My dad's aid was 10 pm to 6 am is the best. Very caring and really take the best care of Dad. She listens to what he says and make she understands what he is saying. She is also very helpful on teaching me on how to care for my dad.

Activity director Debra made Father's Day so special for everyone at Remington. I joined my Dad for a loaded baked potato bar, Bundt cake and ice cream dessert and a fun musician for entertainment. We had trivia with prizes and just a fun afternoon. Everyone has treated my Dad very kindly during his stay. Thanks, Debra for including me and making my Dad feel special on Father's Day.

My husband was here for physical and occupational therapy for 50 days. The facility was clean and the staff was friendly. I cannot speak highly enough about the care and therapy we received from nurse Britnee, CNA Meaza and PT/OT therapists, Alisha, Mr. Duncan, John, Martina, and Patrick! They were supportive, caring, and encouraging! In addition, the Administrator Gene was wonderful and helped us when we ran into an issue. Highly recommend!

This facility has excellent service and staff with special care. Especially RN Sandra Madubuike is very nice and caring. She treats my mother like her own mother. My mother feels comfortable and prefers female for her cleaning. Sandra goes out her way to fulfill my mother's requirements. She is an excellent nurse.

I cannot say enough how great this place was for my father after he had his stroke. From the very beginning when I first visited, all the staff engaged me and seem to be motivated by their work, which let me know right away it would be a good place. Andrea Craig of social services kept me informed of when insurance would want my father out and helped me get two extensions at the end. Tessa Harrington, the rehab director, kept me informed of Dad's progress and helped him get a power wheelchair through one of their vendors. She was also able to get the staff doctor to call me about health issues. I don't remember all the names but everyone was so helpful. I should also mention the facilities are very nice, much like living in a nice hotel. Also, the food was great. My father stared eating more as a result which he really needed to bolster his weight. Transitions into and out of the facility went smoothly as well.

EXCELLENT HEALTH CARE ACCORDING TO DOCTORS ORDERS, CARING AND KIND NURSES WHO WERE RESPONSIVE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE IN EVERY WAY. DAILY VISITS BY STAFF DOCTOR ADDRESSED ANY ISSUES. ATTENDANTS PROPMT AND CAREFUL. Administration was very professional with almost daily check ins and the Recreation and Activitivies Director very active to keep "spirits" high and interests available. We're very pleased that my mother was able to get rehab at this facility! The staff were attentive to my mother's needs! Physical therapists and Occupational therapists were great to work with! My mother came to Remington after a fall and breaking her shoulder . She had surgery and before surgery was on a walker with Parkinson's! The care from the nurses , aides and therapists were wonderful !! The problem I had was the physician's decision to early discharge her due to her not improving fast enough and said she was declining!! This was further than the truth with her just coming out of surgery and other issues! Her fight and determination is proving them wrong ! I just was hoping for another ten days before it was all left to me -/very disappointed with decision and social workers not fighting for us !! Peace , love and respect

From the Therapy Department, Megan, Norman, Duncan and Ginger: My husband came in late Thursday evening so it has been one week and the progress he has made has been remarkable. They are pleasant and easy to work with and my husband performs for them because of their skill and personalities - top rated physical therapy department! Debra, the activity Director, where do I start? She is a jack of all trades and was a godsend to me from the day I met her. Every day she comes and checks on my husband to make sure everything is the way it should be, and before she leaves, she comes in to see if everything is done. I can hear her doing activities with all the other patients here and her smile is infectious! She is a true blessing to all the patients. She is an A+ employee here and I'm so grateful to have met her! Amanda, the day Aide, what a blessing she has been! Her bubbly warm personality is infectious! I had the chance to visit a friend recently and was very disappointed. When I saw the building prior to entering, I was impressed. Once inside the doors, this awful sewer gas smell hits you. Looks beautiful, but, couldnt wait to leave. While I was visiting, I saw a few CNA's working very hard on the 2-10 shift, but nurses are hard to locate and if you do find them, you feel like you are bothering them. Definately not service excellence!! I would never refer friend or family !
