When I first came on I was eager,happy to see the residents happy. I, was a caregiver for approximately three months. Anything and everything that was asked of me I did…& more. Slowly I began to see flaws as you would any place. Basically, theirs no team work between the caregivers. Barely communication & this causes not only drama,anxiety,frustration etc. But takes focus off residents. The residents are wonderful!! I enjoyed being able to take care of any of their needs or just to have a conversation. That's only if you had the time. Due to the fact the last two months I was there in 7 1/2 hours we ran around as caregivers like chickens with our heads cut off. This goes back to lack of communication,someone taking power of being a supervisor when they're no more important than you're to the community. A lot of drama & without naming names theirs a snitch in the building. I dreaded seeing her everyday. The comments of you take care of your ppl is disgusting. Of course here and there it takes team work no matter what residents that we were assigned to that day. My residents would tell me I hate this place. Theirs so many falls due to someone not paying attention,hiding in corners with their phones as well as being low staffed. Also, if you have Covid etc you must come to work. Doctor excuses for any illness are still not accepted as a excuse. I, hope and pray that it will eventually hit its full potential. Your needs as an employee are not met. I, was told to sit & wait for my supervisor by Mr. Williams so I could advise her I needed to go to the hospital. He looked straight through me. I, quit that day & was admitted right away into the hospital. This man has been in the nursing field & didn't have the audacity to ask me anything when I already feared telling him I may need to not work that day. God bless them all Watch out for the one always running her mouth. No one reached out but two ppl to check on me after my acute stroke. (It was staff) I thank yall! Good luck

This is my third community and I just about like everything, like activites. I go to bingo all the time. I like the food and staff. I really enjoy the church service on Sundays.

My father lived here for almost 3 years before he passed away. There are a few, as in 2 or 3, good aids that are there. Tracy, who sits up front is also an angel. The new director is kind, but the ones in charge of the business side of things are awful. I had to ask for corrections on invoices regularly because they hardly ever were right. They also lacked compassion for my father when his health began to decline and again as he passed away. One even stated, "the new director has a heart for the families, but this is a business." I'm aware they need to make money, but the callous attitudes are not warranted. Perhaps they should seek employment somewhere that doesn't require working with the elderly.

My mom had never ever wanted to be placed in a Nursing facility or Nursing home so it was very difficult when we had to make the decision to do just that. However the moment we walked in to The Heritage Home we felt warmth and kindness and knew that our mom would be taken care of with love. Yes it was still difficult to leave her there but knowing that the nursing and caregiving staff loved their job and loved on our mom made us feel blessed that we found the Heritage. Thank you to all the staff who work there!! You are so appreciated.

My aunt moved into Independent living at the Heritage in February, 2016 where she remained until she passed yesterday. Suring that time, she moved from Independent Living to Assisted Living, and finally to Memory Care. She was always happy and content there. Christina, the Administrator, and the entire staff was always quick to work with us whenever there was an issue. And the staff, especially the memory care staff, were amazing. I was so moved by the real grief the staff felt at my aunt's passing. She had only been in memory care for a couple of months, but the staff had developed a real relationship with her. And it wasn't easy because she wasn't verbal. I was with her the day before she passed. I pulled back the covers and burst into tears, because the staff had placed a fuzzy teddy bear in her arms to comfort her. My aunt was very happy to be at the Heritage, and I believe that her life was prolonged by several years because of the care and attention that she received there. Sincerely, Barbara Garland

My mom has been living in the assisted living apartments at The Heritage since January 2021, and we are all very pleased with it. Everyone on staff, from the executive director down to the maintenance associates and concierges at the front desk are all very kind and compassionate! I highly recommend it!

The Heritage of Tomball is where my heart is. Ive worked here for four years and I have loved every minute of it. I started working as a certified medication aide and now have been promoted to Memory Care Program Director. I look forward to coming to work every day because I am there to make a difference in the lives of our residents. I am there for the main purpose of seeing that their needs are met each and every day. I look forward to coming to work and getting hugs from MY residents! We put smiles on each other faces. Residents First is what I firmly believe in every time I come through those doors . Come and experience for yourself the big, happy family we have at The Heritage in Tomball!!

My mother has lived in the Independent Living section of The Heritage in Tomball since August of 2017. We have been very happy with all aspects of The Heritage. The staff is both kind and friendly and always available if a resident or family member has a question or concern. The maintenance staff is quick to respond to resident needs and the concierges are well-trained and always helpful. There are many activities for the residents to enjoy including outings, games, musical presentations, exercise groups, and worship services. The food at The Heritage is exceptionally good. The menus are well-planned and the food is very tasty. Besides the daily specials on the menu, there are multiple always-available options. We recently celebrated Mother’s 90th birthday at The Heritage and used Chef Justin’s catering services for the party. The refreshments were delicious and well-received by both the residents and our outside guests. Mother believes that moving to The Heritage was a great decision and that she is happier and healthier since her move.

Ive been coming to the Heritage since 2012 and it always feels like home! Its a big community but still has that cozy feel. Christina is the biggest cheerleader, whether its a senior event, a new resident or just a Monday .... she is very energetic and cares about everyone who walks in.

We love The Heritage. Everyone is caring and kind. Christina and Calvin have both bent over backwards trying to make everything easier for us. Love these people.....by the way, our dog went with us to visit Mom and he loved it too!

On August 16, I was 82 years old. I have lived at The Heritage since January 2019. I left my home in the country, where I lived alone, when I broke my ankle. After surgery and a month long with pneumonia, my daughter and I realized that I could no longer live alone and needed to be closer to her. After several tries, she found a home for me at The Heritage. When I say home, I really mean HOME! I live in a small apartment that is simple for me and conveniently planned so that my window looks over a lovely courtyard that I enjoy very much. We have an activity room that is always available for games, and exercising and other planned activities to enjoy. The library has many interesting books and novels. Something for everyone, so just take your pick. The food is great. Our chef is always ready to take suggestions about dishes and offers a catering service for special occasions we want to enjoy with our family and friends. The A+ thing about the Heritage is the STAFF. They always have a smile and a good word for us all. If we have a problem of any kind, it is handled promptly and cheerfully. I really love the people here, it is like having a large family. I am happy at The Heritage. It truly is home for me. The Staff is understanding and kind. They jump right in to help when you need it or let you do it yourself if you can. In closing, for me there is no place as great as The Heritage. They have made my life fun and I truly feel the loving care that this home and family give me each day. Thanks to The Heritage and the Staff here, I am content in a loving home in my older years. I appreciate you each and everyday.

Our Mom moved in last Christmas and she is very Happy, it did take little while to adjust. There are lots of Activities going on, Mom likes the Card games. She is also in group that plays Bridge twice a week. I like that everyone is Certified with CNA and there is LVN Nurse available 24 hrs. Food is good, I eat there often. I think the Heritage is kept clean & smells good. I recommend.

They have been kind and attentive to my parent. The maintenance man has been very quick and generous with his help. Lots of encouragement and assistance for me as I assist my parent also.
