MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE BEEN HERE GOING ON FOUR(4) YEARS AND WE HAVEN'T SEEN THE UPGRADE YET THAT HAS BEEN PROMISED. NOW THEY ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT NOT HAVING THE MONEY TO DO ANYTHING WITH BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE MOVING OUT. WELL, YOU GONE LOSE MORE IF YOU DON'T UPGRADE AND DO BETTER WITH GETTING THINGS DONE AND FIXED. I HAVE ASKED FOR THE NUMBER TO THE MAIN OFFICE BUT YET I HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT. WE LOVE IT HERE AND THE PEOPLE IN THE OFFICE ARE WONDERFUL AND ARE ONLY DOING WHAT THEY ARE TOLD. I UNDERSTAND THAT BUT THE MAIN PEOPLE NEED TO COME HERE AND CHECK THINGS OUT AND LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE CONCERNS. HAVE A MEETING WITH THE PEOPLE. THE OUTSIDE SCRUBS ARE DEAD AND LOOK A HOT MESS AND NEED TO BE REPLACED WITH NEW ONES. IF YOU WANT MORE MONEY YOU MUST STEP UP TO THE PLATE AND DO YOUR PART INSTEAD OF JUST COLLECTING OUR MONEY EVERY MONTH. ALSO MY COMPLAINT IS I TIED THREE BALLOONS ON MY FLAG POLE IN MY YARD (not on the house) FOR MY HUSBAND BIRTHDAY BECAUSE I WAS HAVING HIM A DINNER AND THE CHILDREN WAS COMING OVER. I WAS ASKED TO TAKE THE BALLOONS DOWN BECAUSE WE COULDN'T HAVE BALLOONS IN THE YARD. OK I HAVE NO PROBLEM TAKING IT DOWN ALTHOUGH I DIDN'T SEE WHAT IT HURT. IT WAS ONLY FOR A DAY. BUT YOU CAN LET ONE TIED A ROPE THROUGH THE SHUTTERS ON HER HOUSE THEN AROUND THE SCRUBS AND AROUND THE WHITE POLE ON HER PORCH TO KEEP THE WIND FROM BLOWING HER FLOWER POT THAT HANGING FROM HER YARD POLE. TO ME THAT CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SHUTTERS. I ASKED THEM IN THE OFFICE WHY SHE CAN DO THAT AND I WAS NOT PLEASED WITH THEIR ANSWER AND ITS BEEN LIKE THAT FOR TWO(2) WEEKS NOW. I HAVE THE PICS TO SHOW BOTH MY BALLOONS AND THE HER SHUTTERS. SO TO YOU MY RATING IS POOR RIGHT NOW. IT'S SAD ALSO PEOPLE ARE COMPLAINING BUT AFRAID TO POST HERE. I'M SORRY BUT I'M NOT SORRY ABOUT MY RATING!!!!!!

I moved here from Maryland 5 months ago and so far I enjoy the warm quiet atmosphere. My neighbors are friendly and welcoming. I only wish there were more activities for the seniors. I take part in Bingo every Thursday and it's fun, but we need more outings like bus trips to the Casino or the DC memorials. But all in all I enjoy my new community.

Very nice place to live I it UP DATE ON MY REVIEW- TWO YEARS NOW. DEFINITELY MY FOREVER HOME. EXCELLENT MANAGEMENT, MAINTAINENCE, GROUNDS ARE BEAUTIFUL, AND GARBAGE REMOVAL IS ON POINT. I AM LIVING MY BEST LIFE. NOT TO MENTION ALL THE WONDERFUL COMMUNITY GET TOGETHER'S.

The area around the senior community is a little displaced. Inside the community is a better experience. There are always a few people who seem to want to make waves anywhere you go. Trying to find a place where everyone gets along is rare nowadays.

I know someone who lives here and it seems to be a pleasant place to live. They allow pets, but I believe there's restrictions on size and numbers. The acquaintance's home has a washer and dryer in unit, two bedrooms, one bath, and a small kitchen and medium size living area. The visitor parking rules are kind of draconian, but it's probably for the comfort of the residents. I believe they maintain the lawns and their appear to be some communal recreation areas but I've never seen them in use. It is within walking distance (depending on your mobility) of the England Run branch of the Central Rappahannock Regional Library. At one point I did ask the library if I could pick up books on behalf of the resident I know and they were willing to work something out.
