Beautiful place inside and out! The facility is clean and has a lot to offer. The staff are upbeat and provide compassionate care. Residents are often engaging with each other in a variety of fun activities.

The River Point staff is very welcoming and warm to be around. The residents and staff always have smiling faces and autmatically make you feel at home and like family. I love how active the staff is with their Memory Care side and how they always make sure they are apart of all the fun activites going on in the Assisted Living side.

Since my wife & I have been here at River Point, we've enjoyed every day of their services like restaurant type meals, activities, laundry, delivered mail, live entertainment and transportation. The staff makes us feel fight at home. Thank you.

I have been looking for a place for my mother. Had an appointment with Rachel London a few weeks ago. The facility is beautiful, clean and full of busy activities going on. Great smells coming from the dining room! Once I saw it on my own I knew that this was where I wanted my mother to live in her own apartment. I had another appointment with Rachel London and visited with Rhonda, who is the manager of all medical care. She was very caring with my mother. My mother was made to feel comfortable immediately loved River Point of Kerrville. She couldn’t believe how spacious and beautiful it was. All of the staff is extremely kind and caring. They even have a beauty shop that offers everything from a shampoo, cut and color all the way to manicures and pedicures. Now my mother is moving in next week and we can’t wait to see what awaits her as she begins a new chapter in her life.

Absolutely love the facility and everyone in it. Memory Care does their best to ensure residents have enough stimulation through activities and is highly conscious of the meals being served. Assisted Living is always active with trips out to the farmer's market, rides, painting, music, gardening, etc. The staff is wonderful and caring. Management is always aware of things that might need attention and addresses them quickly. All residents, whether in memory care or assisted living, is made to feel a part of the family, with much love and respect.

Selecting a care resident for a loved one is an incredible responsibility. Having the right questions is challenging in itself. River Point made this an easy choice for the care of my mother of 98 with dementia and now wheelchair bound. I feel confident that as frail and vulnerable as she is, River Point has earned my confidence in placing her in their care by providing for all her physical needs.

When my mother had a stroke that left her unable to walk in 2018. I contacted a physician friend who's specialty is nursing home care. I asked him," what is the best place" and was told, Riverpoint of Kerrville. The management team has changed since her move in but is a better team. My mother can be a demanding and bossy 94 yr old. The care team members have been very good with her. She has never complained about the food as she did at her last place and pre Covid we ate with her quite often and enjoyed the food! She has recently transitioned from assisted living side to memory care. That was handled very well and has been a good move. I highly recommend this facility as a place for your family member. Helping ones parents exit this world knowing theyre loved with grace and dignity is a tall order. River Point of Kerrville Assisted Living-Memory Care helped me do just this with my parents. Valerie Newport, Concierge, answered the phone the day I frantically called while sitting in my car at the HEB parking lot. She suggested I come and take a tour. I walked into the building and was surprised by the cleanliness of the building and friendliness of all the staff. I am thinking to myself, I would move into this place. I put down my deposit the next day and Dad moved in on April 26, 2019. Mom was next to follow in July of 2019. The support staff loved my parents like they were their own family. Bodies began to dwindle and first I lost my Mom 9-28-19. Then Dad started going downhill. There were many hard days for me to face. Stephen Gonzales, Community Relations, provided comedic fodder and great Hugs. Dad finally passed on the night of 10-24-19. Executive Director, Luci Nicley, took the time to come sit with me during his final hours holding my hand telling me everything was going to be OK. You know what? It was OK. I cannot say enough good things about River Point, class act. All staff members at every echelon has my undying gratitude and my heart.

The place is BEAUTIFUL and so clean and fresh smelling. The chef makes fresh homemade cookies every day for the residents. They even have a Happy Hour event with socializing and libations. My mom just checked in. The staff is so wondeful you cant even imagine it. We got there after dinner had been served and sweet Chef brought Mom a late supper prepared fresh. The residents all look happy and well cared for and all day into the evening you can see all of the kind and attentive staff talking with, walking with or just visiting the elderly people. My mom actually said, I feel like I died and went to Heaven. Sincerely, I cant thank the staff and owners of River Point enough. 5 Stars- Hands Down- best place of its kind I have ever seen.

Everything has improved from since we moved in. It started out as a three star, but now I would rate it as a five. We have changed the home health care provider and everything is going much more smoothly now. The staff is very friendly and caring about my husband's needs. The food is good overall. I have dined with my husband and they provide well-balanced meals with lots of variety. They plan many activities, but since he is non-verbal he doesn't participate in all of them, we do play bingo quite often. The community is well-maintained and clean. He has a nice room, we are still working on it to get it the way he wants it.

The price for this place was out of our price range. It was bigger than what we would have liked. We wanted a smaller place because my mother gets confused a lot and we did not want her getting lost. It was a nice place, just not what we were looking for.

The facility is really nice and open. The staff are super friendly and ready to accommodate. The food is good and my loved one enjoys it. The community is kept clean. i feel that they are under staffed, because it takes them to long to respond to the residents when they ask for help.
