Went there for a interview, staff was very welcoming, residents were clean, happy and healthy. Although I didn't get the job the Executive Director and staff supervisor Dana were very nice and covered the full basis of the job. The job was offered to me but due to other factors I was unable to accept the position at the time. Great environment for seniors.

Excellent. A friendly, happy place to call home. The activities, care, and cleanliness are top notch. The staff is friendly, positive, and professional. Our grandfather is very happy and we are pleased to know he is safe, has friendship, and is well cared for.

My grandmother is a current resident here They take fabulous care of her. The facility is beautiful, clean and staff is extremely friendly. I love that they do so many activities with the residents and go on many outings. All of the residents seem very happy and cared for. The facility feels like a giant home, The bedrooms are beautiful.. formal dining setting for each meal and my grandmother loves the food They can even have wine with dinner if they choose. Highly recommend this place.

My mother has been at Commonwealth - Berryville for nearly 3 years, and our family is so blessed to have her there in the comfort and security of a staff that not only cares for her, but genuinely loves her. Now 95 1-2 years old, as her needs have changed, their care has increased, even through the challenging times of Covid. A huge shout out of acknowledgement and appreciation to Genoa, Dawn, Emily, and to Brenda (the director), who not only care for my mom, but have loved and cared for me in the process of her aging. Even the kitchen staff and nurse techs are so kind and loving. The facility itself feels like a home, not an institution, and even through quarantine, we were able to visit with my mom through the 2 large screened in porches on the front of the building. So grateful for her to spend her senior years here!

Located in Berryville, VA; this debit living facility is outstanding in terms of the surrounding location and the size of the facility and if course the passing area for visiting. In addition, the buildings are modern with amenities for senior living residents. The staff is very friendly and helpful and very observing of the residents needs. Ideally, the staffs ideology or core values about caring for people, being passionate and having fun in the working environment of their choice - speaks of volumes of how well the residents are going to be treated and the respect they have for the residents. If youre thinking about having a loved one live here, I recommend paying a visit to see for yourself this facility provides to those already residing here.

Before finding Commonwralth Senior Living in Berryville, VA for my mother-in-law, the whole family was under a lot of stress due to her illnesses. She was just so hateful, since we have placed her in berryville commonwealth senior living, it has been a blessing. She is so satisfied and in good hands everyone of us (including her) gets rest They always have something going on to keep her busy and she enjoys the friends that she has made. They are so loving and compassionate to her and all the residents there. What a great place. Thank each and everyone who works there for all you do!

I am a resident at Berryville. The staff is responsive. I have ALS and have no relative nearby and only have a private caregiver to depend on. The only assistance that I require is getting in and out of my bed, assistance getting dressed. With ALS my speech is very limited. I have been here 4 months now, and very few of the staff can understand me when I speak. I use my iPhone to communicate. Which is very difficult. With my ALS I have a hard time eating certain foods. The management keeps telling me that a selective menu will be forthcoming. They have an alternated for meals which consist of turkey or ham sandwiches with cheese or soup. Both I have a hard time eating both selections. Luckily I have a refrigerator in my room where I keep frozen hamburger, mashed potatoes, TV dinners and tuna fish if I dont like the selections. I was use to grilled chicken, steaks, grilled pork chop or hamburger before I got here. They have nothing that I was use to eating. I am here during the virus crisis and we are treated like prisoners. Are not permitted to go outside and walk around the building. Those who need attention during eating are allowed to dine in the dining room while the others are fed in their respective rooms. I bet the staff that has families do not make their family eat in their bedrooms. So far we have nor had any cases of the virus here at this facility. Maybe it is the CDC requirements or over caution interpretation of the CDC requirement. I talked with Derick Mathis on June 5, 2020 about the residents having to wear masks when they g out of their rooms. I was looking for CDC or Virginia Dept of Social Services requirement that require wearing masks outside of our rooms. I was unable to find my answer on GOOGLE. During the conversation with Derick I came to the conclusion that he took it on himself to require residents to wear masks. I think his judgment was uncalled for. Clarke County, VA which Berryville is located has a population of 14,000 of wihixh there has been 31 cases of corona virus since Mar 18, 3 were hospitalized and no deaths.

Caring for your parent when they are at a stage in life where you don't have the knowledge can be somewhat daunting. Can't even express the gratitude I feel for Greenfield when it comes to my mother. The new nurse is amazing and gives me comfort knowing my mother is in great hands. The new nurse and staff compliment each other and make my mother's living environment wonderful.

Greenfield at Berryville has been very interesting. At one point they seem to have a few issues but was always encouraged how quickly they resolved them. Now it seems as though the place runs like clockwork. My mother loves this community. I highly recommend Greenfield at Berryville to anyone wanting a comfortable, caring place for a family member you love.

This community has been wonderful for my great aunt. The staff is friendly and compassionate. They take great care to make sure she is clean and in a healthy safe environment. The quality of her life has improved so much since moving to this community since she had difficulty taking care of herself.

My mother has been a resident of this community for around seven months. She absolutely loves it! The staff are caring and attentive and the building is immaculate. There are numerous activities for residents and the overall atmosphere is very friendly. She has made many new friends since moving in. Overall, I have been extremely happy with the level of care Greenfield provides and would highly recommend this community to anyone who is seeking assisted living for a love one.

My father lives here. They are great. The facility is very nice with nice porches looking out at the trees. There is a vegetable garden and sitting area in between the two wings. My dad really likes the meals there, and he can be quite picky. They regulate the meds for him and do the laundry. The maintenance tech and facilities managers are very easy to deal with. I am very happy with our choice to put him there.
