This community looks amazing! My mother is "shopping" for a potential independent living option in San Antonio. We scheduled a tour and discussion with Alison, and were delighted with the cafeteria and menu options, amenities, activities, various room size and layouts and cottage options. Throughout the tour, we were greeted by many friendly and happy staff and tenants. Alison was an absolute pleasure and definitely understands customer service and catering her tours and sales pitch to potential tenants. My mother is still deciding on next steps, but according to her, Villa De San Antonio is at the top of her list. Thanks for a great tour, Villa, and big thanks to Alison for her kind and warm demeanor with my mom!

Very nice senior facility. I did a recent show there, and when I'm ready to settle down I'm considering this place. Friendly staff, lots of amenities, close to a lot of fun things to do in town.

Words cannot express my gratitude to the excellent staff here. I cannot imagine feeling that my mother is in no safer hands than those of the workers at this facility. They are truly a blessing and I know they love my mom by the way they take such good care of her.

We moved to the Villa in June of 2023. We have loved every minute here. We are treated with love, respect, kindness, from the staff. The best food ever is served here. The entire kitchen staff whips up more delicious dishes and variety of dishes in a day, than I could do in a week or more . They will stop and make other dishes that are on a separate menu for those wanting something different. We made the right choice moving here

The food here at Villa de San Antonio is great! All the dining room staff are very attentive to the needs of us senior citizens. Especially important to me is the fact that in addition to the daily 5-course menu, we may substitute from a large variety of offerings from the "always available" side of the menu, making it easy to avoid salty and sugary foods and adhere to the special food restrictions so many of us have. Or to say what the heck "I am going to splurge today". Also, the main courses have minimal sodium added. They make it easy to eat healthy. The Sunday brunch and the holiday meals allow us to treat our families and friends to a festive meal AND no cooking!!!!! Thanks to all the staff who help to make Villa de San Antonio feel like home.

Every meal at the Villa is special. Always a choice of soup, salad three entrees, 4 sides, rolls, beverage, and dessert. Food is delicious, service is excellent and ambiance is delightful. In addition all day dining is available from 11 a.m.- 7 p.m. What more could you ask for?

While I am only here a short time, the dining experience at Villa de San Antonio is superb. The menu is great with many options, the food is delicious and beautifully seasoned, the waiters are excellent and so accommodating and gracious, and the food is always served with a smile! The Dining Room at the Villa is one of the best things about living here! Chef John Zachary works hard to keep daily menu offerings interesting and delicious. The variety of choices is endless. And if you want something else, there is a menu of "constants" that are available every day that are always delicious. The highlight of the week is Sunday brunch, with eggs made to order, breakfast meats, hash browns, cheese blintzes, biscuits and gravy, and dinner entrees with veggies and potatoes or rice. There's something delicious for everyone here!

The dining room is aesthetically pleasing with table linens and fresh flowers on every table. Consistent mid-level lighting is well accepted. The Hostess, Katrina is at the podium to meet, greet and seat. There is no assigned seating. The residents like it that way. The menu is a masterpiece of offerings. From a choice of 3 daily entrees of pork, foul, fish or beef. A special sandwich and salad are featured on the menu each week. Foods representing various countries have their own specialties listed on their assigned day. The "Soup Lady" is popular due to the large selection of her delicious soups made fresh every day. The desserts choice ranges from pie, ice cream, churros, bread pudding, cake, berries Romanoff, and Tiramisu. The term "Left side of the Menu" is the brainchild of John Zachary, Director of Villa Food Services for over a decade. It is well known that it takes a village to raise a child. It takes a very competent kitchen and dining room staff to serve up a good meal. This is what we have here at Villa de San Antonio. Delicious choice What a surprise to have excellent meals at a beautiful senior living community of over 200 people as though each one was specifically catered to my tastes! Yesterday was day #1 of our move-in. The entire staff and residents have treated my wife and I as if we were secretly announced royalty. I was gobsmacked to say the least. We were immediately accepted as family. As Bogart famously said (perhaps paraphrasing) at the end of 'Casablanca', "Louis? this looks like the beginning of a great friendship..."

I moved here in May 2022. The people that live here and all the staff are kind and patient. The staff is knowledgeable and always ready to help whoever needs them. Oh yes, the food is GREAT!! The menu gives a wide variety of items to choose from. There is a wide variety of actives, from playing cards to physical fitness classes. Don't drive anymore? There is free bus service! The rent is reasonable, no hidden fees. But best of all, there is a beautiful St. Anthony chapel, with Mass most days and Protestant services on Sunday, plus Bible study classes during the week. Come on out and take the tour; you will be surprised as you check out the different kinds of apartments. All are very comfortable, and you will find one that fits your needs.
