you want an executive director who is strong, knowledgeable, kind hearted and trustworthy; someone you can really talk too and who really cares about your loved one, i urge you to consider pheasant ridge senior living and Ann Dunbar.

My four brothers and I chose Pheasant Ridge above all others in the area in 2014 for my mother. All brothers agree that she was well cared for. We all stopped by at all hours of the day, maybe have a meal off the residents menu and everything thing was great. My father also chose PR when he moved back from Florida with his dog. Our family has been well pleased with Pheasant Ridge.

Visited to inquire about placing my Mom. Spoke with Jamise Hardy, who answered all of our questions and provided a tour of the facility. Ms. Hardy was exceptionally friendly and professional. As we toured the facility, she knew the names of the residents we passed along the way and greeted them warmly. Everyone working there greeted us and made us feel welcome. Unfortunately, due to family issues, we were unable to relocate our mother from her current facility. However, we will remember Pheasant Ridge if we decide to move her in the future.
