As a patient in this facility, all I can say is DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!!! The Food is terrible, some of the medical staff do not conduct themselves with any compassion and a few are openly racist. Most patients here are not capable of accurate observation and cannot report violations of protocol and/or correct procedure as they do not comprehend any wrongdoing. I AM NOT IN THAT CATEGORY! I am observant and totally aware of my surroundings and situational environment. Currently I am documenting the violations here with pictures and recordings and will, when able, publicly disclose my findings and may file a lawsuit against this facility for neglect.. ,

As a patient here, I could not ask for better care from the nurses and other first line caregivers...HOWEVER, THE MANAGEMENT LEAVES A LOT TO BE DESIRED. There seems to be no real caring as to the quality of the food served at this facility... Although I receive a daily menu to fill out and specifically write my requests on that menu, those requests are seldom followed and my requested over easy eggs are hard and rubbery, meals are usually cold and plating is sloppy. I know this is not a 5 Star Hotel, but it would be nice if the Kitchen would just put a little effort into properly preparing the requested meals for us old and bored folks that have nothing much to look forward to in our daily routines except a good meal to keep our spirits high.

I am a Caregiver with Visiting Angel's and had the pleasure of spending the day with a client in the Assisted living part of the Rosewood for the first time. I arrived at 6:45 AM and the ladies at the front desk were so friendly. They walked with me to her room and pointed out where everything was. My client was not able to eat in the dining room and wasn't hungry until after breakfast was already over. I walked to the kitchen and a very friendly young man was able to provide me with the food she had requested. Each time I passed an Employee in the hallway I got a smile and friendly hello. The young lady working the PM hallway shift offered to start a load of laundry. Absolutely wonderful experience.

I really appreciate this place for my dad. We moved him in last week and they seem to be taking very good care of him. We are able to decorate the room the way he likes. He is feeling more and more at home with both the nursing staff and the other residents

I was there on official business and the workers there were so nice. Very helpful. Very clean..inside and out. If my parents were still alive, l wouldn't mind them residing there.

My family were celebrating a milestone birthday for our Mom, we were furnished a private meeting room conveniently appointed with tables and chairs, the director came by to be sure everything was ok and was there anything we needed. We were pleased with the cleanliness and ambience in the community. My Mom's room is appropriate and everyone has been very attentive in assisting our legally blind Mom with whatever assistance she requires. Thank you Rosewood for making our Mom's transition from total independence to level two care, as far as we can determine she is Happy ! That's our wish!

Not only are the Residents happy and a pleasure to be around, but, the Staff on all levels are too! I love being able to see that there are still ALF/SNF that are clean, professional, welcoming and supportive in helping the elderly and disabled and their families feel at home and cared for! Great place to reside and call home!

I would recommend Rosewood SNF! The staff there shows compassion, care and love for the patients they care for! I was very pleased with the care my loved one received while there for rehab!

The building is beautiful, the landscaping is well manicured, and the nice is just as nice. It has a very welcoming and homelike feeling. As soon as you walk in the staff greets you and treats you like family. Everyone is knowledgeable and takes the time to get to know you on a personal level. I have nothing but great things to say about the Rosewood Retirement Community. If you are looking for a place to call home you dont have to look any further. Dont pass up an amazing opportunity.

The Assisted Living has a very clean and warm environment. The administrator is very caring and attentive to the residents there. The atmosphere is homely. There are petty of activities to the resident occupied throughout the day. This isnt the same Rosewood as before, new administrator and caregivers and maintenance.

I am currently doing volunteer work at the Rosewood and I am very pleased with the staff here at the facility. Although I am only a volunteer, the staff has welcome me aboard as I was a member of the team. My mother was a patient here two years ago. Her recovery was a great success and I owe it all to a great team i.e. the nurses, administration, dietary, maintenance, CNAs, Mrs. Mindy, transportation, house keeping, and all the other who I have not mentioned. Thank you for all that you do.

The Rosewood staff and facility are exceptional. They take the time to listen to our needs and make accommodations as needed to ensure that my family is cared for at the highest level of excellence. The director is attentive to the needs of the residents and is very active within the building. As a whole, the staff tries their very best to go above and beyond for the seniors, even hosting fun activities like a casino day, for the residents. I would highly recommend Rosewood to anyone looking for senior care!

This is by far the best nursing facility in the Killeen, Harker Heights and Copperas Cove area. The nursing staff genuinely show care and compassion for the residents. The therapy department does a great job rehabilitating residents to get them back on their feet.

Every time that I come into the skilled facility and the nursing staff are very friendly and great. The environment there is warm and inviting and smells wonderful. The staff members are always engage with patients. There is always something going on there rather it a crafts or music ( dancing). Overall, the patients look and seem happy.

I have been in this facility numerous of times with church (visiting with the patients) and attended their recent Halloween event (on other side). The Rosewood skilled side has an amazing, professional and caring nursing staff. The residents are always clean and the building looks and smells good. The staff is always welcoming. I truly recommend this facility if you have anyone in the central Texas area who need nursing or rehab care.

Rosewood nursing home and assisted living are both beautiful buildings. I took a tour and was blow away by the building and the staff. Everyone was so nice! I highly recommend both places!!

My grandmother is a current patient at The Rosewood and she couldnt be happier. She absolutely admires Kevins and Cynthias (both CNA) generosity and how proficient they are at what they do.. Mary (RN) for that hallway as well as Robin (LVN) and Wendy (LVN) always keep us up to date on her progress here. Thank you to all The Rosewood staff we truly appreciate all that you do for my grandma.

I left to move to Missouri but I think about the rosewood all the time. Working there has taught me a lot about patience, friendliness, and organization, as well as multitasking. The staff there are very friendly and will do anything to put a smile on the residents faces. I've never worked for a better company than the Rosewood. I would encourage everyone to check it out for a loved one as well as nursing staff to apply.

Very clean. The staff from nurses to janitorial all very pleasant to interact with. They all took excellent care of my mom for the month she was in rehab. Tommy the administrator was very helpful and attentive to our needs.

My husband had a stroke and heart attack March 21, 2019; after a lengthy stay in ICU and on the Heart ward at Scott and White Hopital in Temple he was sent to The Rosewood Retirement Community, BEST decision EVER!!! The ENTIRE STAFF from Janitorial, CNA's, Nursing, Administration, Food Service, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, etc. were AMAZING!!! EVERYONE were so helpful, thoughtful, professional troughout his stay. He is home now as of a few days ago (May 15), but if he or I ever need to stay in Rehabilitation or Nursing Facility again, PLEASE LET IT BE HERE!!!! If you have a loved one that needs the help we would definately recommend The Rosewood Retirement Community in Killeen, Texas. I wish there were a "100 Stars" instead of 5, these guys are "skies limit". We are even going to try going back to "Volunteer" once a week wherever we can be of use.

My dad got to go home today after several weeks of rehab. My family is extremely thankful for the dedicated employees of Rosewood. The staff gathered at the doors to applaud my dad as he walked the red carpet on his way home. Many thanks to you all.
