My mom has been at Twin Rivers a year and 4 months. She loves it there, and WE love it as well! The staff treats us all like family and responds promptly if there is a concern or request from the resident or family member. Maria L. and Micah G. are wonderful advocates for the residents and care deeply about them. They treat my mom as if she is theirs and look out for her! The caregivers and other staff members are also jewels that we wouldn't trade for anything but in the world! I highly recommend Twin Rivers to anyone who is looking for a wonderful place to call home.

It is evident as you read through all of these reviews of Twin Rivers that this is a special place. I work in the physical therapy department of a CCRC (Continuous Care Retirement Community) and it is very evident to me that the people who work at Twin Rivers are a remarkable team who love what they do and love who they work for, the residents. After working with Paul Markowicz of Senior Living Specialists, who was instrumental in helping us find and secure an apartment at Twin Rivers, I recently moved my dad into his assisted living apartment. As I live in another state I stayed in Richardson for several weeks helping him get settled. The team at Twin Rivers went above and beyond to welcome my father and to help him settle in. They also went above and beyond in their support of me and the other members of his family. That support continues even now that I am back home and over 1000 miles away. I have received prompt responses to all of my questions/emails and even received a call from Diana, the Director of Activities to "just let me know how my dad is doing." I would try to name all the wonderful people who there but I'm afraid I would miss someone so I can say without hesitation this is a superb care team that truly cares about the health and happiness of our family members we entrust to their care. It is a beautiful and sparkling clean community. My father loves the food and they are very purposeful in helping residents engage in activities. When it came time for me to return home I was able to say without hesitation two things: #1 I was not worried at all about my dad and knew he would be well cared for #2 I felt like I was leaving family. In the three short weeks I was visiting my dad I got to know many of the staff and residents and I knew I would miss seeing them regularly. This is a wonderful community and I highly recommend it.

We relocated MIL from Shreveport to Richardson. So happy to find Twin Rivers. Bright, cheery atmosphere and staff. Building in great shape and decorated lovely. Residents (referred to as family members ) are well cared for and personally known. Several activity options and visiting medical staff are very engaged. MIL’s food expectations are high and she has been very happy with the menu, taste and options.

My mom has been in the assisted living area at Twin Rivers for 4 months and has just moved to the memory care side. The staff is wonderful and caring. The whole place from the food to the cleanliness and open bright atmosphere is all I could hope for. It gives me such peace of mind knowing my mother is happy and well taken care of. I’m so glad I chose Twin Rivers in Richardson to care for my mom at this hard transition in life with dementia. They all made it so easy and smoother than I ever expected.

We all want our family members to be healthy, happy and living independently. George Barrett (friend) owns a business called Joy Senior Living Services and offers his service free of charge. I contacted George to help me locate a senior living community that would be best for my Mother. George contacted me and said Twin Rivers Assisted Living and Memory Care in Richardson, Texas is a perfect place for your Mother. After my family and I met with Micah and Maria, we knew George was right. The Staff really cares about you and your family. We knew the transition into Assisted Living was going to be emotional and challenging at the same time. Micah and Maria made the transition so special for my Mother and our family. The unconditional love and support that is bestowed upon my Mother and our family is amazing! The minute you walk through the doors of Twin Rivers, you feel the spirit of love and happiness. The bright and cheery decor along with happy residents playing cards, attending happy hour, movie hour, church services and invigorating exercise time. The residents love exercise time because the Director provides a challenging workout program, while making it fun! Some retirement communities will just show a video and ask residents to watch it with no human interaction. As a society and especially in Retirement communities, it is extremely important to have the human interaction! Twin Rivers knows how to provide the many meaningful activities that make the Residents feel special and loved! Twin Rivers sets the bar really high for the level of care and attention to detail they provide. My Mother receives excellent care each and every day. Everyone at Twin Rivers is so respectful and very attentive to any questions you may have regarding maintenance, billing, health, etc., and the Chef even meets with Residents to gain input regarding meal plans. The Leadership Team hires a staff that truly cares about people and knows how to interact with the resident and their family members. We appreciate and love the entire Twin Rivers team who show up for work every day and love what they do. Many blessings to each of you. Thank you and keep up the great work!

Twin Rivers has been a blessing to our family. The staff has gone above and beyond to help us through a difficult time. They are caring and helpful and make the residents feel like family. We always get quick responses and help with any questions we have. Micah and Maria have guided and supported us through the transition into assisted living, and we couldn't have done it without them. The facility is very pretty with updated decor and features. It is well maintained and very clean. The food at Twin Rivers is delicious. It is clear the chefs put care into what they are serving the residents. Our family is very happy to call Twin Rivers home.

Twin Rivers is simply the BEST place to have put my mother in after moving her out of her home in New York several years ago. The staff and senior management have been nothing but spectacular during both the pandemic and the recent freezing temperature events. I would highly recommend this community for anyones loved one.

My aunt has lived at Twin Rivers since it opened in March 2017. She has thrived in the caring and loving atmosphere, and the staff is always responsive to her needs. When the lockdown occurred one year ago, I was grateful she lived in a one story building so that we could talk to one another at her window. We even celebrated her 91st birthday at the big window in the living room! I thank God for every staff member who gave of themselves without cease during the polar power outage last month. The welfare of every resident was their only priority.

Twin Rivers is a special place and my second family. They have expertly and lovingly cared for my mother since they opened their doors. I have immediate and attentive access to management and have grown to know each caregiver ‘as my sister as designated by my mother. My dad has been here for the past 4 years and Chris, Sheila, Selem, Chef Nach, Jason, Mabelle, Diane and the entire staff have a servants heart for this work. They came to work every day during the storm. They run records that we need when we go outside the residence for health care and keep the residents active and involved. Twin Rivers is an amazing community. In the last five years, I have toured countless assisted living facilities but I have to say in the DFW area, Twin Rivers is a hidden gem. It is a small, well-run facility on one-level with wide hallways. Clean and well-managed, this place really is centered around the needs of elders and their families. At first the apartments seemed quite small to my grandparents but after a few weeks in residence, found it suited their needs quite well after all. They loved many of the social activities and the small garden areas around the facility. There is low-turnover in staff which is also rare in this industry. In our time, we got to know many wonderful staff members (nurses, aides, activities coordinators, cooks, front desk and housekeepers) who meant a great deal to our grandparents and also to us. The other residents and their families are wonderful as well. Whenever our grandparents were in rehab or extended hospital stays, the staff would always visit with them and the other residents would pass on notes and cards. Sheila and Chris and their team are simply the best. They supported our grandparents and our family through many transitions in the last couple of years. We count ourselves lucky to have been a part of their wonderful community.

Twin Rivers is an outstanding facility. The atmosphere is clean and bright, and the staff truly treats the residents like family. There are many scheduled activities for residents to enjoy, and great musical entertainers are scheduled frequently. So many good things to support both mental and physical well-being! I am so thankful that Twin Rivers is my dads home.

We moved our mom here 3 years ago and couldnt be happier with her care! The staff is exceptional. The facility is well maintained and there is much attention to detail of the furnishings. It looks like a magazine but feels like home. We are so grateful to Chris, Sheila and the rest of the staff.

We are coming up on three-year anniversary at Twin Rivers Assisted Living, and have been completely happy with the level of care, attention to the smallest detail, and the personal touch from all levels of providers - we have received personal help from the Executive Director, General Manager, Nutritionist, Dietician, Medical, Nurses, Activities personnel, Dining, etc., etc. It seems like everyone there gets special training in providing the human touch. Highly recommended - dont even bother looking at other facilities!

This place is wonderful. I love the true family feel.That is what sets Twin Rivers apart. I cannot day enough good things. Chris, the executive director, took the time to explain all of our options and listened to us like we were her own family. We visited multiple places for my mom and are very happy with our experience
