I visited several ALF's in the area with my Mom. Both her and I chose The Rose at Round Rock. She had been living on her own until about 5 months ago. I really thought I would have a difficult time getting her to move into an ALF, but she did it. The staff at all levels have been extremely friendly and so helpful. I appreciate all they have been doing for my Mom. She really likes it there. Enjoys the food and sitting by the warm fireplace in the lobby. I'm trying to get my Mom to get more involved with the activities at The Rose. They have a nice selection and I see other residents having a good time. My Mom was recently at a SNF and all she wanted to do was to go 'home' back to The Rose. That made me feel good knowing she was missing where I had moved her to. Request a tour of the facility and check it out. There is some remodeling taking place, so know this is just temporary.

I highly recommend the rose for your loved one. It has been an amazing place. They care for the residents and are invested in taking care of your loved one. You could not ask for a better place. Shallan, the Executive Director, is committed to taking care of the residents as well as the staff. I have seen her in action with both and clearly she is remarkable. She can be reached 24/7...on her personal cell phone.... that is going above and beyond. Anytime I have had to call her if she doesn't answer and I have to leave a message she always returns my call promptly. I can't say enough good things about The Rose, I highly recommend it.

Clean, well maintained, caring staff, good food! My mom loves it!

My 94 year old mother-in-law has been a resident at The Rose for about a year and half. The experience so far has been great for her and for me. As with other similar facilities, they’ve had challenges associated with the COVID pandemic; navigating the required protocols, and dealing with staff shortages at all levels. In spite of the turnover, I’ve not had problems reaching key staff when needed, nor have I seen a lapse in service. I was particularly impressed when my MIL suffered some recent medical setbacks which required hospitalization and rehab. Upon her return, an extra dose of TLC and attention from staff has been a big part of her recovery. I’m pleased and grateful.

Unfortunately The Rose was a disappointment. Constant staff and managerial turnovers, short staffing, and lack of facility upkeep resulted in sub-level performance. Medication administration was an ongoing issue as well. There were some outstanding staff who really did care about the residents, and they were greatly appreciated! The food and activities were always good, and were the highlight. After 2 years struggling for reliable care at The Rose and yet another medication issue, we have moved and are now very satisfied to have the care and nice facilities we are paying for! Best of luck.

Realize the Rose is under new management but my parent was there 6 months and it was depressing, no communication, horrible smell. There were a few nice people but the turnover rate was crazy barely the same people there now as when we first got there. We found a better place. Would not recommend.

The Rose at Round Rock has been my Dads new home since August 2020. The staff has been so patient as at 94 the change mixed with pandemic brought numerous challenges. The communication from the top down has been wonderful. They did a wonderful job of caring for them during the recent Texas storm. Its great comfort to know my Dad is so well cared for with empathy and respect.

My wife and I have been in this facility since before it was named The Rose. We are very positive regarding the service, the setting and the staff. Management has handled Covid considerations very well in keeping all residents safe. Vaccines have already begun. We are very pleased to be here.

Brian Haddock, Executive Director, takes great pride in his community and the abilities of his staff. Resident care is their top priority. Thank you for all you do !!!
August 2019
The staff is excellent. The hardest part of a facility like this is finding & keeping caring, dedicated staff. This has been wonderfully accomplished. The infrastructure is out of the on site management control tho. Daily maintenance appears quite acceptable. I visited for a week everyday. Had meals. Interacted with residents & staff. Absolutely first class. Ownership needs to be sure building is properly maintained, ie. HVAC system (ducting, filters) & carpet maintenance. Both need attention imo but that is ownership responsibility. On site maintenance personnel are best resource for ownership to consult.

My mother was in Memory Care at WS for 5.5 years. It was a good experience for us all at every stage along the way, from very active to end of life. Her prior home situation was not good. She thrived when she moved to WSMC and started being involved in activities, receiving nutritious hot meals, and getting her meds monitored and delivered effectively. She made friends with other residents, enjoyed being out on the patio in good weather, and liked participating in the fun facility-wide activities like children trick-or-treating and the family picnic. As she declined, the support of the staff helped make sure she was safe and cared for, always out with others and engaged in the ways that she could be. I am thankful for the care she received and recommend the facility and staff. I spent a great amount of time there over those 5.5 years, and I am grateful for the efforts of facility management and staff to make my mother's last years as pleasant, fun, and nurturing as possible.

We have chosen Wyoming Springs to move our dad into and could not be happier. The staff are warm and caring and made the transition so smooth. I would call them " angels". Donna has taken time and communicated with us every step of the way. She has trained her staff well. Jennifer and Shannan are on top of things. The staff are always smiling and happy to be there. The food is great. Lydia keeps the place hopping. I can't say enough good things about Wyoming Springs. If you are looking for an Assisted Living our family says "Look no further this is the real deal".

My mother just moved in a few days ago. The staff has been very friendly and accommodating to us, as we initially moved her to AL but had to then immediately move her to memory care due to her confusion which led to wandering. The staff has been accessible, not only answering our questions, but even calling to let us know how she is doing. She is there with her dog, and the staff is even working to help care for the dog so that my mother can keep it with her.

One of the best places to work for! They are my second family for sure! ?
December 2018
My Mom has lived at Wyoming Springs Assisted living for almost 3 years and she moved over to Memory Care this past June. Shannan, the Memory Care coordinator, and her staff made every effort to see that she engage in activities and became part of the group. They are the most dedicated people you would want to care and look after your family. When I leave after a visit I feel confident my mother is cared and looked after. An example of care was a day my mom was having a difficult morning, at one point my Mom was sitting out in the common area and Shannan happened to be there. My Mom asked to hold Shannan's hand and without hesitation she sat down and held my Mom's hand. It was all about making my Mom feel safe. You can't teach this, her first concern and the concern of the others who work in MC is to make not only my Mom but all the other residents feel safe and loved. I have witnessed many little things that go unnoticed normally. The brushing of one's hair so they look nice, a quick squeeze of a hand to let them know they are ok, a smile to let them know I see you and you matter. It's listening to a resident tell a far fetched story that scares them and immediately they try to alleviate the resident's fears. When having to make the difficult decision to place your loved one in a memory care facility know that at Wyoming Springs Memory Care they will be treated like family. They are the BEST!!
December 2018
My mother has lived at Wyoming Springs for about 3 years, first in assisted living then switching to memory care earlier this year. She settled in very well from the beginning. The facility is quite nice, has good food and the 2-room apartment in the assisted living side is homey with lots of room. However, the memory care rooms are very small, with room for little furniture besides a bed and chair and a dresser. We ended up getting her a double room so she could also have a small table for doing puzzles and have two comfy chairs with a little side table so we could visit and spend time together in her room instead of out in the public area. Employees are competent & friendly. I would like to mention Tammy in particular. She is very friendly, spends extra time visiting with residents. She uses a lot of humor with the residents, which is the best way to work with my mom to persuade her to do some of the things she resists, such as baths. Overall I definitely would recommend Wyoming Springs.
December 2018
My mom is their they are taking such good care of her and the people their are so sweet I am even blessed enough to sing their every couple of weeks
December 2018
Wyoming Springs has provided outstanding care for my mother. Staff are professional, friendly and approachable. We had to arrange for a complicated move to another state for my mother and the WS staff were all over it and were very helpful throughout the process.
December 2018
We have learned that it is of real benefit for our immediate family to work along side the Wyoming family in the care of our mother. It has been a true partnership the entire time we have spent at Wyoming Springs. I respect and truly appreciate the amount of time and care it takes to run a fine facility. We have been blessed to have great management and great staff work with us.
