I cannot say enough wonderful things about Watermere at the Preserve. My 94-year-old mother recently moved into independent living there, and for the past two weeks I’ve spent 4“6 hours a day with her helping her get acclimated. From the very beginning, the experience has been absolutely phenomenal. The staff has gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Rachel, Kayla, and Jamie have been especially amazing in accommodating every need we’ve had. Jamie’s big smile and warm personality brightens the day every time we see her. Everyone here is incredibly friendly, caring, and genuine. The chef is wonderful as well ” always so kind and attentive ” and there is truly never a dull moment. The community is beautiful, clean, spacious, and stunning in every way. I also want to give a special thank you to the housekeeping staff, who are so friendly and thoughtful. This place has brought our family so much peace of mind, and I’m deeply grateful for the care and kindness shown to my mother every single day. I have already recommended Watermere at the Preserve to several friends with aging parents, and I would absolutely encourage anyone looking for independent living to stop by and take a look. It is truly a special place.

Maria was very detailed in explaining all about the Preserve. Showing the model room with me and my daughter was such an experience that I envisioned what it would look like with my own personal items! We recently moved my parents here and they are really enjoying it! They’re looking forward to getting to know this incredible community! Rachel was our leasing agent and she is fabulous! It has some issues like anyplace else. The area’s for activities, gym and therapy is definitely not large enough. It needs more room for gym workout and take a look at machines not being used and replace with more bikes and equipment that’s more popular. We are seniors and not into body building. Therapy center isn’t adequate to share with workout equipment area. Classes in dining room isn’t adequate either. A lot of wasted space on covered areas off second floor that nobody uses. You’re could enclose some of those areas and use it for activities.

Dining room staff needs attention. They're very inconsistent and the chef is horrible and not exercising health practices. No hair net over his beard and wearing his dirty hat while cooking. Menu needs an overhaul

In June I will become a resident at Watermere. (2024)From initial visit and subsequent visits with other family members, I knew that Watermere would be my choice for my new home. My two and half years later and so glad to be here at Watermere at the Preserve!

I stopped in to the front desk for a tiny bit of info on the facility, but mostly for a question about medical equipment. I was greeted at the front desk by an extremely kind woman named Anari. She helped me with my equipment questions, needs, and even recommend 3 different places I might search. She also made a call on my behalf to confirm the name of a specific equipment store. I don’t need this type of facility for my parents yet, but if I did/do, based on this interaction alone, I’d consider it at the top of my list.

Where do I even begin? I just moved my mom down here from Connecticut to the Dallas area. I had a list of retired living communities I had planned to visit. Watermere was the first facility I toured and it ended up being the last. Absolutely stunning!! From the moment I walked in I knew this was the place for my mom. The staff is next level. They have gone above and beyond to make my moms transition seamless. Everyone has been so helpful and sweet. The residents rave about how wonderful it is here. We love watermere at the preserve so much, we are moving my mother-in-law in to this same location next month. My mom is at the first floor, and my mother-in-law will be on the second floor. Beautiful facility, outstanding and amazing staff. I’m blown away!!! I couldn’t be happier with my decision to have my mom and soon MIL here.

Everytime I have visited Watermere at the Preserve I have felt comfortable and welcome. The residents are always friendly in the hallways and are happy to be there. The apartments are open, bright and spacious, too. You should definitely check them out!

We were very impressed with the people and the facility. The thought that went in to designing Watermere, is evident, when you take in the apartment and the amenities. This is Texas, but it still gets cold here! The swimming pool being indoors and heated, make Watermere stand out from all the other senior facilities.

We had a charming visit to Watermere At The Preserve today. Stacy, our representative was warm and engaging and gave us a comprehensive tour of the facility after a delightful lunch. The apartments we toured were well designed and tastefully decorated. All featured large closets and more than adequate stainless steel finished GE appliances. We look forward to future visits as we make plans for the next phase of our lives.

My husband and I have lived here 4 months and we love it more each day. The Activity Director and her assistant are totally amazing! They work so hard to find and coordinate interesting, healthy and just plain fun activities on all levels of fitnessand ALWAYS with a smile and a can-do attitude. The concierge is always willing to help, to guide and respond and again - always pleasant. I can say this about the entire staff: the Director, the Financial Manager, the Sales Staff, the Executive Chef, the Activity Director and Assistant, the Concierge and others: they are all diligent - no job is beneath their position or title. There is a prevailing attitude throughout of let’s get it done whatever it takes -help serve a party, help bus tables and on and on. My husband and I are simply thankful we have found a place where we can be proud to entertain friends, enjoy our neighbors, and the carefree lifestyle Watermere at the Preserve provides.

This community is going to be 5 star! Pad sites in the front of the development will provide walking distance access to restaurants and other retail options. I am considering options here for my mom as the location and flexible options for residents is perfect for her needs!
