I works like to take the time to thank the cleaning staff and washing staff. They have been wonderful in the cleaning of my Mother’s room as well as making it nice to come into the facility. I don’t know all their names by Ms. Grace has been wonderful in helping to keep the staff going and I see her working just as hard. It’s the staff like that behind the scenes that need to be thanked and appreciated for their hard work! I’m grateful for all you do! Thank you!

We tried to get my mother in law transferred from Georgia to Texas. Mary told us that TexasMedicare would only pay for it if the patient is legally blind, or demented. That was a lie. Medicare is only interested in financial things, another member of that facility told us so. We will keep trying, but mom's never gonna end up in this home. We think that they prefer blind, or demented people, because they can't see, understand, or report any wrongdoings by the facility. Shameful.

Great staff! Mary is extremely knowledgeable and accommodating to all inquiries on procedures and expectations for families. Rheashal is the perfect person of hospitality and tact to enforce the healthy safety of the residents as he greets the visitors and instructs them on the procedure to be admitted. Hall staff on 200 wing seem to smile cheerfully beneath their masks

I have been a patient at this facility for about 7 weeks and have been well cared for. The staff has shown me what care is really about M Williams has been quite efficient in taking care of administrative needs. All of the nurses have been good, but a few have been exceptional. Sonya, Alicia, and Felicia, in particular.

My grandmother has moved into this facility a few weeks ago and we were very skeptical about the move but WOW Have they surpassed our expectations. Everyone has been very helpful and understanding of my grandmothers situation. They call to check up on us and to see if there is anything they can do to make her stay even better. The nurses, aides, therapists, management are all very sweet and professional every time we come by to see her. My grandma is happy and says that she never wants to leave this place which makes my heart full because she has made a 360 from what she was at the last place she live in. Thank you Indian Oaks staff for making my granny feel at home ♥ And giving us peace of mind !

Most folks dont understand the work behind LTC. I have been doing LTC for 34years and Indian Oaks is one of the best homes in the area, and I know the area ,been here since the dinosaur roamed the earth . Im still here after 4 years 8 months. I have since I went to nursing school wanted to work with the elderly, and now I get to from my hometown. It can not get better than that. 9-11-2020 remembering , cont to be here at Indian Oaks and appreciating the staff even more with covid 19. Stay safe..and keep others safe also.

My Mother has been a resident in Indian Oaks since January 2021. I am impressed with the staff, as they are very courteous and professional. Always ready to answer my questions about my Mother and available when needed. My mom is happy here and I would not be able to work if I had to worry about my Mothers care, I thank them for that. Being able to come and visit with my Mom and being greeted with a smile, makes it comfortable in the facility and makes it welcoming. Thank you for caring for my Mother!

Im seeing a great new direction with Indian Oaks, newly renovated common area and nurses station. New Clinical Team with a sense of Quality as a focus. Excited over the re-opening in phases for families and volunteers. Safety is a priority.

Such a uplifting post-COVID atmosphere. Residents are out and about enjoying their lives, family members are visiting frequently, spirits are so positive. Changes are evident.... there is a great sense of unity and everyone seems happy. It is nice to see and very heartwarming.

The place has recently changed with a new administrator and staff. In fact while I was there the other day all the residents were outside enjoying a party with music and various food items. I realize Covid-19 has changed all facilities. But this one seems ready for a big rebound. The residents were all smiles. Great job staff in caring for those precious folks!

Although my time there was short,I truly feel blessed to have met and worked with such great people. The nurses, aids, therapists and med crew are amazing. The activities director always has great things planned. Our administrator is very kind and compassionate. The maintenance and janitorial staff work tirelessly to keep the facility running. The kitchen crew is awesome. The business, HR, admissions offices are very helpful and always take time to assist in any way they can.

My dad went to this facility for physical therapy and the staff did great with him. Hes now back at home doing well. The staff was friendly a d the facility was well kept.

I know things are very difficult for our residents and their families with everything thats going on so I just wanted to say a few encouraging things. First and foremost we have some of the best residents and families in our facility and are blessed to have them. Second, we have a great team in this building that work so hard to make all of this bearable and bring a smile to the faces of everyone around them. Third, Im proud to be a part of this team and to be able to help take care of all the people in this building and their loved ones. Good afternoon everybody i am very honored to be working here at Indian oaks i started off here 2 years ago working as a CNA on the memory care unit and we have a wonderful team that we work with our resident are very well taken care of the staff make sure the resident have what they need and been here for 2 years i would not want to go work any were else i am now the Activity Director on the memory care unit and i just love all my resident we just have a wonderful team here at Indian oaks that i love to work with.

As a former employee, I am in awe of the staff. They work tirelessly to take care of residents and their families. The aids, nurses, business office, housekeeping staff, PA, PT-OT-Speech and receptionist are amazing. The Administrator, Lauren, is an excellent boss, best person I have ever worked for. I will always treasure my time spent at Indian Oaks.

My father was there and due to the lack of care he passed away he fell twice in a week and was so dehydrated with covid 19 and they did nothing. They finally sent him to the hospital but by this time it was to late they could not save him. I have never dealt with such rude people they will not give their names and are clueless 1 supervisor tried to say the reason they did not send him to the hospital sooner was because he had a DNR I had to remind her that was after he had passed not why he was still alive and violate HIPPA like no other. We have them 1.5 hours to get his personal items together not get this my dad had been in the hospital for a week and they had not even cleaned his room, remember he had Covid 19 so his room should have been cleaned immediately to protect everyone. When I challenged them on how incompetent they were they told me that they were going to call the cops on me yet I had already called and arrangements to pick up his stuff. I would not suggest this place to anyone I will be turning them in to Medicare and every organization I can think of no one deserves this

They began to be a good nursing home but sense COVID-19 has hit its like all Protocol went out the window. Im getting really fed up that someone who isnt even on my grandmothers list of need to know, is able to can get more information then the medical power of attorney can. So Im being nice on a rating for this place but Im not happy with their way of handling COVID-19 and keeping family members informed who have to be informed.

The other day I had visited the place with my friend who was there with her grandmother. Upon entering the place I noticed how clean and attentive all the assistants are. I also had the pleasure of meeting someone by the name of Caitlyn. She helped make my visit as awesome as possible. She also offered me a beverage to drink. It is definitely family filled.

I have been with Indian Oaks for rehab and I am a current temporary resident. I have had good experiences and bad. Everyone has bad experiences at some place or another. You cant let a few bad experiences dictate your overall opinion. The Indian Oaks facility saved my life. I could complain and also praise all aspects. Overall, the staff is professional and have an honest concern for my care and well being. I will always recommend Indian Oaks as a potential choice for patient rehab and care.

I have worked at Indian oaks in the memory care unit going on five years now, and it is truly a great place to work! We have a very dedicated team working hard to provide the residents the best care possible despite daily obstacles. I view the residents as an extension of my family, and I look forward to seeing them everyday. I have always said This is their world and we are just living in it. I take pride in caring for our Dementia/Alzheimers patients!

This facility is absolutely amazing! They are always quick to respond to residents and their needs. If there is an issue they are very quick to get it resolved. The Administrator and Admission Coordinator are an amazing team!!!!

Indian Oaks Living Center is one of the best facilities I had the pleasure of working. The only reason for living was my contract came to an end. The staff are great. The Social Work Department is excellent. Overall, it is an AWESOME facility.

I came to visit a family friend a few days ago and I am so glad that she is getting such great care. The staff was working hard and seem to be very caring. They have a beautiful green space with a garden that the residents tend to. I was very impressed.

The only facility in Killeen for mentally stable patience. Of course low wages and mediocre benefits contribute to the type of care your loved ones will receive. There are a few exceptions within the staff that shine brightly.

The level of care here has been great! My mother enjoys all the activities and music. The new administrator has helped turn this place around I'm much more happier with my mother staying here.

Indian oaks is a great facility with staff that truly cares for its residents. They have an amazing director of nursing who has been in this business for over 20 years! The building is ran by an amazing administrator who puts patient care above everything else. If you want a place that will treat your loved one like family this is the place for them.
