My wife and I interviewed multiple assisted living facilities and even placed my Mother in Law in one where her treatment was poor. Different story. When we found Buffalo Creek, they have simply gone above and beyond our high interview expectations! Any one or place can talk a good talk. Buffalo Creek’s staff from the director Amanda to the nurse (Nikki) to the med techs (Gloria, Mikalya, Coleen, Joanne + the rest) have been so outstanding we consider them part of my family. Can’t begin to tell you the many times they have gone well past above and beyond! I have to admit my wife and I have pretty high (impossible) standards and Buffalo Creek has exceeded those easily. An absolutely pleasure to work with. Love them all. Ten Stars of a possible highest Five!

Buffalo Creek is an amazing community! Their Award Winning SPARK program is a research-based approach thats inspired by Montessori Methods and is key to providing life-changing services to residents. SPARK focuses on engagement, a social lifestyle, and inclusion within the community at large. This program alone places them a cut above any other senior living community!

My wife Betsy and I moved in one month ago tomorrow. We love the place and feel warm and comfortable. We were familiar with Buffalo Creek because Betsy mother was here for about four years. It meets and surpasses everything we hoped for.The entire staff from the Executive Director on down are amazing. We know we are home.

I'm giving 2 stars instead of one simply on the basis of a very nice maintenance man - Dale stayed late that first night we moved my mother in, getting her cable TV hooked up. Outside of that, miscommunication, lack of transparency, and a couple of bad apples in their nursing barrel meant this facility did not work out for my mother. Management led me to believe this facility could manage my mother's rehab following her fall & subsequent injuries, but she languished in her room for 10 days awaiting their official assessment of her abilities (not to mention no one would touch her, lacking doctor's orders for physical therapy which I do understand from a liability standpoint, but fail to comprehend from a caretaking standpoint. So I essentially served as unpaid caretaker - even once physical therapy was initiated, no one communicated their findings or goals until the crisis point was reached, as the staff kept removing the transport chair she had been relying upon - insisting she use a wheelchair which was too heavy & cumbersome for her to maneuver with her limited upper-body strength & R-arm injuries. Again, no one contacted me, nor communicated with my mother other than to scold her for using a rolling walker "when she should be in a wheelchair". Overall, I believe they are accustomed to dealing with patients suffering from a much greater degree of mental impairment than my mother.

My Mother was at another facility and we chose this one because it was going to be a step up. I really like how the staff members actually treat her like a person and they are getting to know her. The staff helps her out a lot and her health is improving tremendously. For activities they have country rides, entertainment that comes in, parties, and bingo.

I like the care here for my father. The staff is caring and helpful. My father likes the variety of good healthy meals that they are enjoying. They offer a lot of activities and we were happy that the caretakers were helpful in getting him to participate. I would highly recommend this community for outstanding care.

The staff at this community have been wonderful. The community is small so the staff is able to be very attentive. The place itself is immaculate, the maintenance does a very good job. The room my mother is in fits her needs, which was very important to us. I haven't had a chance to try the meals myself but the food looks good. I would defiantly recommend this place to a friend.

I like the facility and the rooms are very spacious. Unfortunately, they do not have any openings at the present time. I like that the seniors wear an alert necklace at all times. I am also glad that there is a new hospital close by.

i would recommend the location is very very neat and clean in side and out the staff is very friendly and make sure that you are taking car of i rated the friendliness a 5 star rating the over all rating was a 4 star to me but its a good community
