Our family member has been in memory care at Sagewood at Daybreak for the past year. Has it been perfect? No! But our issues have been minor and appropriately addressed. The Quality of the Staff/Administration has been excellent. They are to be commended on maintaining compassion, humanness, and oft times a good sense of humor in trying circumstances. Our family member is receiving the respectful, safe and comprehensive care we sought during this difficult transition.

I was a walk-in visit to obtain information for Senior Living Specialists Utah. Kathy welcomed me with her warmth and offered to give me a tour of the community even though I wasn't a prospect. Kathy, a Sales Director, introduced me to Meaghan, also a Sales Director, who also greeted me with kindness. Kathy spoke to teammembers, family members and residents along our tour. She knew stories about them all and their names. Kathy was informative, not too rushed or too slow on the tour. She provided me with ample information to get started with for the families I serve. I've trained multi family and senior living sales, and appreciated Kathy's detailed knowledge of the community along with her style of touring. The community has a vibrant energy as soon as you enter - the Concierge and other teammembers greeted me with a smile, residents were chatting and buzzing around. I'm somewhat new to the area and want to share a public note of appreciation for Kathy and the team at Sagewood Daybreak- you made my afternoon. Thanks!

I cannot express how thankful I am for the team at sagewood, starting with Kathy who was our sales lady. My wife and I went there to look at it as we were looking for places for family to move into. We had a nice tour and dinner there so we could see what the food is like. Kathy spent 6 months working with us and staying in touch as the journey to get parents there was full of twists and turns. She was so genuinely concerned and had unbelievable communication the whole time. When it came time to move, she helped put us in touch with someone who could help with moving them in. Wade, the executive director, was very kind and accommodating when they arrived. Since they’ve been there, they have commented on how kind everyone is, how good the food is, how much they enjoy the activities, and how much they feel they are where they should be. We’ve been able to simplify there lives and give them opportunities to enjoy the “golden years”. Staff is consistently kind and friendly every time we come by and welcome families being there and having this be a home where all are welcomed. I’m so thankful for Kathy and her team and can’t recommend this place enough

Sagewood is a wonderful place to live for my aging mom who has memory issues. They are so patient and kind, they all know who mom is and seem to genuinely love and care for her. She loves the activities that engage her daily. The staff is incredible to work with, I’ve gotten to know many of them and feel like they are part of the family with the care they give and the positive communication we have. I've been here for a few months now and couldn't be more impressed. The level of care, courtesy, kindness, and professionalism has never waned. Not even for a day! The quality of service, food, environment, and activities have far exceeded my expectations (which were high to begin with). Prior to making my decision, I invested a good deal of time, visiting and speaking with representatives of other assisted-living facilities, and I must say, none compared. I love the people at Sagewood (both the staff and residents) and am truly grateful for my choice in joining this wonderful community.

I recently entered Sagewood at Daybreak into an independent living apartment. This life-changing environment has brought up a few concerns. Was it affordable? Would I be safe in this pandemic? How would I be treated? To answer the first question, is it affordable? I found that when I totaled up my expenses living in the same house for the past 27 years, Sagewood was less expensive. I have been at Sagewood for the past 8 months and still have the same $10 bill in my wallet as I did when I moved in. Would I feel safe? I feel safe at Sagewood as residents are given a COVID-19 test twice a week, and masks are given out at the front desk. Cleanliness is a top priority at Sagewood. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I feel like part of a family as everyone knows your name at Sagewood. The one thing I dont like, the fitness room could really use a treadmill, however, the newly redone pool and hot tub is great for relaxing.

I love Sagewood, it is my home. it was hard to sell my home in bountiful, but it is great to move to a home where I feel loved. I have live here almost 5 years. I like all the people, everyone is very friendly, we are all in the same boat and this is our home. I do love the way they all treat my dog, Buster! Every time I visit the front desk, Buster gets a treat. I love making flower vases for my friends here at Sagewood. there are many activities you can participate in, and if you dont want to you dont have to. There are a lot of places to walk. in the spring there are lavender bushes everywhere.

If I were you I would choose Sagewood at day break first over any other retirement community! They are all loving kind, and genuinely are solution oriented! Absolutely recommend Sagewood at Daybreak. My mother had a beautiful apartment. The staff treated her with respect and love. The healthy living staff is the best there is. Top notch, trained staff, and house keepers, took care of mom when we-she could not. Mom lived in the assisted living community of Sagewood. This is far from a nursing home, this is a beautiful community that serves their residence in a manner they deserve. They have a ton of cutural and professional activities, not just bingo. Live concerts, art studio, professionally lead exercise classes, and daily social hours to name a few. They have relationships with visiting doctors and home health professionals, as well as a very qualified nurse on site. I would not hesitate to recommend Sagewood to anyone who needs day to day help with everyday life.

My dad has been a resident at Sagewood for about two years. During his time there, he has been be-friended by many of the staff, which has been really meaningful and helpful to him, and which our family has really appreciated. I want to give a special shout out to Soni Johnson. Im not sure what her title is because it seems like she does everything. In addition to performing the duties of her position, she has gone well above and beyond anything we could have ever asked of her. She has become my dads best friend, source of encouragement and courage, supporter, cheerleader and whatever else she has needed to do and be to help him be his best self and have the best life he can have during this time. She is an amazing and caring person, and has been a wonderful blessing to our dad and our family. Thank you so much for who you are and for all you do.

We love living at Sagewood at Daybreak! We moved here 10 days before Christmas and got in on the festivities of the holidays, including Chinese New Year! Then came the real challenge of getting through the winter with Covid-19. Amazingly, we were thankful to be here, safe and secure with staff and associates who were cheerful and kept a well-balanced program going through the winter, spring and summer. We were treated with a balance of activities and kindness, and even an outdoor summer concert series. Thank you to those of you here at Sagewood who plan and work so diligently on our behalf. Soni, the nurse, is aware of each resident and family. There is a high expectation of everyone that comes in to care for any of their residents. My Grandma moved into Sagewood after a stay in rehab with the hopes that she would continue to improve following a fall she had at home. Sadly she spent her last few days here on hospice care. The staff were all wonderful with her. We cannot thank them enough for taking care of her so gently and kindly during her last few days. This all happened during COVID and Soni was great to work with us so we could come and say goodbye. Communication was excellent. I would highly recommend Sagewood. Beautiful building, wonderful staff. Grandma would be proud to know she was so well taken care of in her final moments.

We moved my parents into Sagewood the first of March and it has been absolutely the best decision! Every single person we have come into contact with from the maintenance staff, dining personnel, front desk, health care providers... literally everyone has been so kind, so helpful and truly caring. During COVID, they have gone above and beyond to put relatives at ease... and to make life enjoyable and just plain fun for the residents. From my parents answering their door to a surprise ice cream treat, or the sounds of a concert, or a rickshaw ride around the lake... Sagewood has just done so very much. I could not be more impressed. Its no wonder this place is such a gift... the director, Wade Vest, is incredibly kind and you can tell he truly loves the residents and will do whatever he can to make their life enjoyable. Sagewood is a very friendly, caring, beautiful, clean and supportive facility. I have worked with the care team closely on multiple residents with nothing but fantastic outcomes. Families are very appreciative and have very good things to say. I feel the staff goes above and beyond to make everyone who enters feel important....not just residents and families. They were among the first to take precautions with COVID- 19 in hopes of protecting the ones they care about. I have friends that have family members living at Sagewood. I have been there to visit many times and I have always been welcomed by everyone. I am a nursing student in Montana right now and when I come to town... I always make an effort to go visit my friends at Sagewood. I have never felt it to be a burden or ugggg, not the old folks home! I always feel like I am just going to see my grand parents and I always leave feeling happy and satisfied. They are always playing games or having singing programs. I plan on a visit and stay for hours. I hope when I graduate that I can find employment in a place that great. It gives the American youth at least a little hope that it wont be so bad growing older.

Sagewood has been a huge benefit for my family and especially for my grandparents who moved there a little over 3 years ago. The facility is beautiful and in excellent condition all the time and the staff are wonderful. Management is professional and have always been responsive to our needs. We have other family friends in other senior living facilities and no one has handled COVID as well as sagewood. They have allowed us great and safe access to my grandparents during this time and they havent cut services like many of the other facilities have. Moving to Sagewood has definitely extended my grandpas life and given us more time with him. I would recommend this facility all day long.

My Mother is a resident at Sagewood and we cannot say enough great things about this facility. They are like an extended family we never knew we had. They have endless options, the staff is more than willing to help with any needs, and you always feel welcome and part of the Sagewood family when you are there. The dining room is like a fancy restaurant and the servers are not just servers, the take the time to get to know the residents and their families. Joseph especially has made my Mom feel like she is cared for and he always is willing to help her and ask how her day is etc..... I can count on Austin with any help I need whether it's a question about my Mom's routine, or health concerns, he is always willing to quickly help.

Sagewood is wonderful! The staff here are always friendly and inviting. When visiting my grandma, we are always greeted by a friendly face, whether it be from staff or a resident, everyone takes a moment to say hello and ask how you're doing. This gives me comfort knowing she is surrounded by such caring people. Sagewood hosts many events for residents and for their guests. This is one thing I really love about this place. My grandma is able to attend simple activities to keep her busy throughout each day and occasionally they'll throw bigger events that family and guests can also attend. These events are grand too. You can tell that they've put a lot of thought and effort into planning it to make it feel extra special. With all the extravagant decorations and entertainment, you truly feel like a guest of honor. Sagewood may be an assisted living facility, but with everything they do and the care they provide, they truly do a wonderful job at making you feel more like you're right at home. After every visit I leave with confidence and comfort knowing that she is in good hands.

Sagewood is a very light beautiful friendly place. It is an easy place to invite friends to come to visit and have a meal. They always enjoy it and want to return. My family particularly enjoys the omelettes,and usually come for breakfast every week. I enjoy all the exercise classes, particularly the balance and yoga classes. I love to go on the rides to hear the symphony, and really enjoyed the trip to see the Nutcracker at Christmas. I would recommend Sagewood for any person who wants a happy secure place to live and offers lots of activities.

I think of Sagewood At Daybreak as a comfortable home where I have many friends. It has been my home for over a year now and it welcomes my family to meet with me, especially members of my family who enjoyed the swimming facilities and hot tub. Because I have had a knee replacement, the exercise classes such as sit & fit and especially balance class are very important to me. They give me more strength to prevent falling. I have even hired trainers to come to my room to facilitate developing stronger muscles to help my balance capability. I do not have a favorite dish here, I like it all. I get a big choice every meal so it’s not a problem. I always take the opportunity to go out and see Salt Lake area using Sagewood transportation services. I also am grateful for the transportation service because my doctor has recommended me not to drive. I have recommended Sagewood At Daybreak to my friends and the staff is very helpful. I now recommend it to you.
