Finding a senior living community with caring and passionate staff is truly a blessing. I am thankful everyday for everyone at The Village of the Heights. Their compassion, empathy and love they show to their residents is apparent from the second you walk in. We are grateful to have our mom in wonderful hands.

My mom is in memory care at Village of the Heights. She started in assisted living in 2018 and moved to memory care during the onset of Covid. It’s difficult, to say the least, when a loved one is suffering from some form of dementia, and there have ups and downs. I want to take a moment to say that Sherippa has done an amazing job managing memory care this past year. She regularly sends me pics of my mom enjoying activities and outings and she is very responsive to any concerns or questions I may have. It means so much to have good communication with the team that is caring for your family member and to know they want to see your loved one smiling. Sherippa has gone above and beyond in making a big difference in memory care.

Cherri Washington, Director of Sales & Marketing, have my mother and I a tour a few weeks ago of the Village of the Heights. What a difference it makes to know that your senior loved one will be cared for by such kind people. As we worked our way through the facility, the residents seemed content and happy. I firmly believe that the staff affects the happiness of the residents. If your loved one wants to live independently or if they need extra care, the Village of the Heights offers those services as well. Cherri is warm, welcoming and put my mom right at ease, immediately.

Client lived in two bedroom... Great service from staff...clean living environment...
December 2021
My mom has been at The Village since September. When she arrived, she was pretty much bedridden, ate very little and was non-ambulatory. She now has a great appetite and eats downstairs in the dining room, gets in and out of bed on her own and all in all doing very well. I attribute her remarkable improvement to the very able and loving staff at The Village. She's settling into a good daily routine and is much more content these days. If you have a parent or loved one needing a well-staffed assisted living environment, where everyone who works there truly loves their residents and wants them to excel and live to the optimum, The Village is one to seriously consider!

Very good location.
December 2020
My mom has lived here for about 8 months. The staff is the best! Everyone is kind and respectful and helpful in this very uncertain time of Covid-19. They have been able to keep the residents engaged all while keeping them socially distanced and safe. Thank you to everyone at Village of the Heights!

My family member has been a resident for 1.5 yrs. The staff is kind, caring and considerate. The kitchen and dining room staff provide good food and very special service to ensure residents are well fed and comfortable. They remember each residents preferences. Its beautiful how they care. The receptionist staff are courteous and always willing to assist. The facility is kept clean and the nursing staff does a good job. The activities have been very engaging until this pandemic has sadly arrested (for the most part) the feeling of community. All in all the Village People provide a nice home!

Tonya (Executive Director), Teresa and Syel are attentive, easy to get a hold of and quick to address any of moms needs. I couldnt think of a better, safer place for our mother. The Village of the Heights Assisted Living Center is a lovely place for seniors to live. My husband and I enjoy the variety of activities provided by Laurie Gagne, the Activity Director for the residents. We enjoy playing traditional bingo along with new games such as Pokéno, Rummnikub and various card games. A variety of arts and crafts are provided for the residents. Laurie Gagne, the Activity Director is great to provide the Country Store where residents enjoy shopping with activity coupons for fun and useful items. It is wonderful to get to know other residents through the variety of activities we can be active in. We enjoy volunteering for special holiday activities. Hopefully the Covid -19 Virus will be gone soon so outside adventures can return.

After visiting 4 nursing homes for Mom, TVOTH was an obvious choice for me. Not only is the facility beautiful, clean and spacious offering a wide variety of activities for its residents, the entire staff is unsurpassed in professionalism, organization, and hospitality. Luis and Sunny made sure to stick with me through the entire process, and with Luis help we crossed all Ts and dotted all Is in record time. Luis has gone above and beyond to make sure everything is in place to provide a comfortable new home for Mom, plus assisting me in finding a hospice facility for Dad. I cannot thank him enough! He is an angel in my eyes, and he and the staff at TVOTH will always be in my prayers. Most importantly, in Moms own words: I feel like Im in Paradise. Highly recommended!!

The Village of The Heights is like a beautiful hotel. The staff is friendly & caring and the place has a very pleasant atmosphere. The daily activities are fun for anyone to participate in. Margarita Guzman (Director of Sales/Margarita) is an advocate for the residents there & will go out of her realm of responsibilities to help them. It's a true gem located in the Heights.
