First and foremost, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to KaSandra for being one of the most caring, compassionate, and dedicated individuals who has overseen the care of my beloved grandmother, Charlie. We are leaving this review with complete honesty and transparency. Our family has experienced several care facilities in the area, and unfortunately, we were not always satisfied with the level of care provided or the overall condition of the facilities. However, we have always felt confident and reassured when KaSandra was involved in her role as director. Her dedication, leadership, and genuine concern for the residents made a significant difference. Courtyards Senior Living and Memory Care was not initially our first choice, but that changed when we learned KaSandra would be taking over. The transformation of the facility and the improvement in the level of care were truly remarkable. The staff has shown incredible kindness, patience, and attentiveness while caring for Charlie and supporting her through the challenges of her condition. My dad fell in the night and had to be Room. Kurmaine , Was such a great person at communicating with me and letting me know Via text message. He was very kind and helpful and quick to respond, when he got back to the room, his phone wasn’t working and he went down there and fixed it for him.

Mollie King, resident I’m very happy to be living in my room but I miss so many of the caregivers who have left since I’ve been here. David Huerta has been extremely helpful even though he’s not a caregiver. A favorite of mine is Stephanie who gives me great care and takes care of my needs. All the caregivers are friendly, competent, and respond to any needs I have very quickly.

After trying to care for my father with dementia, I had to search for help. I called David Huertas and found an open room at the courtyards. He was very helpful. We were able to get my dad a bed and it was a life saver. The courtyards is a very nice place, friendly nurses, and everyone in the front office is great. Life is much better now!

My experience has been visiting my mom who has been there about a month. Stephanie is such a delight and hard worker, not only with my mom (Socorro), but all the residents. Amy makes sure meds are distributed on time and has called me and texted when I had concerns about my mom’s meds.

My sister and I realized our mother could not live by herself anymore. We started looking for assisted living facilities for her. We stepped into The Courtyards and were greeted so warmly by everyone, we knew this would be the place for her. David and Cassandra made the transition so easy and were so comforting. I am so impressed with Courtyards. My 101 year old Mother feels so pampered here. A special thank you to Stephanie who is so attentive to her. She said she treats her residents how she would like to have her own Mother treated. She is very personable and professional. Our nurse, Amy, has taken charge and in a good way. She is on top of the medications and works very well with the residents, the family members and Interium to make certain everything is correct. Jesus is another valued staff member. The other day he was just walking by when I was struggling with new door decorations. He saw me, stopped and assisted! Very welcomed help! My first Courtyard contact was with David and I was instantly impressed with his knowledge and his "can do" attitude. Kasandra has assembled a wonderful staff. Ka’Sandra, the Executive Director, is very knowledgeable and has all of the heart for her residents and staff. The staff truly care. The building is well maintained and smells nice. I definitely would trust them with my loved one!!

The director KaSandra Lee is very accessible and great because with her team the facility is well run. She has listening ears and works with everyone to grow and acquire the skills they need to advance. With her, there is room for growth. The caregivers love what they do and really do take care of the residents. I will recommend the facility to everyone because it is "Home away from Home" for residents and there is opportunity for workers to advance in their career.

KaSandra was so helpful and courteous. Answered all our questions and took her time with us. We didn’t feel rushed and we felt at ease with our loved one staying there. Tommy, cook, was also very helpful. He took the time to speak to our loved one and asked questions about his favorite meals. Our loved has NEVER complained about the meals and always speaks highly of both KaSandra and Tommy. We would definitely refer to this facility in Odessa as long as KaSandra is there.

There are some really great caregivers left, but most don’t stay long. The food is absolutely awful and not at all adequate to meet the dietary needs of the residents. It’s often tough, overcooked and the cheapest cuts of meat are used. My mom has lived here for over a year and things were great when she moved in. Things started going down hill with the change of owners and poor management. We pay over $6000 a month without getting what we were told would be provided. My mom shouldn’t have to put her trash in the hall because no one has picked it up. She shouldn’t have to depend on us to bring in food because meals are so bad. We’ve asked numerous times for a huge stain on her carpet to cleaned. There’s only one caregiver at night for the entire facility I could go on! I do not encourage anyone put their loved one here.

The Courtyards is a wonderful place for a loved one who can no longer live alone. In the short time our mom was there, the staff was so attentive to her every need. As her needs changed, so did the care she received from the staff. There were a few hic-ups, but that is just normal getting to know your likes and schedule. To the staff, all of you deserve a big thank you and all of you were so wonderful, but especially Cassie. I don't know what we would have done without her calm reassurance. Mom is an angel in heaven now. Thank you to the staff for making mom's last time as comfortable as possible.

A staff member that works at this facility have told me and showed me messages that other staff members are dealing Narcotics at this facility and something needs to be done about it! I'm making sure my family is out of this place this is not the first time! Also they haven't had a employee drug tested in 6 Months , make sure this kind of action is not around yalls family's

About a year ago we had my father in law stay here for a few days to see if he liked it and he really like it he said. He talked about The friends he made. The time came back in January that we needed to move him there permanently and he was still very happy with the place. My father in law is a very picky person most of the time when it comes to making friends and I know he developed some very close and meaningful friendships the short time he was there. Thank you to Bevin for being his buddy and thank you to Beatrice and Kristy and the rest of the staff that put in countless hours tending to his needs. This place is amazing. We searched and searched for a community in midland and Odessa because this was such a huge decision and I can truly say that we found the right place. The Courtyards was such an amazing place. I could not have anywhere else I would have wanted my father to live his finial days. They were so loving to not just him but to my whole family. We were always greeted with a smile. They were all about treating him with love and respect. Especially when his dementia got to the end stages. I never had to worry about anything. I knew he was very well taken care of. All of the staff had hearts for their jobs & it showed for everyone. They all just were so caring. I have a high regard and respect for all of them. I will always recommend anyone to them.
