Assisting Hands is excellent. We had great success working with the coordinator and the owner Wolfgang (who also the coordinator and former caregiver) finding caregiver within their organization that was a match with my mother who had dementia and PSTD. We had little success with previous caregiver services in the area locating a caregivers who would stick with us and being consistent in the same caregiver assigned to my mother's care. Assisting Hands did not randomly yank an assigned caregiver from the service. In addition, when there was an issue, the matter was dealt with fairly and quickly. Excellent communications and the caregivers are thoroughly vetted and trained. I highly recommend entrusting Assisting Hands with the care of your loved one.

Wolfgang, Megan and the caregivers were absolutely wonderful. When new caregivers came to the house for the first time, Megan would also come to train these people and tell them about my husband. This was incredibly helpful. If something happened that prevented a caregiver from being able to do a shift (and these things happen) the staff, especially Megan, at Assisting Hands worked diligently to make sure we were covered. There was some difficulty with the insurance company. Wolfgang worked with me until the problem was resolved. All invoices that Assisting Hands were clear and transparent. We had worked with another agency prior to Assisting Hands. It was a complete disaster in all ways. What a relief and pleasure to work with Assisting in our time of great need and difficulty.

My wife has dementia and soon will be moving to memory care. For several months Assisting Hands has provided companions for her while I do volunteer work. All of the companions they have sent have been pleasant and caring and always showed up on schedule. Also, the office staff has been very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend their services.

Wolfgang Willems, the owner, and his team at Assisting Hands serving Frisco and Plano are top notch! We have been using them since July 2022 to help care for our mother who experienced life-changing illness in June. Coping with hospitals, insurance companies and rehab facilities has been so emotionally and physically draining on our family and we felt we were caught in a downward, never-ending spiral. Then someone told us about Assisting Hands. We did some research on them and other similar caregivers and finally decided on Assisting Hands. I cannot stress enough how wonderful they have been and how much they have helped our family. They have allowed us to share the burden of care and given us time to focus on the more important aspects of multiple therapies and recovery. Their rates are reasonable and in line with other providers in our area. The caregivers are, for the most part, exceptional and proactive and really emphasize the word "care"! When we have issues, or require schedule adjustments, the management team is fast to respond and they make every effort to meet our needs. It has been very challenging for me personally to "let go" and allow others to step in and provide care without me being there, but Assisting Hands has made that transition easier for me. I cannot thank them enough. No one wants to have to pay strangers to sit with, watch and care for a loved one but when the need arises, I can recommend Wolfgang and his team. They are no longer strangers, but are a new, albeit temporary, extension of our family. If your family has similar needs, I can definitely recommend Assisting Hands of Frisco and Plano!

Assisting Hands is absolutely fabulous. We hesitated taking a trip until we found a reliable, affordable service for my 91-year-old mom. assisting Hands did everything they promised and more. When they discovered Mom in distress one morning, they called 911 and stayed with her in the ER until a friend she knew came to be with her. I recommend them highly and without reservation. You can have them take care of your family member without worry.
