My grandmother is staying here and loves it. The location is very convenient, the staff are great and attentive, the dining is great, and the atmosphere is just what you would hope for a loved one who can't live on their own any more. They have various activities for residents to enjoy, including a hair salon for on-site styling.

In my honest opinion there is no better place in Northern Utah to work and have a family member. I have worked her for 1.5 years and can say I have never met a management more willing to help out staff, and make sure that residents are getting the care that they deserve. As humans we make mistakes and they are inevitable, but the staff does their best to minimize and ensure they happen rarely. Highly consider checking it out for a tour or asking if they are hiring! 10-10 place.

What an awesome place to work! The residents here are truly cared for and loved. Management is amazing!! They put the health and well being of the residents and employees first! Management is always willing to help and work on the floor if needed to make sure that the residents get the care they need. Management listens and are willing to take any suggestions the residents, family members, or employees may have. They are constantly working hard to improve the facility and improve quality of life for the residents! If youre thinking about placing a loved one in this facility or working here, I highly recommend it. You wont meet more genuine and caring people anywhere else!

My dad was a resident there abt 3 years ago. He received excellent care and truly felt loved. I do have a suggestion...in the garden area it is surrounded with gravel. It is not the best for these seniors to plant and weed kneeling on that gravel. Needs to be grass . Also someone needs to take care of unused plots. The weeds were ridiculous.

My sister has her mother-in-law at Brookdale North Ogden and she was happy with it. It's a nice place. The room that she's in is a really big and nice studio. The dining room is really nice and comfortable for her. They do a lot of activities and she's been on a lot of outings with them, which is really nice. They do Bingo, movies, and outings to museums, a bird refuge, the dollar store and Wal-Mart.

I feel like they do an excellent job with care it seems like they are very attentive on each of the times that I have been in there. Whenever I recapitulate about where I would want a loved one this place seems invaluable. They have their own transportation and are regularly using it to schedule events and excursions.

Mom is at Brookdale North Ogden memory care area. Her room is a single room with double bed, two chairs, a TV, and a table. The dining area is just down the hall with the dining room table set up plus an area with television, computer where they gather to do different activities. The outside is very nice, they can go out in the front and sit in the rocking chairs, they can go in the back where there’s a patio, and it’s all well-kept. They have exercises and trivia games, and sometimes they had outside activities like shopping.

We went with Brookdale North Ogden for my husband, but he needed more care than they were able to give him. They also did not have any more lockdown units. They were really nice though and great people to work with. The staff was very nice and accommodating, but it was very short-lived because my husband ran away from there. The rooms were really nice. He had a furnished room with a little fridge and a little sink. If he would be able to take care of himself, that would have been a great place. One of the reasons I chose Brookdale is because every evening, they had social stimulation for the patients and also our church had services right there.

We went to Brookdale at North Ogden, and we were trying to move my mother there, but there was a problem with her medications. However, I liked that they had an enclosed outdoor area, and I liked the view of the mountains.

We put my mom into Brookdale North Ogden (Formerly Emeritus Estates), and we're very happy with that. It's very nice and clean, and they have a central eating place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also have an exercise place. They make sure that my mom gets her pills morning and night. It's very well run. In fact, my 90-year-old aunt called me up and asked me if she could get in somehow. My mother told me the other day she won bingo. They play physical stuff, and they also play cards. We got her in a pretty nice room. There are two chairs, a couch, bed, a little kitchenette area, a fridge, a wash basin to do dishes, and cupboards.

Their rooms seemed to be a little bit smaller than the other place I visited, and that's about the only negative that I saw. Other than that, Brookdale North Ogden (Formerly Emeritus Estates) was on the same level, and the big advantage is it's closer to my children. I like that I could have a pet. It does have a yard that I could take the dog out for a walk or to play with or let them get some running exercise. The one bedroom that they showed me was more of a studio apartment. When you walk in, you had a little living area, off the left was a little kitchen, off to the right was a bed, and then right at the foot of the bed was the bathroom. When I went into the facility, it was quiet and neat, the floors looked clean, and the people were quite helpful. The environment was very good.

In March 2015, my 90 year old father was no longer able to care for himself at his home. The decision was made to move him to an assisted care center as 24/7 home health care proved cost prohibitive ($7k to $12k per month within Weber county). I wasn't sure how he was going to acclimate, but it's worked out very well for him and for me. The care he receives is wonderful. Every need that my father required has been met by the company; whether it's his daily medication needs, hot meals, bathing, room cleaning, laundry, weekly doctor visits, multiple nurse/staff check-in's, socialization, mail service, etc. There is no smell like the awful centers from the 1960's to 1980's. Emeritus Estates of Ogden has my vote of confidence.

Emeritus Estates was very nice. Everybody was having a good time when we went there. The people living there seemed to be very friendly and nice. The one staff member who showed me what they had was a nice lady. She was fine. The rooms were very nice, very clean, and bright; however, they didn't have two-bedroom, two-bathrooms.
