My brother was a resident in the memory care unit. We were happy with the care given by the regular staff. They sincerely wanted to ensure he was able to adjust and physically thrive. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case, and when he needed greater medical help he was taken to the ER. He died shortly thereafter and the staff were sympathetic and helpful as we cleared his belongings. We did have problems getting to speak with staff before and after he was there, leaving messages without callbacks etc. A billing error took months to resolve and so I would not have given 5 stars then-however the new billing and administration staff who came on board in the recent past were responsive and the bill was resolved quickly once they were involved . I think others will have a 100% good experience now from the very start.

CSL Hampton at Topping Lane has been a godsend to our family. My husband came in with serious physical and memory issues. CSL embraced him and took him into memory care with ease, efficiency and kindness. The management and staff have truly helped him recover to the point that we are moving him to more independent living in their Assisted Living facility. The caregivers on his unit are so compassionate, personable and friendly; always providing a smile or fun interaction. They also let my husband use their phone when he wants to make a call. All caregivers in the sweet memories unit are fabulous! Renee, the Ed, Daniela, the RCD, Shay, ARCD, and Rohan, the Bus Mgr have made this the best experience ever!!

My first impression is the entrance is full of BLOOMS and cheer. We were greeted with smiles and friendly salutations. The facility was bright, cheerful and the air was refreshing. My Aunt was happy to see me and her space was immaculate as always. Our visit was lovely and I am thankful for her time with your facility.

I recently toured Commonwealth Senior Living and I was incredibly impressed by the entire experience. From the moment I walked through the door, the atmosphere felt warm, inviting, and vibrant. The staff members we met were exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of our questions without making us feel rushed. You can tell they genuinely care about the residents. The community itself is beautiful, remarkably clean, and very well-maintained, with great common areas and a wonderful dining setup. Seeing how active and engaged the residents were during our visit was amazing. Commonwealth Senior Living is absolutely beautiful and I Highly recommend taking a tour if you are looking for a community that feels like home!

Devida, CNA & Keisha CNA gives good care. Both ladies give attentive care. Keisha is great using the Hoyer lift and transporting me from bed to wheelchair. I like Devida's help with clothing coordination. Devida is gentle and thorough with bathing & cleaning me up. Gayle Shephard under stands my body type concerns and fears and helps me to get comfortable with my personal care.

Husband has been in memory care for almost 3 years. Feel safe for him there. Only facility that I know of that keep men and woman separate. It is my understanding the residents are not bathed everyday even though they use the restroom multiple times a day The residents are bathed 2 x weekly. This is a huge concern for my aunt because she has memory loss and since she’s been a resident she has suffered a continuous UTI More staff is needed to provide better individual hygiene care

My grandfather in law lives here, and seems much happier than where he was living before. My mother in law seems much less stressed, and it seems like hygiene taking care of him has improved. He seems more active, and there is light in his room, and a view of birds. I'm a physician and when I initially read the reviews of this place I was worried, but the new management has done just a phenomenal job. They've also done a good job being firm with him about things that are dangerous for him (he has dementia). Laurnea is the tech who takes care of him, and she's always got a smile on her face despite what must be a large workload. Barbara helps him pick out his food (she brings the drinks), and she knows what everyone likes and doesn't like as if they are her family! I've also been told good things about Gale. But the best of all are Alma and Danine, who are able to finally get him to take his medications and get clean. Thanks for making the whole family's life better.

We moved our mom, Jeanette, in to her new apartment today and what a great experience! Alma was so helpful with our furniture move over the weekend and even came to get my mom to have lunch with the residents both Saturday and today. By lunch today, Mom had a whole new set of friends! Every one of them were so sweet and welcoming. The Director, Heather, could not have been more accommodating throughout the entire onboarding experience. My brothers and I all feel like we have made a wonderful decision in bringing our mom to Commonwealth in Hampton. She is really excited for her next chapter, thanks to the caring and professional staff at Commonwealth!

Commonwealth provides excellent care to our family member who is a resident there. The care that Commonwealth provides to our family member is superb. The health of our family member was going down very fast before coming to Commonwealth. Since being in the care of Commonwealth for the last year and a half the health of our family member has improved tremendously. Don't know what our family would have done without Commonwealth.

My father is living at Commonwealth in Hampton on Topping Lane. He moved in about 3 weeks ago. It was a difficult move for him because he had lived in his other place for many years. Commonwealth has really been there for him. The people there care for him like family! They go out of their way always showing kindness. The aides,med techs, techs, house keeping, food service, maintenance and front desk employees are all warm and welcoming!! It's the people that make the place!! We are very happy that we made this move for him. Update It has been 6 months now since my dad moved in. They have truly gotten to know him and have a personal plan for him. There are many special workers there that have meant so much. I'll name a few... Deneen, Elma, Mariah, and Tory.. I'll need to update this with some more!!! This place couldn't not run without these and other very dedicated employees!

The Commonwealth is a wonderful home for my loved one. The staff is patient, helpful, compassionate and truly cares about the residents. The facility smells good on a daily basis. The meals are both yummy and nutritional. Often the chef curtails the menu to the residents’ preferences. It was a wonderful choice!

I had occasion to recently visit this facility when I visited a resident with my daughter. When we entered the building, we were greeted by a friendly staff member at the front desk. I was impressed by nice decor and layout of the building and how clean it was.

The staff is very kind, empathetic, and helpful. On the other hand I'm struggling with the fact that my mother in law's medical team does not update the chart with the non necessary medicine my sister in law repeatedly asked to be removed. Not the fault of the on-site staff who works the kitchen, cleans the patients etc. They are fantastic. Hoping someone sees this review and makes the note.
