When my mother first came under my care several years ago, I did an extensive search/evaluation of assisted living facillities in the area. At that time Ranch Lake was my second choice. I was seduced by a larger 'brand new' facility run by a corporation and chose it over Ranch Lake. Turns out that was the wrong choice. I got frustrated with the impersonal service, empty promises and continuous merry-go-round of caregivers and management at the fancy facility. I finally took action and moved my mother to Ranch Lake 14 months ago. At Ranch Lake my mother was surrounded by loving and caring people. I had complete comfort and confidence in their care. It was the perfect place for my mother. I only wish I had moved her to Ranch Lake sooner.

When the dreaded time came to place our mom in assisted living, we looked no further than the Ranch Lake Assisted Living Facility. Unfortunately, living in another city, Mom fell and severely broke her ankle, requiring extensive surgery. From this point forward, she was unable to walk. It was then we began the search for an affordable and high-quality facility near us in Magnolia. Finding Ranch Lake Assisted Living was the blessing of a lifetime! We knew after the initial visit and interview; Ranch Lake would be Mom’s new home. During her time at Ranch Lake, we found a very professional and caring staff meeting her needs both physically and emotionally. The genuine dignity, kindness and empathy extended to her aided in her recovery from the ankle surgery and therapy. Mom often told us, “I’m so happy you found this Home and worked to provide me such excellent care. Everyone is so kind and gentle to me. I am having fun! After two years, Mom had two strokes which led to her eventual passing. One of her caretakers came to visit at the hospital, encouraging her to work on recovery and come back to Ranch Lake. The stroke and its damage were too acute to overcome. She returned to Ranch Lake and in association with a wonderful medical Hospice Service, Ranch Lake worked seamlessly with the Hospice Nurse to keep Mom comfortable, ministering to her in her final days. We lost our precious Mom in August 2022. We can never express the depth of gratitude for the blessing both she and we received from Ranch Lake in the level of medical care and love. We are forever grateful for the respect, love, and remarkable care Mom received in her final days. Please consider Ranch Lake Assisted Living for your loved one. Those who cared for her are now close friends whom we love and respect. This is a facility who knows the true meaning of Christ’s loving words: “Whatsoever You Do to the Least of My Brothers. “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you , whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me .” Matthew 25:40

My mother has been a resident for over a year now. Before Ranch Lake she was in a large upscale and beautiful facility , BUT , was not getting the type care she needed no matter how many times I complained or they raised the prices . Someone told me about Ranch Lake and the care is 100% better . It is family owned and operated, its not a big corporate machine that is just trying to make money and hire people who dont stay. The wonderful thing is the staff stays the same and they go above and beyond in their care I have NO complaints. Ranch Lake is a homey, family environment my mother thinks shes one of their family. I have no more problems with missing clothes her getting UTIs from lack of drinking water , or a staff that is indifferent. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Speaking from experience, beautiful buildings with high end furnishings does NOT translate to great care.. Ranch Lake is very nice as well but what it has over the others are owners and staff who are in the business for the right reasons with the right ethics and values. T. Brown

This is the first review I have ever written, so pardon me if I say too much. With that being said, I was stuck between a rock and a hard place when I stumbled upon Ranch Lake and I couldnt have felt more blessed that I did. There are not enough words to describe how I feel about Ranch Lake. To start with, in my time of desperation, the owners went above and beyond EVERY OTHER memory care-assisted living facility I had reached out to. When I went there, it felt like a I took a step back in time, when life was simple and a house felt like a home, cozy and inviting. The staff was kind, personable, and patient, and made everybody there feel like family (even me)! The best part was that my dad loved it! I feel like Ranch Lake is a secret I want to keep to myself, so I know there will be availability when another family member might need to retire, but this is a secret worth sharing. If you want to know you or your family member is going to be in good hands when the time comes, go home to Ranch Lake Assisted Living!

Need look no further, Ranch Lake Assisted Living is the place you are looking for your loved one. Once we toured the house and sat down with Adelina, Rueben and Lydia, we knew we had chosen the right place for our son. A very warm, compassionate family. Our worries were over when we knew how well he would be taken care of there. Lets face it, that is the biggest part in choosing a facility, how well they will be taken care of while being under someone elses care. It is home away from home! My husband and I are so grateful for their attentiveness. A wonderful atmosphere.

Excellent, Excellent! Definitely would recommend. Our father had a tough reserved and very independent personality. Within an hour he was comfortable and was socializing with the staff. They took excellent care of him. Words cant describe our gratitude for what they do!. Its like being at your favorite relatives home. Would definitely use them again! I recently moved my Dad here after hearing how wonderul it is from someone in the healthcare industry who had a patient that had lived here. This place is amazing! The care is unbelievable! My Dad has improved so much since he arrived and its because of their love and care! I have to pinch myself because his prior assisted living was nothing like this place! I highly recommend Ranch Lake if you have a loved one who needs care. You will not be disappointed! The home is immaculate, organized, home cooked delicious meals, and excellent care. We are happy, happy happy!
