The residents staying with us love the support and help they get while also enjoying their privacy. Seniors have their choice of studio, 1 or 2 bedroom units. Apartments with private baths and kitchenettes are also available. The staff is some of the best in San Antonio, they're always available to help with any level of services our residents need. We can assist with medical reminders to designing exercise programs and scheduling entertainment events. We designed the dining area at Parkway Senior Living to be a cozy, home style setting for our residents and family members. Our specialty is customized menus that provide delicious, home cooked meals that meet the needs of all residents.

I cannot say enough good things about Jose, Sylvia and the Parkway Assisted Living Staff. They all go above and beyond to ensure the health and happiness of all their residents. Great facility, locally owned, always clean. Great staff- high care ratio. Jose Mendoza and his wife Silvia - owners have a heart of GOLD. They. truly care about their residents. I was there today for almost two hours. We saw 6 Parkway Assisted Living care givers on the floor- providing direct care. Thank you for the work you do, for your heart, for always caring and going above and beyond. I have known the owners for over two years. I am impressed with the care every time I walk in. My mom lived at Parkway Assisted living and was always respected and heard. And that treatment was the the same for her family as well. We were always listened to what we had to say. Sylvia, the administrator, is a great, kind and compassionate person. She and her staff did the very best they could for my mom. The facilities has large rooms and are very accommodating. We were allowed to set up my moms room to make it homey. This was such a blessing to have found this home. From the staff to the nurses to the home cooked meals to the rooms.... I cannot say enough good things. Im so glad that the last months of her life was in a place where people cared for her around the clock. And where we were comfortable with. What everyone needs to keep in mind, no place can replace our own home, but Parkway is the best place next to home.

Wow! After being a resident now for six months, I have experienced first hand the top-to-bottom qualities that make this an assisted living facility like no others. Absolutely the place to go for families and their loved ones! From safety and security to cleanliness, to individualized care and attention to personal medication management to staff-assisted showers to personal laundry and linen services to nutritional and delicious meals. On top of those things, the care, concern and love expressed to each and all residents by owners Jose and Sylvia Mendoza are genuine and 24, 7, 365! I have felt all that from Day 1, and if I needed care for my mom or dad, Parkway would be my first and only choice!!

A five star review for Parkway falls way short of how our family really rates this facility, its owners Sylvia & Jose Mendoza and the staff both past & present. Our mother spent the last 14 months of her life at Parkway and she couldnt have been in a better place. Their residents enjoy home cooked meals, occasional Friday night pizza, bar-b-que cookouts & pic-nic lunches outside in the comfortable patio setting. Everyone at Parkway called our mother Mamma and treated her like she was their own mother or family member. They spoiled her everyday. From a Sunday morning Barbacoa taco with her coffee to Pan Dulce, fruit cups or candy anytime she craved something sweet between meals. Mom was treated with true love and genuine compassion. Our family will be forever greatful to everyone at Parkway for the wonderful care they gave our mother and the peace of mind they gave to the family.

This facility and its staff are amazing! The facility is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The residents rooms are large, and the dining room and living areas are gorgeous and very homey. The outdoor area has something for all family members to enjoy while visiting. Our mother was treated like a queen by the staff as well as by owners Jose and Sylvia Mendoza and she loved them all. They always went above and beyond to ensure she was happy and had everything she needed and wanted. During this pandemic, Jose and Sylvias priority has been the health and safety of all the residents. It was very comforting to know our mother was safe and that every precaution was being taken to ensure her safety and the safety of all the residents. The Mendozas were always very accessible to us and quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had concerning our mother. We are so happy that we found Parkway for our mother. She was happy, well cared for, and loved right up to the time she died. Our family is forever greatful to the Mendozas and the staff at Parkway Assisted Living. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a family oriented facility that provides quality care to its residents and comfort and assurance to their family members.

My mother was a resident at Parkway for about a year and 1, 2 - the center was beautiful, always clean and wonderful. She was always smiling, always happy and they took very good care of her. The staff was excellent- the owners Mr. and Mrs. Mendoza were the best. I would say thank you everyday for them and their care of my mom Our family will always be indebted to Parkway for their loving, kind and special care. no other place can ever come close to the great care my mom received while at Parkway. Family opened and operated, the owners are so sweet. My grandmother requested to tour and see this place, this is my grandmothers first year here and she loves it. She says they treat her like family, Ive seen the owner and safe do amazing work. Ive seen how they bring my grandmother breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. Ive made over a dozen surprise visits and shes always enjoying her time there. It makes me so happy to see shes truly happy. Love this place and the staff, check it out !

We placed my father at Parkway after he experienced a rapid decline in health. While my father had issues with adjusting to a new environment and communicating his needs, Jose, Sylvia, and staff exhibited great care and compassion with my fathers care. They went well above and beyond my expectations for an assisted living facility and provided greater care and attention than the skilled-nursing home rehabilitation center my father used during his initial recovery and diagnosis. In addition to Parkways wonderful staff and service, the facility is top notch. Parkway is just over a year old with all of the modern conveniences. The rooms are significantly larger than comparable assisted living centers. I would highly recommend for everyone to put Parkway at the top of their list if they are seeking to place a family member in a first class facility.

Parkway Assisted Living is by far the best facility in San Antonio. My mother in law spent her last months here and we couldnt have been more pleased. The staff treated her like a member of their family. It is an extremely clean facility and you dont smell urine like you do at so many other facilities. Our family cannot thank the owners and staff enough for the love and care they extended to our mom.
