My mom has been a resident at Orchard Park at Southfork for 1 1/2 years. When my family toured Orchard Park, we were welcomed with smiles & friendliness. Each staff member we passed, introduced themself & shared what their role was. The receptionists are informative, pleasant & very helpful. Tangie is always there for my mom. She wears many hats & helps wherever needed. I enjoy assisting Tangie & Tamra in craft activities & lunch outings. They are very kind & patient with the residents. We've had some hiccups, but when addressed, they are attended to. I visit mom often & enjoy talking with the residents & staff. I feel Orchard Park is a good fit for my mom. New friendships are being made.

My father has been a resident of Orchard Park since October 2023, after a few months it was necessary to move him to the memory care area. I am very pleased with the care and kindness of the staff. Jazmine was our first contact person who showed us around the facility. She's on top of any issues and really cares. Capri is in charge of the memory care patients and that is a huge challenge that she does well. They both take care of any concerns or questions that we have. I am pleased at how they respond and take care of issues. The staff is kind and caring to the residents. This is my 4th family member to live in a facility and so far Orchard Park has been our best experience.

This place is God sent! Don't know what I would have done without Jazmine & Shontel. Jazmine is very educated in what she does and provided many resources, she is wonderful! They have guided me through the process that I knew nothing about. I'm new to this. The Staff is amazing and always go over and beyond. Even if they don't know the answer they will find out the answer for you which I appreciate because it shows they care. The food is immaculate! I just love this place, its a 10/10. Go check them out, I would definitely recommend.

I have visited my friend, who resides here, every week. Ms. Debra always greets me with a smile. She has a great personality as do all the employees here. When there is a special holiday or event celebration, Ms Debra makes an effort to make sure I know about it and asks if I would attend. The employees in the memory ward are very curtious and are always happy to give my friend a hug as he's coming or going. Ms Debra always stops what she's doing to greet him as he's leaving. It is a very friendly place to visit.

We really like Orchard Parks at Southfork. The staff, from Ms. Debra the receptionist to the Director to the OT and PT to the activity coordinators have all been kind and polite. The facility is clean and Mom says the food is good. We like how they try to keep the residents engaged and mentally stimulated. They are very patient. There have only been a few minor bumps along the way of which the staff quickly addressed and rectified some small issues that arose. We definitely recommend this facility.

While my mother was dying in the hospital, the employees stole her desktop computer and 3 bottles of liquor. When confronted, the management said 'this has NEVER happened before' (a lie). They're response was they would do an internal review (which they did) and fired the individuals responsible for taking the liquor (nothing about the computer - 'We know nothing'). They're final position is: it's not our fault, we fired those responsible. If you want anything more, call the police (Brazoria County Sherriff). The Sherriff was called and they are pending an investigation (probably not a high priority - given the total dollar amount is about $2500). Would give a zero star if I could. Stay away from this place - very far

I came by to visit and drop off something for A Friend I was really surprised at the atmosphere there the staff is very nice and courteous it gave me a nice comfortable feeling even I wanna live there. I watched a Staff Member of Your Tangela Smith Smile Run around to make sure everyone had and have what they need the Residents there and Staff. Talking to All who needed her help. Orchard Park is a lovely! Ms. Wilder gave me a tour for my grandmother who lives in NYC and Out of all the communities I toured this one was the best! It smelled amazing, activities were going on and I saw plenty of directors on the floor as we toured, got to meet a few. My dear friend has lived at Orchard Park at Southfork for a few months for now. I am his P.O.A. I came to visit him every day. I have been very pleased with all aspects of their services from transportation, housekeeping, laundry, front desk service to Medication assistance in the nursing unit, etc.. As well as the way they provided care, supervision for a dear of my friend. He was treated with excellent cares and dignity. Everyone is very friendly, and extremely helpful. They work very hard to provide the best care possible for my loved one. The managers (Ms. Coco, Ms. Quincy, Jazmine, Jessica. .) are very accommodating and efficient to handle any issues concerns when the resident or family member if needed. I was impressed the doctor Michele Williams as well as Jessica. They tried to help resident's family to search and connect the proper insurance network, and also reached out to home healthcare to assure the safety, good medication orders, and best care provided for my loved friend. When I enter this place, always feel very welcome by Ms. Debra, Ms. Destinee and other staff members. I arrive there, I feel like I am coming home or to visit my friend's home. I highly recommend Orchard Park to anyone needing an assisted living/memory care home! Orchard Park at Southfork is a place where your love ones will be treated with respect, they will receive their proper attention, and will feels like Home with excellent care and attention, They are very supportive in every department! ! I toured this community looking for a place for my grandmother, I was at ease once I walked through the door and felt right at home! I spent over an hour there and it seemed to fly by, the residents were all smiles and full of life! I knew right away that this was the perfect community for her. My family is about to celebrate the one-year anniversary of my mom moving into Orchard Park at Southfork in Manvel, TX. Every family makes similar decisions with the best of intentions for their loved ones but you never really know how things will turn out. Well, we couldnt be happier with our decision. Prior to the transition, my mom was overwhelmed with trying to care for herself and the house she lived in for more than 6o years. Despite declining memory and mental processing capabilities, my mom has actually prospered during her time at Orchard Park. Shes healthier due to a regular eating pattern and improved diet as well as properly dispensed medications. The Orchard Park staff is absolutely wonderful from the director to the medical team to the activities director to the personal care providers to the food preparers to the maintenance staff. They take a personal interest in each resident above and beyond the business aspect of the relationships. The highest tribute I can pay to the Orchard Park staff is in regard to how it has handled the COVID-19 pandemic thus far. Theyve been diligent in sticking with distancing, hygienics and medical protocols designed to keep residents safe. If your family finds itself in need of identifying and securing excellent personal and medical care for an elderly family member, I strongly encourage you to give serious consideration to Orchard Park.

My family member has lived at Orchard Park at Southfork for a year. I want this facility to be outstanding, but overall, it is not. We have had problems with basic care. After reporting the incidents to on-site management many times, improvements have not been made. The on-site management acknowledges the incidents are inexcusable, but they keep occurring. We have even contacted upper management in California with no results. There are many absolutely outstanding staff members at the site. It is very unfortunate that a few employees have made this stay unpleasant.

Wonderful place. My mother-in-law spent the last 1 1/2 years of her life at this facility. Initially, she did not want to give up her independence and resisted moving to Orchard Park. After being there for one month, she got acclimated and loved it. They have many activities for the seniors which are all designed to keep them moving and mingling with the other seniors. The night before she passed, she was up to 9:30 pm playing dominoes. While the facility has some minor issues, overall the staff is caring and attentive. As my mother-in-law said, it was like being on a cruise ship, they wash your clothes, clean your room, cook for you, and entertain you. Our only regret is that she didn't get to spend more time here.
