My husband and I just met with Brandon at Heritage Village. We were looking for an assisted living place near my son that we could tour. Brandon Allen was such an outstanding representative for Heritage Village. He was knowledgeable about every aspect of Long Term Care, and he took the time to explain it to us. Heritage Village seems to be an active, interesting assisted living facility. They have many activities going on every day. The facility was clean and the residents seemed active and happy. We got on a waiting list for an opening.

My mom has lived at Heritage Village for a little over 2 years, and we have overall loved the experience. Starting with the most important part, the staff is absolutely wonderful, and make the place a very caring environment for the residents. From those who work the front desk (John and Donne and others), to the activities team (Adina is an absolute super star! She truly cares about the residents and does everything she can to accommodate everyone!), to the maintenance crew (James and John who do a lot to keep everything up and running), to the staff in the dining room (Debbie who is so sweet), to all the CNA’s and nurses who have the toughest jobs of all, they all make the place a supportive environment to care for the residents. All the staff seem to work together very well. Brandon and Cori are also fantastic in getting residents setup in their new homes and accommodating the move in how they can. All of these team members are patient even with the toughest of the residents as well. My mom has been very ill recently, and the staff has gone above and beyond to not only care for her, but check in on her multiple times a day to make sure she was as comfortable as she could be (I witnessed this first hand as I went to visit my mom often, and can attest to the great care and respect she received). The CNA’s and nurses (Edith, Naddy and Muriel) were truly wonderful to her, and it gave me great comfort that she was cared for and looked after. The facility itself is beautiful, well kept and cleaned, and is a very comfortable environment to be in and live in. It has everything needed for the residents to have multiple places to go and visit during the day for the various activities and meals. I really can’t say enough good things about Heritage and the staff. I highly recommend Heritage Village for anyone looking to have an amazing environment and team look after a loved one.

My mother is a memory care resident at Heritage Village (HV), and we couldn't be happier with the care she receives. We moved her there from a facility in Lake Manassas, and she is thriving at HV. We shifted her medical care to the doctor for HV, and they are on property multiple times a week. She is a vegetarian and they easily accommodated her dietary wants. Alena, and the Activities folks there are incredible. I do more exercise there than anywhere else, and with a smile on my face can honestly say I've learned LOTS of trivia. The daily activities shift every 20-30 minutes, in my opinion to keep everyone involved. The staff are compassionate and calming. When I found their Facebook page I was pleasantly surprised by all the activities I didn't even know were going on there. I can't speak highly enough about Heritage Village. From the young man at the front door, to the aides, to the nurses, to Maxine that comes through with treats for staff, to housekeeping and maintenance, this is a well-oiled machine that cares about their residents.

My mom has been at Heritage for almost 2 years. The staff are incredible and they care about the residents. Every time I walk in at least 2 people stop me to give me an update on my mom before I enter her room. My mom is not an easy person and the staff have always treated her with such dignity and care. My mom is much happier as a result. My mom is not a very social person but the activities always look so fun and creative. I’ve always been impressed with how hard the staff works to get people out of their rooms and joining activities. There are also a lot of great beautiful spaces when visiting that I can bring my mom to get her out of her room, provide a change of scenery and offer a nice quiet place for us to visit. I can’t say enough great things about the caring staff, facilities and cleanliness.

My parents have lived at Heritage Village for over 2 years. While the entire staff there are kind and wonderful, the Activities Staff are truly exceptional. Every day, they bring such tremendous energy, care, and creativity to everything they do. They don't just plan activities, they create experiences that make residents feel engaged, valued and connected. They take time to learn their residents' interests and abilities, ensuring everyone feels connected. From themed events and holiday celebrations to daily exercise classes and art workshops, there is always something exciting happening. We all know the saying "it takes a village," and in my case, that village is Heritage Village. I am deeply grateful to the entire staff at this wonderful facility, especially Adina Cimpean, Director of Life Enrichment, and Dr. Muriel Sumovalt, Director of HealthCare Services. While I understand how challenging their work can be, the patience, dedication, and efficiency they provide in personalized care are exceptional. Their genuine concern, empathy, and kindness are extraordinary. I could write pages about how incredible Heritage Village has been for my family and me during my father's transition from living independently to assisted living. Instead, I’ll share a short story that I believe speaks volumes. Not long after my father’s arrival at Heritage Village, I took him out for the evening and ended up keeping him away longer than expected. Someone from the facility called to check on him, and he overheard the conversation. My father became upset, feeling that by tracking his movements, he was being treated like a child. Although I tried to explain that everyone had his best interests at heart, he wasn’t convinced. Then, just a few weeks later, a similar situation occurred, and staff member Christiana called to confirm that my dad was with me. When he overheard the call, he asked me to confirm that it was Heritage Village checking on him. I did, and I was prepared for his previous reaction. To my surprise, he said, "It's nice that they care about me." This shift in his attitude is a testament to the exceptional care at Heritage Village. If they could win over my father, they can win over anyone.

Heritage Village has made the challenging process of exploring options for my family member, extremely easy. I looked at all the options in our area and found Heritage Village to be them most suited for our needs. Not knowing any better, I was expecting a sales like push from them. What I experienced was a caring staff that truly had our best interested at heart! Who really does that today? I focused a lot of attention on how the residents and staff interacted and how the staff interacted with each other. They were warm, sincere, and kind with one another. The residence were very familiar with the staff and joked around. The staff seemed to be there more from a sense of calling than a job mentality. That’s a big deal when giving someone the responsible to care for a family member. The facility speaks for its self when it comes to the look and feel. It smells like a clean home and not a faux hospital. The dinning room smells really good at lunch time. The noise level was perfect for someone w a hearing impairment. The place is really beautiful and you will see that from their informative website and a personal visit. I recommend visiting twice. The fist visit to get a general perspective and then go back during a meal time and sit in one of the living room areas and just watch. If you are looking for a truly beautiful and caring place, that is affordable, schedule a visit. I think you will be impressed by the we are here for you attitude and you may just feel like you are at your new home. I can’t recommend Heritage Village anymoresix stars.

For anyone looking for a safe, clean and loving home for your loved one(s) rest assured Heritage Village is just that. You can feel the love and dedication this team holds for their residents the moment you enter their lobby. I'm a firm believer that actions speak louder than words and recently I learned they received a state survey. This is a random test in which state audit's the entire facility looking for any regulations that are out of compliance. During this unannounced visit the surveyor concluded this building has ZERO deficiencies! Again, I would like to end my review with "actions speak louder than words"! Job well done to all your staff. Entered my mom into Heritage Village February 4, 2022. It was an extremely hard decision but a necessary one. After a 2 hour sales pitch my sister and I were sold. I have waited a while before I posted this because I wanted to see how much attention was given to my Mom. So here it is......I am going to be the unofficial spokes person for positivity regarding HV. Before admitting mom to HV she experienced 7 months of going down hill mentally and physically. Since entering HV she has been like a different person.she is doing so well. I cannot say enough about the friendly staff. First and foremost, Tammy, Gwen, Isabel, Lauren, Wendy, nurse Karen and Kim. Karen at the front desk. Mom and I are treated like royalty. She is fed 3 meals a day, has met friends who join her for meals. Is given regular showers. And more. I feel my sister and I have truly made the right decision. I am a real person. This is not a fake review, nor have I been paid to write this.

My mom and Dad moved to H.V. 3 years ago and after my mom died I was overwhelmed at how the staff helped my dad in his grief. I can't say enough about the warm, sincere, caring staff! They love my dad and treat him like family even when he's grumpy! They helped my dad get through the pandemic when I was not able to visit him and I will be forever grateful for that. The facility is immaculate, the food is varied and gourmet, and did I mention the staff? These ladies and gentlemen have become my friends and they have helped me through some hard times with my dad. I rely on them almost as much as he does. I can't believe there is a nicer place for folks who need a little or a lot of care, I'm so thankful for Heritage Village.

The nurses and care givers there were great and took wonderful care of our relative while she was there. They care about the residents and their well-being. However, management is terrible. Absolutely no concern for the family beyond you being an account. For example, management won't respond to your requests for removing you from their email lists, despite how many times you ask them. They don't care about the pain it may cause you or your loved ones to continue to receive messages from them for a loved one who has passed, they'll just keep sending them to you. The most telling thing is, they don't even apologize for sending them, they don't even respond to your request. And lots of luck getting them to refund any money they owe you. You can never get in touch with anyone about the account, and no matter how many messages you leave they never call you back.

It has been a wonderful place for my mother. Unfortunately she went there during the Covid shutdown and I haven't been able to see her. Everyone has been so kind setting up Zoom calls with her. Whenever I call to see how she is doing they always take time away from what they are doing to talk with me about her. My mother has stated that she is happy there and everyone has been kind. Kindness means everything to me so I am very happy with Heritage Village. The administrative staff has been wonderful to work with and very helpful. I highly recommend Heritage Village to anyone that is looking for a caring and wonderful staff.

My father has lived here for 4 years, first in AL and now MC. He was able to transfer to the same floor plan when he made the move. His suite is a very comfortable large bedroom with living area, kitchenette, walk in closet and large bathroom with walk in shower. Granite counter tops, pleasing colors, it's a quality setting. The staff is kind, respectful and takes very good care of my father. During non Covid times,, they provide a wide variety of daily activities to stimulate and engage all the residents. The dining is apparently top notch. Although I haven't been able to see him in person during Covid, they have Facetime'd him with me on numerous occasions and have emailed me regarding any changes at the community. No resident has contracted covid! No community is perfect but I feel very at ease with my father living at Heritage Village.

I recently visited Heritage Village and met the Executive Director and Director of Wellness. The community felt very room and inviting. I was impressed by all the smiling faces of the residents and team members. The concierge was very welcoming and I was greeted by everyone that I encountered. The community is grand and well appointed, but it is at a human scale that gives it a home-like feeling. I found the leaders to be very honest and open. My aunt was a resident for three months and would still be there if money was not an issue. They are changing ownership but the team that has been there since opening is staying intact. I have eaten lunch with her a few times and was impressed with the food. The staff is caring and nurses do a great job communicating any issues or concerns. I did not feel like I was imposing asking questions about her medicine and interactions. She started in the assisted living but because of wandering she ended up in the memory care. The pricing model at tribute is unique as it is inclusive and no additional costs are required for increased care needs. The price you pay per month for the apartment selected is all you will ever pay, and they will care for your loved one through to end of life. They have nurses onsite at all hours. The rooms are very nice with granite counter tops and ceiling fans. High ceilings make the rooms more spacious.The team does a good job getting residents up and out. There were a lot of activities for residents and many days they offered exercise classes. We used the respite option and had a furnished room that was nicely appointed for three months. The hallways take a bit of experience to navigate and were not ideal for someone with memory issues. The staff is quite flexible and cared for a challenging personality in my aunt. I am not sure how staff is trained or hired but of the three residences she has lived in, this team had an amazing way with her. She is very independent and allowed this team to assist her without pushing back, which is quite a feat. This is not what I found in the two other facilities where she has lived. I wish I could package up whatever it is they are doing right and spread it to all of the AL facilities in the area.
