I moved my 89-year-old mother from an Atria property in California to Texas to be near me - however, I initially didnt choose Atria as it was much farther of a drive for me to visit her. BIG MISTAKE! Six months and many horror stories later we moved her into Atria Cypresswood and it has been a huge blessing! Not only are all the staff outstanding and extremely engaging with the residents, but the facility itself is very clean and well kept. My mother is in LG (Memory Care) and they take such good care of the residents with a great team of caregivers and med techs. And I cant leave out the activities group - they have so much fun with the residents, get them involved and active and plan great activities and outings! I know my mother is very well cared for here and for that I am extremely grateful.

Very nice home, it’s well staffed, my mother was pleased with the facility, but chose another one because of the size of the rooms available at the time. She chose another home in Houston closer to my brother and sister-in-law. Which turned out to be a better location because the Atria flooded twice and the residents had to be moved out by boats and the building had to be rebuilt from the flooding two different times. This would’ve upset her. One time would be one thing, but two times. They should not have reopened as a assisted living for older people.

My grandmother moved into this community almost two year ago, and during the pandemic their love and care for the residence has not ceased. It is a testimony to the hard work and dedication that not one resident was infected by the covid 19 virus. I appreciate all they do daily. Also the management team are hard working and really do care about the well being of their residents and they really go above and beyond. My family and I thank you for taking such good care of her.

Atria Cypresswood has been a blessing for my family. My mother moved in a year ago and was at a place with her health issues that we didnt know how long shed be with us. After a year she is doing so well that she is able to move into an independent living apartment! The only downside is leaving behind the amazing staff and friends shes made while living there. It is a place Id highly recommend!

My Aunt lives at Atria Cypresswood and I am so glad we found this wonderful place. She had recently been released from the hospital and we were unable to care for her as we all work full time. We met with the sales lady, Sherri. She was very responsive and helped us with the move in process. I am so glad we made the move things are going great and my Aunt loves all of the other residents she has made more friends this last 6 months than she has in years. The staff have been very kind and attentive to her care needs. Thanks for keeping her safe.

Great place and very clean. Friendly staff who seem to always alert with the residents. Very grateful they were proactive day 1 upon putting in place COVID-19 precautions and guidelines. I wish it was a little larger with more activity rooms to encourage the residents to socialize.

Highly recommend the Atria at Cypresswood! They always have fun events for the residents and make the residents feel at home. Today we got to play Bingo with some of the residents and had lunch with them as well! Such sweet employees who care about each person living there. We will be back for more fun!

My wife and I searched numerous assisted living centers when we were looking for a place for Mom and Dad because Mom needed assisted living. Atria Cypresswood was the very first place we tried thanks to a recommendation from A Place for Mom. We were so impressed with the facility and the staff that we should have quit looking at that point but, not knowing any better and thinking we could not have found the best place on the very first try, we looked at several more facilities. We eventually realized that nothing we had seen was as good as the first place we had seen and we moved Mom and Dad in February 28, 2017. There has been a lot that transpired since with the passing of my Mom and Hurricane Harvey but we have never wavered from our decision that we made the right choice. The staff are so nice and caring and their interaction with the residents is a joy to behold. The evacuation during Hurricane Harvey was well planned and executed and we were so impressed. We have recommended Atria Cypresswood on numerous occasions and will continue to do so.

Atria Cypresswood is an outstanding community where my father lives. Their assistance living and Memory Care are excellent. He loves it there. The facility is beautiful and very clean. The staff is exceptional. Food is really good. If your looking for a place for a love one this is it. Kind and caring environment They go out of the way to make Atria a home for all residents. Never have I seen a resident or staff member that was unhappy or not pleasant. The administration goes out of their way to accommodate our request. The nurse Joy has gone beyond the call of duty. She is always hands on and available. My father now has dementia and he lives in their memory care. The staff is outstanding in memory care also. I just cant express my thankfulness towards everyone at Atria Cypresswood. Lisa E.

Atria Cypresswood was very nice. They didn't have availability at the time that we looked at it, which was part of the reason we didn't choose it. Also, it was somewhat larger and we were trying to find a facility that's smaller. The dining area as well as the snack area were visually very appealing. Their rooms were very nice and clean. I had a friend whose mother was there, which was one of the reasons I looked there and she was very happy. It was larger and a little more confusing for someone with memory problems though. They had a visiting choir in the lobby singing for them, which was quite nice.

I really liked Atria. Everyone was really friendly there, and it was a smaller community. I had a very good tour, and they gave me a couple of jars of jam that their chef made. It was a very nice community, but the room sizes were smaller, and the prices were higher. I wouldn't have any problem putting my mom there.

My husband has already moved in to Atria Cypresswood, and so far we've had a very good experience. When we moved him in the administrator and the nurse evaluated the shower in the particular room that we had chosen, and was available at the time. They felt that it was not a safe way for him to shower. He needed one where he could wheel the chair in to the shower, and so we moved him again to another room. It's a lovely place with lovely decoration. It's clean, and the people are nice. However, most of the time you can't find the administrator. The dining room is nice, set up well, and looks pleasant. One time I was there, they were having bingo. They also have a Black Jack table, a pool table, card games, all kinds of board games, and they have a couple of common areas for watching TV.

Atria Cypresswood had a few activities. The food was better. They had the same cook the whole time mother was there. The dining room was very nice. They tried to include the families a lot in doing things. The room was extremely small. It was expensive. Most of the aides were very nice there. The place was not so wonderful. The nurse that was on-call was awful. The social director was great.

I visited the Atria, which is 2 blocks from my house. It seemed to be OK, a little expensive. They have assisted living, but the memory care is rather small. It didn't appeal to me. It looked clean, just by looking at it. The staff was very courteous, very nice. As a matter of fact, they gave us a pie when we left. They were very friendly. They just seemed to want to show us everything.

Atria was the only facility I visited. It was very pretty and very upscale. For my mother, her feedback was that it was too formal for her. She wanted something a little more homey and a little more inviting and a little less like a cruise ship. Those were her words. I didn't eat there, but my mother did, and she said it was quite good. She was very happy with it. She thought the rooms were small. I remember they were talking about arranging trips, shopping, and various things like that. However, we didn't spend much time because she thought it was too formal for her. She wanted something more homey.

We visited the Atria Cypresswood assisted living facility while searching for a place for my brother's friend to live in the region. The outside resembled a Southern country palatial estate and was very nicely maintained. The large, wide porch had plenty of seating for residents and guests to enjoy. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and offered easy access for residents, where they could enjoy walking around freely safely each day. The foyer was fresh and bright with very nice decorations and furniture. All of the indoor rooms had plenty of fresh air and light throughout. Each room was beautifully decorated and furnished. The colors throughout the building were calming and comfortable. The dining room was quite nice, with plenty of space and the meals we saw looked and smelled delicious. The menus all had healthy food options for all kinds of diets. Healthy snacks are offered all day and into the evening, as well as whenever residents request them. The seniors can easily socialize, make crafts, play games, watch TV and films and participate in many stimulating activities throughout the facility. The facility can accommodate all levels of ambulation. Communal activity rooms were spacious, with very comfortable furniture. All residents are encouraged to enhance their skills and cultivate new interests. All of the private living spaces had a great deal of natural light and fresh air with very comfortable furniture and plenty of space in nicely decorated surroundings. Residents can use the exercise room as well as go on daily walks, given the mild weather. Aerobics and yoga classes are also offered. The residents are also taken on many trips to visit nearby Houston and the surrounding areas to visit art galleries and museums, eat at casual and fine restaurants and enjoy the many other cultural entertainment. The residents here looked very content in their living environment and were well cared for by kind and considerate staff.

My visit to Atria Senior Living in Spring, TX was a positive experience. When I first arrived I was greeted by several friendly staff members. I could immediately see that there were several activities and events for the senior residents to participate in. For example, there was a poster on one of the walls for an upcoming themed dance party that the facility was holding for the residents. The facility was very clean and it seemed relatively modern yet homey compared to other assisted living homes I had visited in the past. There was no visible dirt or signs of neglect that I could see. The staff was particularly attentive and it seemed that they were very passionate about their jobs. I could really tell that they cared about the well being of their residents. When I visited with some of the senior residents they spoke of all the friends that they have made while they have been living at Atria.
