Everyone at Parsons House LaPorte was extremely helpful and supportive getting my dad moved in. This is his first assisted living home and it can be a difficult transition, they have made it as easy as possible and better than expected!

Parsons House La Porte is a really wonderful place. The team there is very sharp and they know what they are doing. Every time I walk into the lobby there are always a lot of residents doing activities, talking, and laughing. There are also, always a lot of team members around working but also talking and joking with the residents. When I go there it always has the feel of a big Sunday dinner with all the family and everyone is buzzing about. While I dont know any of the residents personally I think that the seem like they are having a really great time, and they have a lot of pride in their community. They always ask me why I am there, and want to have a chat. I have had the opportunity to eat lunch there a few times and it is always so good. They give me a salad option or an entree option and everything is always fresh and delicious. I am so glad I have gotten to know this place. Its just wonderful!

My mother lived at Parsons house for just under 5 years before she went to be with the Lord. The care is excellent and the administrators are caring and reasonable. My mothers health declined with age and the level of care grew as was needed, they were kind and loving and she felt her caregivers were friends.

Though my mom, Nell Norman, was a residence for only a little over 6 months, she called Parsons House Home. My Mom and I thought highly of the staff there - she loved Otis (Dining Room), Chef Hymi, Robyn, CeCe, Gaynell, Marissa (these were some of her Caregivers that I spoke with regularly though there were many others Mom mentioned), Kaitlin, Colleen, Alma, Krista, Christine, Carrie, Dawn, Melody - just to name a few. I highly recommend Parsons House, and Im thankful for all the care and compassion they showed my Mom.

Mom has lived at Parsons House since 2014. The staff is caring and goes above and beyond to ensure Mom is happy and healthy. I dont know what I would have done without their support during some of the tough times.

If you cant live at home, this is the best place to be. The entire staff is so caring and kind. Each and every person goes above and beyond for the residents and families. Mom loves living here. Mary and Dawn do their very best to have activities to include everyone living there. Parsons House has given our family such a peace of mind knowing that our Mom is being cared for and loved so well. Just had to add to my review. Mom died in July. She died in her room surrounded by the people that had loved her for the past two years. The staff was so supportive of our family during moms last days and beyond. I cant imagine a more loving place to complete lifes final journey. Thank you!Comments

I love this place. The people who live here are special in their own way. All of the staff go out of their way to make this a HOME for each one of them. Its clean, happy, with lots to do and the food is lovingly and carefully prepared by an excellent chef with the help of her staff. Its nutritious but more importantly its delicious! Im so glad my mom chose Parsons House to live.
