Five stars is not enough for Great Falls Assisted Living Memory Care. The level of detail and care in every aspect of the resident's life and communication to family members is truly wonderful. It all comes from the top and there's no team more competent and engaged than Michelle, Jill and Lauri -- anywhere. This is the third home for my mom after the other two big name LoCo facilities failed in leadership, services and basic care. Every single person at GF is a gem. We are so grateful!

Lauri H, Director of the Artis Way Experience is an invaluable member of the team at Great Falls. My mom was very frightened when she returned from a Thanksgiving stay at our family home. Lauri actually greeted my Mom at our car with her wonderful smile and caring attitude. Lauri was able to put my mom at ease and assisted her with patience and kind support as mom transitioned back to her suite. Lauri treats all the residents and their families with warmth and kindness and she truly makes us feel part of the family at Great Falls.

The staff is cordial to its visitors, attentive and caring towards its residents, and professional in all aspects. A wonderful community. I had the pleasure of performing with my band (Radio Vinyl) for the residents and staff for the Walk to End Alzheimer's in October of this year. The residents were so engaged with the performance (and we even got some of the staff dancing). So great to have such a caring, high quality, complete memory care facility in our community!

Great falls staff did a phenomenal job for Halloween. Their Wizard of Oz theme was perfect for the age group. It was absolute delight to see the staff and the residence all enjoying themselves. From our very first meeting with Great Falls Assisted Living, our family knew this was a very special place with an innovative approach to memory care in a very home-like atmosphere. The residents and care associates are actively engaged with each other, whether pumpkin painting, singing, walking the beautiful gardens together, or having an experience with Chef in the kitchen. Here at Great Falls we witnessed daily compassion and love for their mission. Every step of the way from setting up Gma's room, to welcoming Gma to her new home, Great Falls was by our side. Their warm welcome for Gma even included a soft and pretty blanket, scripture book, and more. Together with their thoughtfulness in reserving the studio and providing drinks for the family's pizza party that Gma asked for on move-in day, and then whisking her right into the community to enjoy the music as we left, was more than we could have hoped for. I love great falls assisted living is THE BEST living facility I have been to thus far. The residents are all friends and like family to me. I am a singer who comes in to perform for the residents. Their kindness is really like no other. I ALWAYS FEEL WELCOMED. Now I have one word about the staff…PHENOMENAL!!!! Our loved one has been at this facility for 2 weeks now. She's adjusting nicely due to the friendliness and genuine kindness of the staff. First I want to thank all of the staff and care givers for the professional and thoughtful treatment given to my wife. When my children and I visited Great Falls it was evident that this was a special place. We left that day knowing that this facility was the right choice for Phyllis. I want to give a special shout out to Sani who works on the front desk. She is one of the most delightful persons I have ever met. I met Mehret about 10 years ago when I had my wife in GFAL for Alzheimer's She was the best nurse there by far. I new my wife would be well cared for when Mehret was on duty. She would always do whatever was required but she would also do the little things that made us spouses feel at ease. If my wife needed something in minor emergency, Mehret would come right away. She worked there because she really cared about all of the people under her care. If all the leaves on all the trees could talk, they couldn't begin to express how much she meant to us spouses We still invite her to our lunches and dinners because she is like family,!!

GFAL is a wonderful, caring community. My husband of 42 years has been a resident for the last six months and has received outstanding care and support. He has LB dementia and is quite aphasic and ALL staff are incredibly patient and committed to helping him make himself understood. He was diagnosed six years ago and the disease continues to progress and at GFAL he is treated as a whole person. There is a deep, authentic humanity in the ARTIS way and the way that staff are trained and interact with clients. We are very lucky to have found GFAL.

After six months living in a different local memory care facility, I decided I would look for a better fit for my husband. I found it at Great Falls Assisted Living. The entire design and concept of GFAL Is resident- centric, giving them freedom to move around, explore their environment both inside and outdoors. There is a lovely patio in the back where families and residents can visit and socialize. The atmosphere there is friendly, welcoming, supportive, and relaxed. The staff has been first rate. My husband's demeanor has improved dramatically and he is settling in comfortably. For the first time in a long time as his caregiver I am able to take a breath. we are very fortunate to have GFAL as a local resource in the mental care community.

Great Falls Assisted Living was a wonderful place for my father. First and foremost, the staff is extremely caring. They take time to know the residents to make sure they feel cared for and comfortable. The relatively small size of the facility helps residents and family not feel overwhelmed, and the smaller neighborhoods support a sense of community and give the facility more of a "homey" feel. I recommend GFAL without reservation.

If you’re making the very difficult decision about seeking memory care for your loved one, consider Great Falls. If your most sought feature is that it look like an elite hotel, look elsewhere. But if you are seeking a comfortable, home-like atmosphere with caring staff, good communication to families and physical and emotional comfort for your loved one, this may be the place. My husband is not the easiest to care for and can he difficult to please. No problem. They learned to approach him at his own pace and comfort level. He entered after a hospital and nursing home stay, unable to walk. They arranged some PT, encouraged him during the day, and after a few short weeks, he was happily walking around on his own. There are 4 small census wings, each with living room, dining room and private bedrooms so the new environment is not over-whelming. But also common outdoor areas, and group and activity areas. Your loved one is encouraged to participate, but if they choose to nap in a chair, explore outside (all secured) or walk around, that’s fine too. After 30 days, my expectations are exceeded, I’ve seen my husband smile for the first time in many months, and I can actually sleep at night.
