in December, we had to move my mom into a memory care facility after trying to take care of her Myself and With the help of a caregiver, we chose Valiente Because of its location, size and Homie feel. The Staff Is wonderful . I truly feel that they care about each one of their residents! It was a hard decision, but Valiente is the best place for us.

Updating my review nearly a year later. The girls were wonderful with my grandma. Melissa is the true star of the show. As long as she is here, I would absolutely recommend your loved one be placed here. She makes sure the care part is done with empathy and compassion. She is a leader for all the other care techs. My experiences with the girls and the amount of love they showed my grandma will be cherished in my heart and always helped my peace of mind. I can't thank her enough, along with Shelby, Zoe, Jasmine and Denise to name a few. As for Stephen... it's a business. He does care to an extent, but it's a sales job. I witnessed it on a number of occasions. I feel sorry for some of the workers with his micromanagement. It's unfortunate that Melissa can't just take over and do it all, but God had her in the thick of it. The hardest parts of it (she is there). My grandma passed away last month and while I saw the girls have so much heartache, I never once got a, "my condolence", "sorry for you loss" etc. out of Stephen. That speaks volumes for me. She is just a vacancy to fill. A monthly payment. After everything we have been through, I absolutely take it personally. I am so happy I found Valiente. Stephen and his staff have given me so much peace of mind. I recently moved my grandma in and they have been so amazing with showing empathy and compassion. The former home was neglecting her and I can see a big difference now that she is at Valiente. Stephen and Melissa communicate with me and I feel informed on my grandma's daily living. The home is well kept, it doesn't have any bad odors, and you will always see staff working and participating with activities for the residents. I wish I would have found this home all along..that's what it is, a home. It feels like a home and you can feel the love inside.

My Mom moved into Valiente 6 weeks ago under very difficult circumstances and she immediately had an army of angels watching over her! She has quickly adapted to her new home, is gaining back her strength and seems very happy and at peace! All the staff take such good care of her, and she loves all their love and "pampering", i.e. a hug, a touch on her shoulder, a brush of her hair, painting her fingernails, etc. My sincere Thanks to Stephen, Melissa, and every single care giver and cook that takes care of her 24/7! I am grateful, beyond words. RH

Moved Mom to Valiente and couldn't be happier. She gets lots of one on one attention and you can tell the staff really cares about their residents. She's on hospice and requires a lot of attention but that doesn't faze them. I am there almost daily so I see how they interact with the residents. Residents seem happy and content. Great place. Can't say enough good things about them.

My mother-in-law recently passed away from vascular dementia. The last two and a half months were lived at Valiente. This home is the best. The staff took great care of her and the place is spotless. Even upon her death she was kept looking like an angel. We felt like family. We're thankful to have found this home for her to spend her final days.

My mom has vascular dementia. With the recent death of my father, I decided to move my mom to be closer to us. We chose Valiente. The staff is wonderful! The home is exceptionally clean. The residents eat home cooked meals that are prepared right in front of anyone in the living area. My mom is being treated with love and kindness. I highly recommend this facility. Stephen manages it well and he is truly keeping our loved one safe at the end of life.

My Mom moved into Valiente Care Home 4 months ago. We have been very happy with the care she is being given, the cleanliness and the over all staff. This was a huge decision for our family to make. One that we did not take lightly and thought about for a very long time. As a family, we can truly say we have seen many changes in my mom since she became a resident. Positive changes. She is happy and has made some friends. The atmosphere is very family orientated. The facility is set up like a home and does not feel institutional at all. The meals are prepared with fresh ingredients, which is really nice. I am very happy that we made this decision. We feel like my mom is in a safe place and getting good care.

My mother had been at Valiente for over 3 months. In all the senior homes in the area I looked at, Valiente was more spacious and did not give a crowded feel. It was important to me that the residents were not on top of one another. Also through those three years of ups and down, Valiente staff always took care of my mother. The food was almost always homemade and delicious. In closing I feel my mother was well care for at Valiente. I would recommend this facility for any loved one!!

My husband moved to Valiente Aug.15 2022. He had been at a previous Assisted living in Spring Tx. four years. Their care level detiorated to the point that he had six falls in a two week period and was left in a urine soaked bed for 12 hrs. We found Valiente that next day and moved him two days later. Stephen, the director assured us he would receive the amount of Care he needed on a daily basis while allowing him to maintain his dignity at all times and still allowing him to have as much independance with assistance as needed. No questions asked and certainly never having to call and call for assistance. The staff at Valiente are definitely there to care for the residents under Stephen's directorship. The residents are truly considered family. Ithas been a blessing that we found Valiente when we did. I can go to sleep every night knowing that he is safe and being cared for like I wish I could care for him at home. Sincerely Bld.

For all those who have tried the big beautiful facilities and they always fall short in some way because you're mostly paying thousands more for all their decorations. Come try Vilante Senior Living! This place is amazing in so many ways and has helped quite a few of my patients have a more personal and caring experience. They have home cooked food, actual caring trained staff that sits and interacts with the residents and the charming facility sits in the country easy off 249! Management actually listens to your concerns will make your loved ones stay the best it can be. The best things I love about this facility are the lower staff ratios and 24 hr care! I recommend how they go above and beyond for each and every resident!

I would like to thank Stephen, Melissa, and the staff for the exceptional care my mom receives on a daily basis. When I first entered to take a tour and meet everyone, I could tell by the atmosphere that I had found the right place. Staff were pleasant and interacting with the residents, the place was spotless, no odors, you could just feel the love and positivity in the air. Mom had a very hard time adjusting and establishing a routine due to her dementia, but Stephen and Melissa assured me she would eventually be okay. Thanks to their help, suggestions, perseverance, and support mom is doing better. Every one calls my mom grandma and I can tell they love her like she was their grandma. I appreciate the fact that the staff is trained and knows what their expectations are towards the residents and that if they are not living up to the standards of the facility, they are let go. I have peace of mind that the staff is doing their best caring for my mom and each individual resident. I visit frequently and if I have a concern, it is handled immediately, which I appreciate. Thanks again for helping my mom and family through this difficult journey.

It's almost been 2 months since my grandpa started staying here. When I started searching for homes for him I never thought I would find a place that made me comfortable leaving him there overnight or even long term for that matter. When I spoke with Steven to setup a meeting I already felt like we were headed in the right direction. Then after getting to sit down with him and get to know how much he cares about Valiente and all the residents I knew this was a good fit for our family. Steven has hired the best group of nurses and a few of them are absolute stand outs. They sit with him, hold his hand, respect him, give him lots of attention, always smile, put him in his cowboy boots and hat... it just makes my heart so happy seeing young women my age treating my grandpa the way I prayed he would get treated. They make sure he has plenty of good food to eat, snacks, his cup is always full if he gets thirsty, and plenty of blankets to keep him warm. I can't thank Steven and his determination to make Valiente as much like a home as possible. I don't mean nursing home, an actual home. They have gone above and beyond trying to take care of my grandpa. I couldn't have prayed for a better place. Cherry on top, it never smells like a nursing home either. These guys take pride not only in their job but their place of work as well. I cannot recommend this place enough if you need a place to bring your loved one. Thank you Valiente.

Most know dementia is a horrible disease. Thank you to the staff and leadership at Valiente. In their normal days of activities they fight cognition issues, misplaced anger, and major confusion. Whatever the struggle, they have made my mom feel safe, and I can rest far better now. Again thanks to Steve and his staff. Knowing the daily, maybe hourly struggle, there is a special place in heaven for folks so tolerant and living.

My FIL loves living at Valiente! He tells me every time I visit that they take good care of him and are all really nice. As you drive up their tree lined driveway, you get a peaceful feeling. The large trees provide shade for him to enjoy the day outside when he wants. It feels like home (instead of a hospital) which was the most important thing.

Valiente Senior Living is amazing. They cared for my uncle for the past several months. We were told to come visit whenever we wanted and we did. The staff is unbelievable and so skilled with dealing with dementia. They care for the residents like they are family. They engage them in activities, music, games and distract them when they are having a bad day. They are wonderful down to the lovely ladies that work in the kitchen. My uncle was happy and loved by the entire staff until his passing. My family will be forever grateful.

My grandmother is a fiercely independent woman and lived on her own until the age of 93. So I knew I had to find just the right place for her to live when I moved her. She moved into Valiente July 2019 and is so happy. Valiente is home to her. She loves being there and has grown close to all of the staff. The staff makes every resident feel loved, cared for and special. I love that the Valiente staff celebrates the holidays and birthdays with the residents. They participate in arts and crafts, games, music and many other activities. I am so grateful to have found a place where my grandmother feels at home.

My mother is at the Valiente Memory Care facility. She is well taken care of and loves the people. The Staff takes wonderful care of her and attends to all her needs. I can go there at anytime and find my mom very content and happy. If she needs anything the staff will call and let us know quickly. The grounds and home are beautiful.
