Mom moved into the Assisted Living apartments a year ago and we've been super happy with the facility itself and even more so with the staff. Everyone does more than expected to meet her needs and communicate with me. She tells me how much she likes living there almost every time I visit, and I didn't expect that at all.

I have lived in CG III (Assisted Living) over four years and love that I have found a home in such a well-run organization. I love the wonderful and very caring international staff. I love being among other wounded fellow-beings like myself. I love having three meals a day since I hate to cook. I love the view of Nature from my apartment window. I love that one is allowed to be as independent as one likes, and not required to attend all activities. These activities, however, are a lot of fun. For our entertainment there are movies, parties, arts and crafts, games, and other fun things to do.

My mother was a resident at Culpepper Garden for over 2-1/2 years. The staff was outstanding during Mom's slow decline and were with her when she died three days ago. Their genuine affection for my Mom, who could be difficult, was apparent in the way they treated her and the way they spoke of her. We were so lucky to find such an outstanding place for my Mom to spend her last few years.

I have a family member that has been there for almost 2 years. They love it! They have activities almost daily for the residents. The residents have the ability to jump on a shuttle that brings them to shopping center. Very convenient. The facility brings in someone almost monthly to help with nails, hair cuts and even a vet comes by. The aids are priceless here. You can tell that the staff at this facility really do care about the residents. Kim the Director is a God sent! As busy as she is, she takes the time to listen to every resident and to the family members.

My Mom moved into CPG on August 15th, 2022. I wasn't sure how she would like it because she agreed to move there without even touring the place (she moved from Gulfport, MS). Thankfully, she loves living at CPG. And with so many positive things she has experienced since being there, why wouldn't she? The daily care staff is very attentive and comes every day to check on her, take her trash out, make her bed, and straighten her kitchen. What a great benefit! The resident coordinator, November, deserves a personal call out. Just recently, she had members from the DMV come offer appointments at the actual residence, just in time for my Mom to get a handicap placard and a Virginia ID. On top of that, November walked the residents to/from their appointments. What superb service! The medical care has been phenomenal as well. The Director of Nursing, Precious, has an excellent bedside manner and has ensured my Mom receives the best care possible from her Primary Care doctor. She even helped my Mom order a birthday cake for my birthday. My Mom was so happy that she could get me a cake and make it a surprise. Precious went above and beyond there. Truly awesome! Lisa, the physical therapist, began working with my Mom the week she arrived. In just over a month, the pt has increased both her mobility and overall health. Kim, the administrator, has been outstanding with overall service and making sure my Mom is settling in. She also helped me find some grants that will help subsidize my Mom's cost of care. Indeed, above and beyond. My Mom loves the new friends she has made there and routinely brags about how well she does at the local Jeopardy competition. I can't say enough about how significant CPG has been to my Mom's happiness and overall health. I'm so fortunate to have found this place and to have my Mother living there.

My elderly family member has been residing at Culpeper Garden Senior living community in Arlington, Va. for several years now. I'm rating the facility 2 stars due to the fact of the many concerns as follows- there is an ongoing issue with ROACHES (residents can request to staff/front desk to have their unit exterminated on a once a week basis, which is o.k. but,it doesn't really make a difference because of a few reasons, the weak chemical the facility is using, they're not addressing every unit in the buildings regularly, and the exterminator asks/tell the residents NOT to treat their units themself with store bought products i.e. roach/ bug sprays or baits) Another issue, which is disgusting, unsanitary, and horrifying to say the least is the mices that are invading the living space/apartments & facility! The mice infestation has gotten worse since Culpeper Garden has finally chosen to do lonnnngggg awaited and needed remodeling and construction of the buildings
