When my sister and I wasn’t sure how to go about finding a place for my Mom, a Dementia specialist asked questions and help guide our decision. It was the hardest thing I’ve done but yet rewarding under the circumstances to see my Mom thriving, worry free, and being taken care of. The accommodations are great, and the safety is the staff’s first priority! My Mom consistently tells me how much she loves the staff and the food, and her little space. Thankful for the staff at this facility and the care they provide to my Mom.

My friend was here and received excellent care. Brookdale is trained on dealing with memory care residents and it shows. The director , Lola was a joy to work with.

My mom has been here over a year. This is a perfect place for her. The staff is wonderful. I am thankful to have found this facility for her. Any minor issues that may arise are taken care of in a very timely manner. The facility is always clean and smells fresh.

My uncle was a resident at Brookdale Nacogdoches for a many years and was always in good hands with their staff. As a veteran, he was ALWAYS treated with dignity and respect and even had his photo framed on the Veteran wall, in honor of his service. As his health began to decline, the staff made the necessary adjustments to provide him with the assistance that he needed when it mattered most. Everyone was wonderful in his final moments and I’m so grateful for their care.

This facility is one of the cleanest and friendly facilities I have been in , in a long time . They are so caring to their patients. I’d recommend them 10/10 with my family

Brookdale Nacogdoches has been a blessing for my family. My mom has been there for almost 2 months and the love and care she is shown every day touches my heart. They are kind, compassionate, and care for her like she was their own. We have cameras in her room and it warms my heart to see the interaction between my mom and her caregivers. She is fed nutritious meals and snacks and her room is always clean. It is the interaction with the residents that all of the staff of Brookdale have that truly makes it shine.

Thank God for putting Brookdale Nacogdoches in my path for my mom's care. We have been there 2 years now. I had visited 2 facilities prior to selecting Brookdale, one 2 blocks from my house, another 2 miles from my house. Brookdale was 7 miles away, but when I heard that they ran the Claire Bridge program, it was a no brainer. They keep my mom clean, safe, and engaged all day thanks to the caregivers and staff. Small community that specializes in Alzheimer's/Dementia care only. That was a huge PLUS! Have met some true friends from the Family Support Group meeting held once a month to share concerns and other stories about our loved ones. Clean facility and great food. A true extended family!

My mom came from another memory care center. The care and compassion she now receives at Brookdale Nacogdoches far surpasses the former place. Everytime I visit the community is gathered together bowling, singing, playing trivia, etc. I'm so glad we moved mom.

The activities employees are their greatest asset. They are caring, kind and friendly and always have a smile and cheer for you and the residents. They provide activities, arts, crafts, musical performances, games and daily exercise for the mind and body. However, the place in incredibly dirty, absolutely nasty. If your loved one is incontinent, don't go there. If they can clean up after themselves, then they may enjoy all the pluses. If unable to clean up after themselves, they will live in filth.

Lola was fantastic to work with and made everything so easy! Would definitely would recommend her to others.

We have our 92 year old mother living here. We were very picky and took many months to decide where she should move to when the time came that she could no longer be in her own home for her safety. Brookdale Naco passed every test we had in place from size and safety of facility to the "sniff" test to knowledge and friendliness of the staff. Not only are we greeted with a hello each and everytime they know exactly where we will find our mother and what kind of mood she will be in for the day. They keep track of the residents and keep a very watchful eye on them at all times. Our mother has made many friends there both staff and fellow residents. She seems to enjoy her time here. We are very pleased with our choice and would gladly recommend Brookdale Naco to friends and family.

the Staff and others are always very kind and respectful. Mom has been happier here than previous residences. Love the people who make Brookdale what it is. Helping us deal with the problems Dementia creates with an understanding I haven't experienced anywhere else.

I cannot personally say that I have resided or have had a loved one reside at Brookdale but I am their neighbor in the subdivision behind the facility and they have always been so kind and helpful. They take care of their grounds and even helped me with some questions when my husband and I first bought the home last year. The staff is helpful and kind and they care about their property that’s for sure. Thank you to Brookdale for being great neighbors.

Smaller facility. Kept very clean. Attentive staff. Fixed charges as well as care charges based on need which is very fair. Good food. Many activities for residents. Lots of celebrations to keep residents active and happy. Many family activities too.

Brookdale Nacogdoches provides a pleasant, welcoming environment. I was impressed with the cleanliness, and the caring attitudes of the staff which gave me an overwhelming sense of comfort that I know my dad would enjoy. When it comes time for me to make this kind of move for my dad, I will definitely consider Brookdale first.

CARING FOR MY LOVING WIFE After leaving rehab six months ago, I could not have been more pleased and blessed to find a senior care living center for my wife other than Brookdale Nacogdoches. I felt that my prayers had been answered. Upon arrival, it seemed as if the red carpet had been laid out for her. The staff were very friendly, already treating her like an existing family member. They provided breakfast that morning, took her to shower and got her hair washed. She was all smiles afterwards. After six months, my confidence in Brookdale continues to be strong, observing the skill level staff members demonstrate as they perform their various duties. Rooms and hallways are kept very neat and clean. In the dining room for example, it continues to please me watching the staff taking pride in going about their duties, especially by helping those needing assistance with their meals. Activities are well developed and presented to stimulate interest and memories each day. Informative family support meetings are held once a month keeping connections alive regarding any issues and past experiences. In addition, military veterans are supported and recognized in a special way on a wall of honor. The staff does a professional job seeing that residents are being well treated and cared for in a compassionate manner. In my overall opinion, this is a well-managed and supervised operation. Thank you, Brookdale Nacogdoches, for all that you do!

My mother has mid to late stage dementia and needed assisted living. She was very upset about it until she walked into Brookdale Nacogdoches for a tour. Olivia and the other staff members were great and so we the facilities. Mom was excited to move in! Of course, by the time we moved her in, she did not remember, but the staff, especially Kendy and Olivia made Mom very comfortable. This was one of the best places we toured, and I am confident my mother will be very happy and well-cared for there.

My father has been at Brookdale Nacogdoches since Thanksgiving and words cannot express how grateful we are to have found this place that is like home for my Dad. The rooms are spacious and clean. The food is good. We highly appreciate how caring the staff is.

My mother has resided at this community for over three years. During this time, she has done well despite her Alzheimers . I believe it is due to the staff's loving and caring attitude for all of the residents. The staff keeps the residents very busy with mind stimulating activities and the residents are always treated with respect. Brookdale Nacogdoches is small so it is more than a community; it is a family. Family members are always encouraged to attend and participate in activities with their loved ones, and get to know other families and residents. There is a Family Support Group that meets once a month in order for family members to meet other families, talk to others who are experiencing the same difficulties dealing with loved ones suffering from memory issues, and learn from knowledgeable people about memory care. Before his passing, we also had my father-in-law at this facility for over a year because of the loving care the staff gives. I would recommend this facility to anyone considering memory care for a loved one.

My mother in law has been with Brookdale Nacogdoches since 2013. The staff treats her with respect and gives her the care she deserves. They have taken the burden of worrying that she is being treated very well. The price and accomodations are wonderful. I would recommend Brookdale Nacogdoches 100 % in taking care of your loved one.
June 2017
My Dad has called this home now for ten months. I visit him there three times weekly. He tells me each time "there is no other place I'd rather be". In the time he has been there, I've never worried about his well-being. Brookdale makes sure his needs are met, and they go above and beyond trying to accommodate his "wants". It has been my experience that management will work with you on whatever might come up. The staff genuinely does CARE for your family. They have something almost every hour of the day to exercise their mind or body. Your loved one will be safe and secure. If you are like me you will rest easier, and sleep better, knowing they are in good hands.
