My mother lived here for three years. When she was fairly independent (needing help with medication only), the facility was fine. However, when she started requiring more assistance, there was a major lack in care. The staff to resident ratio on the assisted living side is very low. They never offered moving her to a higher level on the assisted living side to offer more care even though I documented the need for two years. When covid hit, I was unable to enter her room for almost a full year. During that time, apparently she refused help with bathing and cleaning so it simply wasn’t done. When I was finally allowed to enter, I was upset by the condition of her body, room and bed. I had asked many time to ensure she is being bathed and was assured that was happening. The caregivers are kind and efficient but the problems start from the top. I moved my mom out and have asked for the Director to contact me. That was a week ago. No contact.

I posted this review on Yelp also. I left a Skilled Nursing Facility because I didnt require as much care as a SNF offered, but renting an apartment wasnt quite enough. Assisted Living offered the independence I wanted and the help I needed, so this was a perfect fit for my life. I can come and go as I want, but get the care I need. Three meals-day and snacks are provided. The home provides management of my medicine. I can choose whether or not they launder my clothes, and how frequently they clean my abode (trash collection is done daily). Lakeshore Living offers just the right balance in my life. There are weekly trips to go shopping as well as attendance at special events throughout the year. An on-site theater, on-site salon, free Wi-Fi and cable TV are just some of the amenities offered here. I couldnt have chosen a better arrangement! I know they recently had a change in ownership and have now undergone a name change and updated decor. Everyone Ive met here, from the office employees to the caregivers, have shown genuine concern in making me comfortable in my new home. I do feel confident in claiming that this assisted living facility is truly and thankfully my new home!

Lovely facility with comfortable rooms. The staff is caring and very well educated. We've had mom here more than a year and she is very happy. Competitive prices for the outstanding service we receive. I would highly recommend Arbor House and after extensive research can confirm this is the most well run senior facility in Rockwall.

Arbor House was such a big help to us during one of our lives greatest times of need. My mother lived out her last 3 years at Arbor House. The staff was amazing and she was in a place where she was happy and had friends. Were sad to lose mom but thankful we had Arbor House during that process.

Were extremely thankful for Arbor House. They have stepped in during a time in our life that has been difficult. My sister had a stroke about 1.5 years ago and has been at Arbor house the last 11 months. Although she has made a great recovery she still needs a large amount of help. The staff is loving and attentive to her needs. They greet our family by name and the facility and rooms are extremely clean. We highly recommend Arbor house to others.

What I love most about this Assisted Living and Alzheimer's care place is how warm and kind the staff is to the residents. I am really impressed with the way they work so well with anyone needing extra assistance in life. This place just feels different... very home like! I have been in several other communities trying to find the right fit and I'm so glad to have found this one!

I cannot stress how much I love Arbor House of Rockwall. I have worked for and have had family thats lived in other communities like this but none of them have ever felt like home. At Arbor House, the team cares for the residents. They are truly treated more like close friends and the compassion shown here is amazing. The food is great, the engagements are awesome and the residents are happy! Its a beautiful place.

I love the environment at arbor house rockwall, the staff is amazing. The food is 5 great they have one of the best chefs in town. They also take the residents on a lot of outings to restaurants, malls ect. If you are looking for a fun safe environment for your elderly family members to live this is the place to stay.

I was able to send some pretty amazing families to live here at this Arbor House Rockwall location and to my delight, the families are still here and very happy. I feel really good about referring people to live a better life here and am so proud of the Executive Director and the caring staff she hires to care for our loved ones there. Its so exciting to know that there are such wonderful and special people working in such a beautiful environment for our aging population. Great work Rockwall Arbor House!

My mother in-law has alzheimers and lived with us for about 3 years. Arbor House has become part of our family and stepped in when we couldnt do everything. The staff is kind, understanding and highly trained in what they do. I strongly recommend Arbor House Rockwall to anyone looking for a high standard of elderly care.
