My mom has been in the memory care wing for about a month now. I am so pleased with the compassion and care that she has received. I pop in unannounced at least 4 or 5 days a week and always find my mom being cared for in a loving and kind way. We have a camera in her room and I love watching the interactions that the nurses and aides have with my mom. She loves it at Park Valley and I couldn’t be more impressed. She has made friends and is happy, safe and well cared for. It makes my heart happy. Thank you so much for loving my mom

I would like to applaud all the employees especially the activity department at Park Valley Inn in Round rock , TX for their outstanding programs putting in place for the residents. During my 17 years of carrying for patients and residents, i have never experiencing anything like that . The staff is truly great With their expertise, and creating amazing activities for the residents. Been older and not able to be independent doesn't mean you can not have fun and enjoying life. My mother needed to be admitted to a skilled nursing facility following surgery from a complicated pelvic fracture. We toured numerous facilities and chose Park Valley Inn due to its warm feel and myself personally knowing one of the therapy staff members. I worked in SNFs as a PT for numerous years but I was now on the other side of it having to leave a loved one under the care of others. Park Valley Inn surpassed my family’s expectations in all areas. All of the staff members were very friendly and attentive to my mother’s needs. The therapy team was very knowledgeable allowing my mother to reach her physical and functional status in order to return home in record time especially considering the type of surgery she had and her also having a history of Parkinson’s Disease. Overall, our family was extremely pleased with the care she received at PVI and we would highly recommend this facility for skilled nursing and rehab care.

My Mother has been in the facility for almost 2 years and the food has been so terrible at times that she will not eat it I have seen the trays and the sides and meat can look disgusting. One of the aides said she constantly bring this up in the staff meetings as She is seeing lots of food left and going in the trash. Such a waste and all some of the residents look forward to is the meals coming. It is quite shamefull and things need to change. The residents deserve better in their final days. My Mother does not have all her teeth and she can't chew things and the Dietician need to make adjustments.

This place is pretty good but could be a LOT better! You will be almost always unable to get a hold of your loved one. Apparently, the management hasn’t put enough effort into teaching the staff how to answer the new phone system. The only two gals that answer the phones are the gals at the front desk when you enter the building. Katlin and Sylvia. There’s only about 4 good nurses left there and a couple of awesome CNA’s. The management keeps letting the good ones go and keeping the ones with bad attitudes. Don’t get me wrong, I like this place and my mom likes it, but they need new management. I could go on and on, but I won’t. Good luck.

My mom is in the Memory Care Unit at PVI. With the type and level of dementia my mom has, keeping her engaged in activities is key to her mental well-being. Lupita does an awesome job of coordinating activities and engaging all residents. She is very caring, patient, and kind. My mom spent a week there in rehab and we were so happy with the quality of care and friendliness of the staff. The rooms and shared spaces were well cared for and clean. There were numerous daily activities for those who wanted to participate and nice spaces for socializing. There were many people involved in my mom's care and they were all well coordinate. They really listened to what she, my sister and I asked for and worked hard to accommodate us. She is returning there again and will be making a permanent transition there after rehab. It is a great comfort to know that she will be in good hands. Choosing who will be caring for your loved ones is such a difficult decision and I highly recommend you consider Park Valley Inn Health Care for that next step in their life.

I previously had my parent at another facility that was poorly ran. We are very lucky to have been able to transfer him to Park Valley Inn. The staff in the memory center are trained to deal with Alzheimer’s / Dementia patients and they always have a nurse present. Administration team are welcoming and responsive. Wish all nursing homes could be like this.

This is a long over due review. I am so happy we chose Park Valley for my mother's care. From the first meeting with the Staff, to today more than 6 months later, I can't say enough about how pleased I am with every interaction I've had here. I know my mother is under very good care here. I knew nothing of Medicare and Medicaid. The team here walked me through the process of moving my mother from Medicare to Medicaid and getting her moved in and approved seamlessly. From the executive team of Jasmine, Tamika, and Dee, to the nursing staff, PT team, and activities directors, all the way to the cooking staff, cleaning team, and facilities personnel, EVERYONE here is professional, courteous, and prompt with everything we have thrown at them (sometimes even literally with my mother ;-). My mother isn't always the most agreeable person, but everyone here works with her and comes up with creative solutions to getter her to take meds, eat meals, do PT, interact with staff and other residents, etc. Every time we come to visit my mother, or take her out to dinner, we are always greeted by staff and residents with smiles and cheerful greetings. It is obvious that everyone here is dedicated and wants to be here. I just hope when I reach my mothers age my children are able to find a place for me just like Park Valley Inn!!

This has been my home since May 2021, and I can personally say that I feel that is this our golden years. My husband and I feel relaxed, and feel at home. She leads a very active social life and enjoys the many activities offered. I live near by and visit often, Park Valley is always clean, has recently been updated and there is a beautiful garden area to enjoy. Upon choosing to discharge my daughter from another facility, I am on cloud nine. Times are tough nationally in the health care world and long term nursing facilities are really suffering. The Corporation has put strategies in place to hire and retain staff. I was shocked by many things. First, everyone is so nice and welcoming. This is important as our loved ones pick up on negativity as well as the good. Second the facility is bright, clean and contains equipment staff need to do their job! Hoyer s, sleeves you name it this facility has it. Third the food is bright and lovely. The facility attach a paper which details the food your loved one is eating. With pur©ed food this is a little thing, but a lovely touch. Fourth, I visited my disabled daughter and she was showered, up in her wheelchair and had on matching clothes(this is important because it shows people care). The Administration are lovely and upon completing Her Circle of Care meeting, a plan and unified focus were in place. Circle of Care, how comforting. This company is investing in their community. I am so grateful to Erin, the DON and all the medical staff. Mackenzie, the admissions person beams light. Lesson learned, yes it’s tough out there, but you don’t have to settle for good enough or mediocre. Give it a look see, I bet it is beautiful in the Spring. A weight is lifted off me and my precious girl is home.
