My mother was a resident here for 3 weeks in May 2018. Within those three weeks, they transported my mom 2 times to the ER for her agitation, instead of re-directing her. She was in the middle stages of Alzheimers. It was a terrible move for us. I moved her to a different facility within a month that knew how to work with Alzheimer's residents without doping them up on Haldol. I would not recommend this facility to anyone unless they have completely changed the way they do things in the past 5 years.

I cant say enough about the way the people living at Autumn Grove Stone Oak are treated. The staff treats everyone as if they are family. My grandma has been a resident for three years and enjoyed playing games, listening to guest musicians and participating in other fun activities. Now that she is no longer in that stage, I pop in and out and often find a worker sitting holding her hand if she is having a difficult day. The love and care provided is evident and greatly appreciated. If I ever need such care, I hope my loved ones will place me in the loving care of Autumn Grove Stone Oak.

I have just visited with some very satisfied family members. They are truly the barometer of how well the Autumn Grove residents are cared for. According to them, this is the memory care community if youre looking for home-cooked meals (including your loved ones favorite recipes!) prepared before your eyes, incredible staff to resident ratio, compassionate staff with hearts as big as Texas! This is not a job for the staff.....its a calling-ministry. Beautiful cottage.

After five years of caring for mom at home we were forced to find a care facility for her as we were no longer able to provide the level of care she deserved. We searched and searched and found everyone living at Autumn Grove Stone Oak to be happy, well cared for and in receipt of personal attention. We could not be happier with the personal care and love. I have friends whos loved ones are at other facilities and sadly, they have had bed sores and other issues. We have had no such issues. The staff goes the extra mile to make residents feel loved and special. It might be holding his or her hand during a movie or rubbing lotion into their hands and arms. It may be painting nails or helping the ladies feel pretty before loved ones arrive or putting on a favorite cd to lift the mood. Residence are treated with love, respect and dignity. I highly recommend Autumn Grove Stone Oak.
