Very positive experience with Bader House Plano. Small facility exclusively built for residents with dementia. Kind, caring and nurturing staff. The facility is well managed, clean and applies best practices in dementia care. Families of residents are always welcome to visit and the staff if very communicative with family members. Highly recommended based on our experience.

The Bader House has been my mother's home for almost 10 months now. It is just that, HOME, we needed somewhere where the place is comfortable and the staff is caring and professional. They are always on top of her medical, nutritional, and emotional needs. We can't be more pleased with the caregivers and the administrative staff. This place is home!

My Mother has been at Bader House for 3 years and has received incredible care. The staff are very attentive and compassionate and the facility is beautiful. They are always very receptive to changes in my Mom and work to provide her with the best quality of life with her disease. We looked at a lot of facilities before moving Mom into Bader House and it was the best decision.

Bader House is wonderful and is specifically designed for Memory Care. The staff is caring and attentive. With the small number of residents, this feels like a home. Lots of natural light and very open feeling. Pass through window into kitchen so residents can talk with the chef and see/smell what's cooking! Large outdoor area with a soft walking path. Great community.... I highly recommend Bader House!

The staff is wonderful, loving, and caring. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful. The outdoor backyard is unique for a memory care facility but there is no other care facility like this one. I highly recommend Bader House if you want the best care for your loved one.

The staff is very friendly and always know us when we visit. My aunt is very happy there and has improved physically so much since she moved in a few months ago. We are very happy and comfortable with her being there and are thankful for the great care she receives. Bader House has a very homelike atmosphere and has a lot of activities for residents and families. They have a lot of outside activities which makes my aunt very happy!

Our family had a horrible experience here. We were told medications would be the last resort and this was not true. The physician who comes to this facility to see residents wouldn't listen to our concerns or wants. In fact when we asked to taper off meds he increased them. Our LO was placed on some heavy duty psych meds and they had never taken any of this type of medication before. We were told that the residents would be active throughout the day and most of the time when we came to visit the residents were sitting around, watching tv or in their rooms. We believed we were getting the best based on the monthly rate for this place and the promises made during the tour. Our LO was accused of "aggressive" behavior which basically was due to them being asked to leave other resident's rooms. They leave the resident's rooms unlocked throughout the day so it's no wonder they wander around into places they shouldn't be. We were told our LO needed an inpatient psychiatric admission. At that point we went to go pick up our LO and all of their belongings because we were fed up with their poor care. We wrote to the administration after about all of our concerns and never received a reply. We sent it certified so we know it was received. Our LO was there less than 3 months and they would not refund any of the $1500 move-in fee. Also, the turnover here is ridiculous. Staff would leave and we would have no explanation. I've recently learned their admissions director is now at another facility, too. The end of our story was we took our LO home and they were perfectly fine. We found another facility where they are happy and well cared for. There are no heavy meds in place and no need to go to a psych facility. For the $6500 monthly rate at Bader House you definitely do not get what you pay for and they take no accountability. It's a beautiful facility but that means nothing if they residents are not well cared for. I hope this will help another family avoid a bad experience.

Bader House in Plano is the ONLY place I refer to as they are the best in the DFW area. I have seen enough memory care communities to know how special Bader House is. Its a house - a warm, caring environment - that feels like home for those who are cognitively-challenged. Any time I have been there, Ive felt as though I was at my grandmothers house. The staff truly cares about their residents which is a big part of why this place is so wonderful. If your loved one is living with Alzheimers or dementia, I absolutely recommend Bader House. Living well and with dignity shouldnt be a luxury. Thank you, Bader House, for caring for our seniors.

A friend of mine has her mother here and it has been wonderful since day one!The staff are friendly and kind, the nurses are proactive and prompt, and the Executive Director is very sweet and attentive. I feel welcomed and like its my loved one who is living hereI would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for memory care

When I started searching for a memory care facility for my mother who suffers from Alzheimers disease it was a confusing and educating experience. When I toured the Bader House my search stopped. My family and I loved the whole concept of a smaller facility (they house only 24 residents) who specialize only in dementia care. The leadership there understand the disease and embrace the unique care they require. My mother has resided at the Bader House over two years. It is there you have a feeling of being a part of one big family. If you and your family find yourself in this same situation I highly recommend the Bader House.

Ive never worked for a more genuine company before. Uncommon Cares number one priority is providing stellar care to their residents and they do so by providing up to date, hands on training to their staff. They do a great job of acknowledging staffs hard work and dedication.The owners not only know the residents in each of their communities but the staff as well. My dad has had the most awesome care Bader House. The staff are very carefully chosen for their positive personalities and character. This place is truly a home. The residents are kept busy socializing, doing activities, outside in the backyard and eating frequent home-style meals. I would recommend Bader House to anyone looking for the best memory care in the metroplex.

We are grateful to have our dad living at Bader House. They are so thoughtful in the design of the lovely facility. Each day is planned to provide residents with the opportunity to engage in activity, excercise, and rest. They offer 5 meals that are deliciously prepared. From the kind staff, handyman, cook, and the staff nurse everyone is helpful. Finding this excellent home for my father has given me peace of mind. Thank you everyone at Bader House!
