I have met some of the nicest residents in the time that I have worked there.

My aunt lives there and has been without central AC for many months because the drain pan leaks on her bathroom floor when the AC is running. They put something similar to a window unit in her bedroom but it is loud and does not cool her living room adequately. We have been in contact with the complex since last winter about this and have been told for more than six months that the drain pan has been ordered. I have been patient and waited for a solution to this problem, but have reached the end of my patience and am now posting this in the hopes something will finally be done. Not only is the central AC not working in her apartment but there are other safety issues as well that I have notified the management about and nothing has been done. The management is full of excuses but no solutions. I regret moving my aunt to Meadow Lake.

The staff is nice and always ask how things are going. They seem to always be interested in your welfare and safety. I enjoy activities and the transportation. I especially enjoy the weekly outings to lunch and shopping.

Best choice for my Papa while he was here in Texas near us! I say that because he moved back to Florida to be closer to his wife (my step-grandmother) suffering from dementia. She didnt want to except retirement living. All that has since been taken care of from both sides of the family to where its safe and comfortable for them. The condo room Papa had at Meadowlake successfully solFor those interested, every month at Meadowlake there is enjoyable activities listed to go to for residents and even family members. Clean and vibrant colors throughout the condo building! Retirement Homes are another option. A Go Bus or Meadow Lake Bus comes to take residents out as needed. Or you could use personal mode of transportation. -Vehicles and theres also room for golf carts owned by residents. The experience with the meals and staff was great! A formal dinning area and breakfast bistro area provided. We also liked the country scenery Meadowlake had and the fact that it was, is a gated community!

Every-time I have visited my Grandmother, Uncle, Aunt or cousin, its been FANTASTIC. The facilities are excellent and the staff have always been very accommodating and helpful. We are now in the process of helping my dad get a place there too! A few of these other people that are writing bad reviews, well theyre just looney! 🙂 Remember, Opportunity is never lost, its just taken advantage of by someone else... Are you that someone?

My mother is in the Memory care at Meadow Lake and she loves it. She thinks she has her own apartment with a lot of neighbors to socialize with. I do not worry about her at all because I feel confident with the Staff.
