I have nothing but high praises for the Wellington. My Mom has been there on two occasions. The first time was for respite while her bathroom was being renovated and we chose for her to stay there again because the last experience was so great. This time her first few days were a bit rocky, but at no fault at all of the Wellington staff. They have worked with me personally to get my Mom everything that she needs to get her on the road to a speedy recovery. They have gone over and beyond to make her comfortable. My husband and I are very grateful for The Wellington and their staff.

My grandma has been at the Wellington a few months now she loves it the food is great, chef Cree comes up to her room to deliver her meals sometimes and checks on her to see if she eats or go make something she likes. Our family had lunch in the dinning room last week and what a great experience. The culinary department here is great and very organized. Can't wait to go have lunch again.

This place is very uneven. Sometimes do a nice job with the residents, other times really let them and their families down. Food, care, therapy, security, accounting….all very uneven…no consistency at all. In addition to the considerable monthly fees that are typical with seniors, facility is home to a gaggle of "scab workers" who lurk around trying to get you to hire them for private care. Staff seems to encourage it, guess it means they have less to do. Best to have a camera in the room.

The Wellington at Arapaho is a fun, classy place. We visited here with Miniencounters Mini Horses and Jade for an outside visit. They had live music that the residents loved and so did we.....good beat to keep everyone interested and movin and groovin......these folks have fun and some good friendships look to have developed. We hope to go back and spend some time inside now that restrictions have lifted and see them again. Independent and assisted living offered. 5 stars all the way around.

My mother has been in assisted living for five months now and I feel soo relieved that she is getting three meals a day and having her medicine administered to her. Everyone is pleasant and show concern for the residents. She is acquiring new friends and participating in some of the many activities offered. For a while Mother didnt think she was getting her eye drops put in, but Roxie, the medication tech., assured her that she was. Roxie even devised a sign in sheet for all the medicine techs to sign and date once the eye drops are given. This sheet is kept in Mothers room for reassurance and accountability. If ever there is an issue or concern, the staff try and remedy it instead of ignore it. This is very comforting to me and my family. We want the best for our Mother and we feel like we have found it at The Wellington at Arapaho!

The staff at the Wellington have taken great care of my mother for years. However, it was during the pandemic of 2020-2021 that they truly proved their worth. While horror stories abounded about retirement homes, The Wellington at Arapaho managed to keep staff and clients alike safe while enabling us to continue to visit our loved ones and give them the family connections they need. Thank you, Wellington!

My Dad moved in in November 2020. They have the best staff. Always friendly and helpful. My Dad has made so many friends and they have activities planned several times a week. Countless musical performers have come, Bingo, parties to celebrate holidays, exercise class, Spinners....the list goes on. They have helped make his transition from home after a large stroke so much easier.

The Wellington is a warm, like-family place to live. They have many caring, dedicated employees. Many have been there for 10, 15+ years. The residents are lovely people and happy with their community. There are plenty of activities, socials and musical performances for them to enjoy. Over the years Ive helped find senior living for my grandmother, mother and now now my mother-in-law. Im so glad I found the Wellington. Its the best!

I wanted to write a review of this place simply because it was awesome to spend time talking to the residents. The residents seemed to be very happy with the staff. My job sent me there to give a fraud-scam seminar to the residents. It was a great turnout. We had over 30 residents participate and were very engaged . The Event Coordinator made it fun for the residents and ourselves. We played games and had root beer floats. The staff was very accommodating.

I have been working at The Wellington for over 10 years as the Director of Activities. My years here have been very positive and rewarding. Our residents are always ready to participate in activities, events, presentations, outings, and happy hour. We have the best staff members and management team thus far. The building is very elegant inside and out and our courtyards are beautiful and inviting. We invite you to stop by and visit. And you will see why our residents call the Wellington their home!

My mother has been at the Wellington for three months. She is very happy there, and feels she is in the right place. When you walk in, youll see the facility is very attractive. Its a lovely, well-designed place. But the truth is that the walls are less important that the people within those walls. My mother says that everyone, from housekeeping to maintenance to kitchen to front office, everyone has made her feel welcome. The facility director, Bret, makes it a point to know every one of the residents personally. He gets involved with day to day activities and jumps in where needed. Hes not an office desk kind of director. I have been impressed with the Wellingtons handling of COVID protocols. The residents have been kept COVID-free. They also had both doses of the vaccine brought to them on-site. Its a huge relief to know that they have been protected. My mother recently had major oral surgery. It is a fairly long recovery, and the kitchen staff has gone out of their way to provide soft foods for her. We are appreciative of that kind of caring approach. Bottom line: My mother is happy, and we are happy shes there.

I have had the pleasure of serving the residents of the Wellington for over ten years and have ALWAYS seen a very capable staff at work with the sole purpose of providing a caring and family atmosphere. There are many activities to choose from and the food is excellent and has a menu with a wide variety but accommodating to any appetite. The cleanliness is top shelf and it is tastefully decorated. I serve close to a dozen other senior communities in the area and I would rate the Wellington at Arapaho head and shoulders above the rest. Hats off to the corporate staff for their vision and to the management and staff at this location.

My Mother has been a resident for over 2 years. She considers this home and absolutely loves everyone there. The staff is beyond fantastic, she feels loved and cared for. On several occasions I have seen multiple staff dance and sing and get the residents involved. The smiles on their faces are fantastic. The staff continues to find ways for the residents to get exercise. The Wellington keeps me informed on any issues and has handled the Covid19 and lockdown remarkably well. Sharon Wheeler

My Dad selected the Wellington on his own almost three years ago. Though he is not an overly social guy, he made good friends at the Wellington. The residents are wonderful. We recently had to move him out due to a stroke and declining health, but the staff and his fellow neighbors all wished him well. It's a very welcoming and friendly community. I think the food could stand to be improved and some maintenance issues took a little while to fix, but overall it was a great experience for my Dad.

Courteous staff, did not meet but front desk and Sales Director. Grounds were well kept and pleasant balconies and porches on some units. 7 floor plans available for 1 bedroom units. Like the finishes and layout of the units. Activity schedule was a good selection of events and activities for tenants. One-time $1000.00 community fee.

My mother has lived at this retirement facility for the past two years. She initially moved into the Independent Living quarters but soon had to go over to the Assisted Living side. While the Independent Living side was very comfortable and attractive, my mother was not able to manage on her own so we decided to take the leap to Assisted Living. My biggest worry when I made the decision to move my mother to Assisted Living was that she would disengage from life and waste away from boredom and sadness but quite the opposite has occurred. I truly believe that she is happier here at The Wellington at Arapaho than she has been for many, many years. There are many good reasons for this. The staff is caring, attentive and very careful to help my mother with her specific needs. For example, they watch her diet very carefully and make sure she doesn't eat anything that will cause her celiac disease to flair up. As to food, Michael, the Manager of Dining keeps a clean kitchen, serving very nutritious food with a serving staff that is extremely friendly and efficient. Latosha, the Director of Assisted Living, makes sure that the facility is efficiently and safely run and that residents' needs and wishes are met by the other staff members who I find to be courteous, helpful and attentive to my mother at the highest level. They come by my mother's room frequently to check on her. They make sure to keep her room safe and clean. They listen to her and encourage her to engage in group activities, of which there are many (O'Keefe and Oly, the Activities Directors, do a great job of keeping things fun and lively). The other residents are very nice and love to engage in conversation. I can honestly say that my mother is in excellent hands at The Wellington. I am very glad that we found it and that my mother's life is as secure and as happy as I could ever have hoped for. If you are considering an Assisted Living facility for one or both of your parents, I would highly recommend you consider The Wellington at Arapaho.

I have had the pleasure to work closely with Susan and her staff for many years. I have had so many great experiences referring residents to them. They are always professional and put the residents care and families first. I believe in them so much that my father moved in 2 years ago. I do not worry about him from a care or safety standpoint, which is a great relief to both me and my brother. I will continue to refer residents based on my professional an personal experience with them, without any hesitation.
