Our dad has been a Mennowood resident for over a year. We can't say enough about the caring and kind care givers they are. He is in the memory care side of the community. They provide a great deal of stimulation physically and mentally. They create a family environment for the residents as well as care givers. They engage everyone in activities both inside and outside the building. Our dad loves to be outside in the courtyard or on a bus trip adventure. There is laughter and joy for my dad and all the residents. They encourage everyone to engage in things that make them happy, our dad loves to dance. From the time you go through the front door everyone has a smile and is beyond helpful. We are blessed to have moved our dad to Mennowood.

My wife was a resident of Comfort Cove for 22 months. Bringing her to Mennowood was among the smartest decisions I have made. The team there make miracles every day. They are not perfect but on the things that matter they never miss. My wife was happy there (the day before she passed she smiled), she also felt safe and secure. They have an activity schedule and they actually execute it. Surely there are things that get confused like who's clothes she was waring today but she was always clean, she looked good and she was well cared for -- always. Comfort Cove at Mennowood is a very special place because of the extraordinary people there who care for the residents. I am at peace because she is and that is in no small measure because of the quality of care she received while in Comfort Cove.

I find one slide in your TV commercial quite offensive! It depicts a resident and staff person playing patty cake . This is a game played by children, not senior citizens, irregardless of their mental status.

I was visiting today and the staff was so friendly. A Young man knelt by an elderly lady and spoke to her for a good fifteen minutes and the interaction just warned my heart!

We have been beyond happy with the care that my mom has received at Mennowood. She is happier than she has been in years! There are many activities that she can take part in, and it’s not such a large facility that she feels overwhelmed. It truly is home to her, and we are so thankful. It was a big transition, and the staff and residents helped make it feel like she was surrounded by her second family. She moved in just before the pandemic, so we are looking forward to the days when they can have even more activities for all of the families to enjoy. The staff has done an amazing job planning parades and socially distanced activities for the residents. We would highly recommend that you consider Mennowood for you or your loved ones.

Both of my parents live at the Mennowood - one in Assisted Living and one in the Memory unit. They get to see each other daily and our family visits often. Every members of the Mennowood team is an angel. No one ever says that is not my job- they all pitch in to make the residents safe and happy. During the Covid-19 virus restrictions they went out of their way to help. My parents love the food and all the great care. I would be glad to talk to other families about all the ways the staff has gone out of their way to be caring and professional. Thanks to the Mennowood team.

Mennowood Staff Our Mother was loved by her family, and she was blessed to have been loved by her second family here at Mennowood There can be no other group of professionals in the health care (Love) practice like those we were blessed to experience here. The warmth is felt from the moment we entered the door. The compassion we felt on phone calls, the loving care we saw and felt you gave our Mom every minute of her life while here with you. To say "Thank You seems So very inadequate a response, but at the same time when we say it to all of you with our heartfelt love it still makes our hearts feel warm. We will forever be grateful to the people of Mennowood whose hearts and souls were given to our Mom on a minute, hour and daily basis. My father was at Mennowood for 15 months until he passed recently. The staff at Mennowood and especially in the Memory Care Unit were phenomenal. I would highly recommend Mennowood for the care of any loved one.

We placed my mother at Mennowood Retirement Community 4 months ago. The staff did a very good job transitioning her into her new home. Everyone we've met is nice and seem to really care about all the residents. We have been very happy with everything about Mennowood. There are lots of activities, the food is good, the rooms are kept clean, everyone is very helpful and the nursing staff is great. We highly recommend Mennowood.
