We have had two positive experiences with Granite Mesa. My mothers husband spent the last year of his life there in 2022-2023, and was well cared for. Most of the staff knew him and my mother by name and were very good to them. She visited daily, and never had negative things to report. I also visited frequently. They care for the patient, and treat them like family. Recently, my mother went to Granite Mesa for rehab. All of the therapists are very skilled at their jobs. Nurses, CNAs, and anides all are great at their jobs, and their patients seem to love them.

Wow! What a great facility! Each time I have visited, the facility is clean, the staff members are friendly and welcoming. The residents are actively participating in activities, the nursing care is top notch and the therapy department is best in town. I highly recommend this wonderful place for your loved one.

Nothing but great things to say about this place. My mom was placed here after open heart surgery and had a freak accident and ended up with an open wound that needed a wound vac. The wound nurse and PA were amazing!!! Literally angels. Everyone was great from transporting to her appointments to making sure she was comfortable.

I had to transfer my father from a skilled nursing facility in Washington state to Granite Mesa so I could be close to him. He is 86 years old and was in bad shape. I cannot say enough about this facility! The management, the nurses, physical therapist, Dr’s, the cleaners, facility staff were unbelievable! Super nice people with big hearts! After one year in their care, we were able to send him to his home last month. He is doing really great! I truly believe that this facility was why! If for any reason my father needs care in the future Granite Mesa is where he will be headed! God Bless this facility-James Berg

They are attentive, respectful, and responsive, and they work hard to make sure people feel comfortable, supported, and treated with dignity. Granite Mesa is clean, well kept, and has a calm environment that feels inviting. The meals are also a positive part of daily life, which is something residents, families, and staff all value. My sister in law is a resident at Granite Mesa. This was our first rodeo to this kind of facility. We've found very caring people here. They do care about their residents. A wonderful group of little ladies that get so excited when I come to visit. I love them! They are always ready to eat, see their friends, and tell thier stories. I would recommend this facility. The staff is great, very understanding of the needs trying to be met. "Betty" is the most awesome person, she's always ready to roll. Whether she's planning a craft, decorating for parties or giving haircuts she is there!! Their administrator is on top of any issues you might have. He's a really good, caring young man. Thank U Granite Mesa for making this an easy transition for this family. You are all greatly appreciated!

Building is clean and the Atmosphere is Welcoming. Staff is Friendly, and very Helpful Activities for the Residents with Social Interaction are always happening. The Rehab staff are Kind and Patient with one on one needs being Addressed. Nursing Staff were Professional and available to assist with any needs or Concerns. The Administration is clearly involved with patient care giving support to staff creating the Healing warm atmosphere. Thank you for all you do every day !

My mom has had an amazing experience here. We were so heartbroken to say the least in the beginning to have had to give her up but they made the transition so easy for her mainly and us. I definitely recommend it. Thank you for taking care of our mom.

I can’t say enough good things about our experience at Granite Mesa. My Dad is 90 years old and had been hospitalized with Covid and Flu Type A. He left the hospital with severe malnutrition, very low protein levels. No one really expected him to survive. After moving him to Granite Mesa the tables turned! His rehab people PT Perla and OT Sherilyn had their work cut out for them. Any time Dad stood up his blood pressure would drop, they kept a close eye on his bp and oxygen while they worked with him. Slowly he became stronger. He made great progress to being able to walk up and down the hallway. He also had an OT by the name of Kendal that was very successful with him as well. His Speech Therapist was amazing and was able to get him off the pur©ed food that he disliked to mechanical soft food. I’m afraid I don’t know the name of his other speech therapist but she was incredible as well. The whole rehab staff seemed to take a great interest in his well being. Nursing staff on the hall were great as well, very sweet and patient I wish I could recall each of their names. They all meant a lot to Dad and he says he sure misses those girls but not enough to want to go back! I would have to say if you have an elderly parent in need of care you simply can’t get any better than the staff at Granite Mesa! We will always be grateful for their care.

Granite Mesa Health Center, Marble Falls TX is my brother's sweet hiding place in the middle of his health crisis. My brother has went through fell on street, fractured his tailbone, had blood infection from MRSA to bone infection from diabetes. He had been 3 hospitals in 2 months. The last hospital before Granite Mesa, asked him must go home even he still needs 4 more weeks of IV antibiotic treatment and couldn't move from bed to chair by himself. I called many Skilled nursing facilities in Austin TX, where I live, couldn't find any opening. Until spoken with Blanda, Ms. Administrator at Granite Mesa, she asked me many questions on the phone and my brother's id and information. In 2 days, she received approval from health insurance company, and accepted my brother into her team's care. The first day I visited Granite Mesa, I noticed everyone was joyful °! Nurses are working together to settle my brother, I saw an elderly resident sitting on a wheelchair, smiling and running her little feet to move around the hallway. Today, a nurse brought a cute tiny dog to let my brother play with. The most important, all staffs care about my brother's pain and recovery. They know that his tailbone fractured and painful, yet he still needs physical therapy to regain strength and living abilities. Before my brother has the therapy session, the nurse puts a pain pad on his tailbone, let him take some painkillers, and eating his meal. Therapy session for each day is one hour, I think it is enough for a tailbone injured person. All these great things are only 3 days I discovered in the facility. I believe the longer my brother stays the more amazing things we will see.

I had a really comforting visit at Granite Mesa Healthcare Center. The nursing staff and admin team were so kind and truly willing to go above and beyond for the residents and their families! The center itself feels warm and inviting, and you can tell people are well cared for. Their therapy team was also impressive and takes great care of patients coming in after a hospital stay for rehab to home. I truly recommend Granite Mesa for families needing long term care needs or therapy/rehab needs!

The Staff at Granite Mesa were very caring and kind to my mother while she rehabbed for hip replacement. PT, OT and Speech Therapy worked daily with Mom to help her regain her strength. A big thanks to Betty! She performed the impossiblegetting my mom in Granite Mesa the same day she was released from hip surgery. I would recommend and have recommended Granite Mesa to friends with elderly family needing rehab care. Update Oct 2025 Miss Betty at Granite Mesa helped our family again!!! Their ability to care for both of our parents together was the best gift. A huge shoutout to the entire staff. The professional , supportive and caring environment was life changing to our loved ones.

Granite Mesa in Marbke Falls, Texas is one of the best care facility's that goes above and beyond to make there residents feel comfortable and welcome. If they are just there for rehabilitation they do there best to get them back home in a confortable and timely manner, making sure that the individual is comfortable as well as the therapist being comfortable with them going home.

I have to say 3 only because they denied me access to calm my fiance down when he was in distress, whic constitutes an emergency in my book and which did result in 911 being called and him spending a few days in the hospital. If only I had been allowed to see him and calm him down, this might have been prevented. They' are some good people who work but some employees need to get a reality check!!!

All the people employed here from the cleaning staff to therapists to administration. Theyre the nicest, most helpful and professional I've had the pleasure to meet and see in action helping my dad. My mother was in 4 different spots in Austin, Lakeway, and Cedar Park. All 4 of those spots were negative and just seemed absolutely horrible to have to stay there and there was nobody as nice as the personnel at Granite Mesa. 5 stars plus Scott Z

I’m giving a 3.5 star review because the experience/care fluctuates between good and very good. The majority of staff members do a good job, however, when staffing is short and temps are required, the care falls below average.

I requested to be transferred to Granite Mesa for rehab after I had major surgery in Austin due to the fact I live in Marble Falls and my younger son was able to visit me as he couldn't do so while i was in Austin. The staff as a whole was amazing. The nursing staff is top notch and always so helpful. I go back at least once a week to see the staff and my former roommate, she's a sweetheart, and they are all glad to see how well I'm doing and I tell them it's thanks to them because they made my stay amazing.

Very depressed when I left Granite Mesa. We've been wait a long time to get my Mom's back fractures taken care off. We're waiting on Medicare to approve coverage. I've had several close church family friends end up at Granite Mesa for rehab and a couple for long term. All of them were extremely pleased with the staff, both on the floor and the administrative team. The food was top notch as was the care they received. They all recommended it to each other.
