I just recently moved my wife, who has dimentia from Sunrise Assisted Living at Fair Oaks, VA to Renaissance of Annandale. What a positive experience!!! The difference between those 2 places are like night and day! The Renaissance place on Braddock Rd, in Annandale is so much more cleaner and newer, when I go over there to visit my wife, it's like a breath of fresh air. This place is only 4 yrs old, and it is so beautiful, it looks like it was just built yesterday. Also, the staff appears to be much more diligent and caring than the Sunrise staff. and, they charge a one flat rate for each month for everything. Sunrise tried to tack on every little thing, and even tried making me pay for a month in advance all the time. I just love everything about Renaissance!!!! It is also 7 miles closer to my house in Fairfax Station. So, it's much more convenient!!! And, the Renaissance specializes in just taking care of dimentia and Alzheimers people only. and the place has everything on just one floor. Sunrise assisted living had 3 floors of assisted living on the top level and the memory care unit was on the bottom floor. Renaissance has everything on ONE FLOOR!! This is just so much better!!! Also, Renaissance has all kinds of monthly activities scheduled. So, all the residents have plenty of things to do!! They even make trips over to the Smithsonian museum from time to time!!! So, if you have a loved one who needs some help with Dimentia, this is absolutely the BEST PLACE IN THE METRO AREA!!!! and, finally, their monthly rate is several thousand dollars cheaper than Sunrise!!! You just can't go wrong with Renaissance of Annandale. My wife is really HAPPY being there!!! and, I'm a very satisfied customer. Bob Matthews Fairfax Station, VA 22039

We would like to take this opportunity to share a few thoughts on Renaissance of Annadale. Our mom has been a resident of Renaissance for two years now. She previously resided at another memory care facility where she was not getting the care and attention she needed. Since her arrival at Renaissance, the contrast in level of care could not be more evident. We have been pleased with the love and nurturing she is shown, the activities that are held (including those that family are invited to), and the communication with us whenever there is a matter that needs to be discussed. The updates, photos, and videos we are periodically sent provide a heartwarming glimpse into the various activities she engages in. The staff—from the administrative team to the care team to the front desk receptionists—has been very attentive and proactive in responding to her needs and we rest easy knowing that our mom's health, welfare, well-being, and safety are being attended to by thoughtful and caring individuals.

Thankful I found Renaissance! I toured a nearby residence and left depressed, worried about what was next. After visiting with knowledgeable professionals in the field of memory care, Renaissance was highly recommended. I called and was put in contact with Gerome who expedited my whole process with amazing comfort and ease with putting my Aunt there. I flew in overnight and had her transported from the hospital to their facility in 24 hours and couldn't have done it without him! The facility is amazing from the care, knowledge and smell! Would recommended to everyone.

This is never a fun process, but I found a lot of reasons to like Renassance of Annandale, Especially with Jerome on the case. His job description is misleading. He is also the camp counselor, chaplain and Chief Cheerleader. He seems to be everywhere. I could not be happier nor could my loved one. Our move in was rushed by the hospital, but he opened doors cut through the red tape and and made this work in 24 hours and he was standing at the door when we arrived.. He is an absolute treasure. The residence very attractive and cheery it is pretty special, but I think that Jerome is the catalyst for that. It is hard to be anything but happy around Jerome. My oldest brother was a resident of Renaissance up to his recent passing. I would like to preface that I had a Certified Assisted Living Administrator license, but am now retired. And, that I was a Senior Living Marketing and Sales Director for eighteen years. I worked with major providers within the assisted living, continuing care retirement communities and skilled nursing, as well as privately held communities in both a community focus and as a regional marketing/sales director. I will say, that the care that my brother received at Renaissance was the apex of any memory care community that I visited or worked in. The team at Renaissance was proactive. And, on the few times they had to be reactive, their follow-up and response was thorough. My nieces, my brother's daughters, were glad that their dad, and their children's granddad, was nearby. When I visited my brother, I always used three sets of eyes...those of a family member, those of marketing/sales director observing a competitor and the eyes of a someone holding a community executive director's license. The most amazing facility with caring and compassionate staff who are committed and trained to care for your loved one. Jerome made me feel like family and I felt so safe and secure leaving my loved one in their hands. Its clean, organized with activities , wonderful meals and staffed with the best. I am so grateful for the caring and capable staff at Renaissance Senior Living-Annandale who cared for my brother during the last few weeks of his life. They served him and the whole family with patience and kindness, facilitating regular communication with out-of-town and home-bound family members. Jerome, in particular, went the extra mile to help my brother get admitted to Renaissance and get settled comfortably in his new surroundings. Jerome's compassion and rapport with my brother smoothed the path for what might otherwise have been a much more difficult transition. Jerome's thoughtfulness and sensitivity ministered greatly to the whole family. Renaissance Senior Living-Annandale provided the right care at the right time, and I recommend them for anyone seeking patient-centered memory care.

This is the hardest thing I have ever done. The staff helped me through the process and is still helping me through support and guidance. Renaissance of Annandale is bright and open the staff is caring and educated in memory care. The residents have plenty of activities and socialization.

Great experience all around! Jerome, Director of Marketing, provides truly outstanding service! The patient is well occupied with activities such as painting, bingo, church, exercise, dancing, beach ball, etc. Care staff has greatly improved her eating and drinking and tries hard to accommodate her needs.

I had heard so many positive things about this facility from several women I know whose husbands were residents there, so I took the tour and talked at length with the director both of whom were so reassuring and informative . My husband was becoming more and more difficult to handle, so I knew I had to start making plans for his new life in a memory care facility. He has been there for a little over three months now and has adjusted beautifully. He never asks to come home in fact. I am finally able to de-stress and sleep through the night. All of the residents and staff were vaccinated against Covid-19 back in January. I have been able to visit him at least twice a week for 30 mins each time. Once these necessary protocols are lifted, we. Can enjoy participating in the excellent activities there. I have also benefitted greatly from the bi-monthly support group meetings for spouses on Zoom. These sessions are expertly monitored by a professional counselor who makes sure they don't devolve into unhelpful emotional outbursts. In short, I am very content with my husband's transition and current status at Renaissance of Annandale! And, I haven't even mentioned what a beautiful facility it is with wide corridors and brightly colored walls.

The Renaissance is a Fantastic Place. I have a Very close family member there. A lifelong friend who is practically like my brother. They have a Wonderful Facility, an Amazing, Caring, Patient, Loving and Kind Staff. It is run impeccably. I feel like my loved one is Safe, happy & secure.

Renaissance of Annandale is beautiful caring facility with amazing staff. My sister was a patient. She was cared for with love and dignity. Jerome Leads was always available to the family and provided a fun, caring ,loving community for our sister. We can not thank them enough.
