This place is truly wonderful! We moved my mother here a few months ago, and she has never been happier. The d©cor is modern, fresh, and welcoming. According to my mom, the food is delicious, and every staff member we’ve met has been incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful. Doug, the manager, deserves special recognition. He is one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet and genuinely cares about making this a wonderful place for residents to call home. His compassion and dedication are evident in everything he does. I’m so grateful we found this community. Knowing my mom is happy, well cared for, and surrounded by such wonderful people gives our family tremendous peace of mind.

The facility is very clean and smells nice. The food/ kitchen needs help. The food is consistently served cold, even after complaints. On the 1st day of Hanukkah they served pork. Clearly no awareness or respect for the many Jewish residents. Many of the residents are diabetic and have no options other than to receive carbohydrate heavy meals

My Mom moved in after a few falls and clear indications that she had not been eating well or drinking enough water as well as generally being depressed and lonely. When we did the tour the staff knew her birhtday was coming up and they surprised her with flowers and a cake! Its been only about 3 weeks now and we can see a huge difference in my Mom's social activity, attitude and gneral strength due to eating properly with the fantasic meals provided on site. When I pop in for a visit she is almost always doing an activity; chair volleyball, excersice class, listening to live music etc. Great place so far. Was a difficult decision to move her here, but I see now it was absolutely the right one. Thanks for providing such a great place for our loved ones.

My Brother just moved in here. He and his Wife are happy with the schedule. It's close to their house in Pflugerville that they are planning to sell so this is a good transition place.

My Father in Law moved into Parkwood Meadows a few months ago. He's enjoying his stay there very much. The staff are, generally, very friendly and helpful. One staff member who serves up the meals is abrupt and rude at times, dad says she's like that with everyone 🙁 They are short staffed, like a lot of businesses, but they don't really pay well so, catch 22 The meals are decent, the small exercise area adequate, the library has plenty of books and most of the residents are friendly. I am concerned and confused as to how a homeless person was able to take up residency without anyone noticing until items had been stolen from a few rooms.

I used to perform for the clients and once they switched activity directors, everything changed. I have NEVER had to wait over 30 days to receive payment, most likely because the activity director would not follow up with me and I have had to contact them numerous times trying to get my check. This time, she gave me a phone number to a third party company when I asked for the corporate number. I sat on the phone with them for 45 minutes only to find that they couldn't help me. I then called Jeannette to explain and ask what was going on, and then she hung up on me. Terrible customer service. I can't imagine how she treats the clients when no one is around. I have been singing in retire communities for over 15 years and have never been treated with such disrespect.

Wonderful folks, nice-sized rooms. Suggest possibility of garage rental or workshop rental, perhaps storage units. I'm finding it nearly impossible to winnow a lifetime of accumulations into a small space. The person who showed me around was fabulous - couldn't have been more kind and helpful. You have a very special place.

Omg love this independent living senior care facility. Visited many & nothing compares to this wonderful, caring & clean place! Staff is helpful, attentive & very friendly. The chefs are outstanding & the food here is absolutely amazing so just bring your mom & dad & i promise u won't be disappointed°

Needs a little remodeling, and it desperately needs a separate laundry facility for the housekeepers, but it's a good place for my elderly father. Nice apartment, beautiful grounds. Three meals a day, weekly housekeeping, all bills paid, and most importantly - very reasonably priced.

My mom recently moved to Parkwood Meadows. What a wonderful retirement community. The place is about 12 years old, which I think is a plus. The landscape and trees are beautiful and established. The staff is seasoned, the chef has been there for about 12 years and the food is great. All 3 meals are served restaurant style with multiple choices. I had lunch multiple times with my mom. The first time I had the pork chops and the second time I had a pork loin. We were served our drinks first, then our choice of several salads, then our choice of 4 different entrees and last the dessert. My mom uses the library and in-house beauty salon. She plays bingo 3 days a week. She attends church every Sunday in their in-house chapel. Which in addition to the morning non-denominational service, they also have a Catholic Mass Sunday afternoon. The residents are always friendly and are very welcoming to my mom. I really think the residents come there to live and have a good time. They have such a great attitude. The staff is headed up by Igor Gragera, very hands on. I visited my mom this Sunday and Igor was there. We talked for a bit and he wanted to make sure I was happy and that my mom was happy too. I think he runs a pretty tight ship. My mom has a 1 bedroom apartment. The living room and bedroom are separate. Both bedroom and living room have big windows that lead to her patio. Tons of light comes in. The apartments are very spacious and clean. My mom has a patio off the living room, but she does not use it very often, but I use it all the time because it is a very convenient way to enter her apartment. Gail was very helpful in helping us get my mom settled in. Gail was also very helpful in getting us set up with an outside source to handle my mom"s meds and personal laundry. At this point I am very pleased and very happy we chose Parkwood Meadows.

My mom has been here for three years. They have many activities in the building and off site. Many local field trips on a nice bus. The apartments are clean and they provide three meals a day in the dining area. If your parent needs additional care I recommend Amada Senior Care, their office is right here in Round Rock.

This is a fun community! There is always something going on. Whether it’s bingo, balance class, trivia or bridge, the residents are laughing and thoroughly enjoying themselves. This community is lovely, I enjoy strolling around and admiring the beautiful landscape. There are always people sitting on the porch ready for good conversation (even when it’s raining). The staff is bery helpful and seem to revolve around keeping their residents happy.
