This is a home away from home for seniors. They are one big happy family. Doing the best to take care of themselves and each other in their silver and golden years. Lot's of friends to talk to and hang out with, play games and do other activities with. Private rooms that include a walk in shower, fridge and microwave. With plenty of cabinets and drawers for storage. They get their toes trimmed and feet cared for. There's opportunity to get a hair cut or style. And yes, the food they serve in the dining room is great. I'm so happy we were told about this hidden gem. Now our loved one can have her degree of independence and help where she needs. °—©©©©

I'm a retire RN and advocate for the elderly. Ashwood is my first choice for clients. The staff is caring, the facility is updated, and they encourage family/friends to be involved by having family night and other activities throughout the year. The administrator has alot of experience getting residents services that help with their mobility and overall well being. I hope they're still around when I need them.

If you’re looking for an ALF home to leave your loved one; look no further. I assure you the new fancy places are shells trying to entice you. Ashwood Court is completely remodeling their rooms, and they are very nice. But, at the end of the day, the only thing that matters is the care your loved one receives. Ashwood Court actually cares for your loved one. Here’s the bonus, the food is amazing!

This community is, by far, one of the best in area! Everyone is so friendly, the food is fantasticthe residents are happy and enjoy visiting with eachother and are often seen enjoying the many activities Ashwood offers. The administrator is friendly and available when you need him, and is often seen walking around visiting with all the residents. I love how clean and fresh the building is kept, and the caregivers are loving and kind. I would give Ashwood Court 10 stars, if I could!

My 100 year old mother has only been a resident at Ashwood Court for two weeks, but I can’t say enough good things about this facility! The entire staff has been wonderfulthey are caring, compassionate, professional, friendly and prompt when there is a need. They go out of their way to be helpful. The facility is always very clean. The food in the dining room is excellentnot your typical health care facility dining experience. It is more like going to a restaurant! The Executive Director is a genuine professionalhe knows the residents and truly cares about their experience at Ashwood Court. He sets high standards for the staff and it shows in everything they do. My mother has been in a number of health care facilities in recent years and the staff in those facilities can’t hold a candle to the staff at Ashwood Court! We have been truly impressed! I might add that there are a number of activities, social events, etc. and they are well received by the residents. When trying to find a place for my aunt, a social worker recommended Ashwood Court. I talked with a friend whose mother had been in Ashwood Court for about 4-5 years before passing. I asked her what her reviews were about it. She told me "Kay, when my times comes for assisted living, I am going to live there. A lot of the people that work there have been there for quite a few years. And they really love their job. Plus Ashwood Court's food is really GREAT, especially the chicken & dumplings." So I had a visit with the director Don Blackwell on the phone. I was so impressed with him. You could tell that he really had a passion for helping the residents. The staff have all been very helpful. It is so great to see my aunt become happy again and participating in lots of events every day. I HIGHLY RECCOMMEND Ashwood Court to everyone. What a blessing it has been to our lives and especially to my aunt. I wish that there were 20 stars & more....that's what Ashwood Court deserves. I know your loved one will LOVE it also.! Kay U.

My brother resided at Ashwood Court for over 3 years. The staff was always attentive to his needs as well as mine to insure his care. They are a great team to work with and will take care of your loved ones!

My mother resided at Ashwood while she needed respite care. Everyone was amazing. We had never been in this situation before and from admission to release, everyone helped us through the entire process. The facility itself is very nice and clean, the food was great, the nurses were very attentive and caring and they always went above and beyond to ensure all of our needs were taken care of. I would recommend Ashwood for long term or respite care, awesome staff and facility!!

We are happy with Ashwood Court! Another reviewer spoke about 2 dogs that roam free, and how one dog died, was left in the room for days, and was put in the dumpster. Our loved ones have been there for about 6 months, and I am there several times a week. I've never seen "dogs roaming free." Our loved ones have had 2 dogs in their apartment, (always on leash when out of the apartment.) Their 17 year old dog died one morning, and we were immediately notified. He was lovingly wrapped in a blanket, placed in a box & brought to the back for me to get him. I picked him up within an hour so we could bury him in our backyard. Tammy cried, along with the rest of us! These people are so kind, & sympathetic, and I wanted to set the record straight. This is a great place, full of caring, competent, happy people. Oh, and our loved ones LOVE the meals!

My dad has been living there for 7 months and we have been very pleased with his care there. He has lived in several other facilities and he is happier here than he has ever been ! We have had some issues with cleaning the room but after reporting it they were very prompt to take care of it. The staff are caring and friendly and we are thankful for each of them and their compassionate attitude ! I would recommend them for your loved ones.

Not only ii's an immaculate clean and we'll kept facility, their staff is amazing and the culture that has been created from the top down is invaluable.
