We were going to sit outside but it was a bit to cool. But besides that the inner yard area is not kept in good shape. It’s mostly weeds, there’s broken pottery, hoses laying around, broken plastic. It’s not a pleasant area. It could be much nicer for the residents and should be.

This facility is absolutely beautiful! The staff is super friendly and helpful they genuinely care about the people they take care of. The events are mind blowing. So many parties, themed days, crafts and other treats make it a genuinely happy environment.

When the realization that a parent can no longer live alone sets in, so does the anxiety of choosing the perfect assisted living facility. The Waterford at Plano met our needs perfectly. The location and services that they offer is ideal and the apartments are designed to meet each residents personal needs. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and helpful in making the transition a smooth and positive experience.

I have nothing but GREAT things to say about this place. First and foremost I really don't know what I would have done with the caring and loving support of the Director- Ali, she went far and above what you would ever expect from anyone. She genuinely cares! She gave me direction information for my parent to be successful living independently, such as Senior Helpers and Baylor House calls. (who were also just as wonderful) Even though my parents time there was short due to many medical issues, I am happy that they had such a warm loving and caring place to be for awhile. Everyone there is wonderful they don't just "work" there they really do care about their residents. It's a clean comfortable homey environment great activities great dining/meals. You really wouldn't have to worry about your loved ones here. I highly recommend it!

Mom is very happy there. All of the apartments have a LARGE bathroom and a kitchenette. The food is EXCELLENT. The servers know her preferences i.e. they always make sure she has 2 glasses of iced tea. Her table-mates like hot tea, so that's ready to go. If one doesn't want what's on the menu for that evening, they can order something a la carte. When she doesn't feel well, they will deliver her meal to her room. They have 24 hour monitoring along with Life-Alert. The staff knows everyone AND their families by name! Services include: Maid once/week to change & wash sheets & do light cleaning, WiFi, home health care services, nurse practitioners who come twice/month to do a wellness check, a library, on-site physical therapy staff... Activities include weekly shows, Bingo, Bridge, Bible studies, church services, daily puzzles, Hair salon (otherwise known as gossip central :). These are just the things I can think of. And no, they didn't pay me to write this. Thanks for making Mom and me feel safe.
