I recently visited The Village of Meyerland for a networking event. It is a lovely community. The food and hospitality were fantastic.

I moved my parents in three months ago (mom in memory care and dad in assisted living) and have been really pleased with the decision. The staff are amazingly kind and always gracious. One particular day we came back from a long day at the hospital with my mom and as a family, we were spent. Patrice was on her way out and maybe my face showed that day, but she took care of us to get my mom settled for the evening. There were no words for how much that meant to me and my dad. The staff works hard and I appreciate everyone of them! I would recommend this to anyone with family in the same position. Basic notes: the place is clean, organized, full of smiles and always helpful when my parents need something.

My wife and I recently toured and researched The Village of Meyerland on behalf of my 87 year-old mother. We were very impressed by the community, including the facilities, the residents and the staff. All-in-all, a wonderful place! We visited several different properties and none impressed us as much as The Village Of Meyerland. Michael took us in and was very accommodating and answered all our questions. He along with the other team members do an outstanding job of organizing and making us feel comfortable with the decision we made. I visited Village on the Park “ Meyerland today and had such a heartwarming experience. The team is amazing”friendly, welcoming, and truly engaged with the residents. While I was there, the memory care residents were dancing to music, and the joy and energy in the room were beautiful to see. The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed. I met a lovely resident who proudly gave me a tour of her room”she was so happy and said she absolutely loved living there. I am so happy to be moving my sister to The Village of Meyerland. It all started with Marci Walters who listened to my concerns and helped me find the perfect new home for my sister. She introduced me to Michael Edelshtain and Mandi Kelso who were wonderful and found just the right accommodations for her. They were so kind and helpful getting us all set up. I also consulted with Dr. High Smith on my sister's care and I know she's in good hands. I'm so excited to be part of such a caring and vibrant community. The staff and residents all seem so happy. If I could give them 10 stars I would. This community is full, of the most professional, caring, compassionate, and kindhearted staff! My husband-and-wife clients had reserved a place in the independent living and were waiting for the apartment to become open. During that time Mandi Kelso reached out to me and talked to me about the many benefits of the Village of Meyerland. Her person-centered approach made all the difference; my clients weren't a number or a quota, they were instantly family! During the tour process everyone knew who we were and greeted us with open arms. The community updates are GORGEOUS! The community is clean, the food is fantastic, and the energy is enticing! Needless to say, they are making the move. Thank you for giving us an experience we didn't even know we were missing! Village of Meyerland sets the bar extremely high, thank you for making a difference for this family and many others, I am sure.

We have been very happy with the Village of Meyerland. Mandi and Michael have gone the extra mile for us with my father. He is doing well with the transition and is enjoying the therapy. They are in the middle of a remodel and it is going well. I also recommend the nurse practitioner, Mariana. She has been great and we appreciate her level of care. The Village of Meyerland seems like an excellent facility. The Memory Center in particular offered memory management support and activities that were as good as I’ve seen anywhere. I took the tour with Michael, had my Mother evaluated long distance by Tamara, and I agreed to sign up Mom. However, that’s when I got to watch my Mother’s dementia accelerate at another facility in North Carolina. My sister was a local near the existing facility and she shut down Mom’s move. Mom’s health continues to decline quickly and I wish she had gotten to the Village of Meyerland where I strongly suspect they could have made a difference. It was at this moment that I needed to go back to the Village of Meyerland and ask that my commitment to move there be cancelled. I had paid my deposit and signed a contract with a 60 notice period. VOM had me in their crosshairs fair to rights, but they let us back out before we started. These people really care about your family and your situation and I kick myself that my Mother is not there now! Kudos to Mike and Tamara and the other staff that I interacted with.

I was working with the Village of Meyerland to relocate my Mother from a facility in North Carolina to their facility. They were terrific to work with. Michael Edelshtain was particularly skilled at knocking down potential impediments and pointing to the numerous benefits of their facility. We would save money on our monthly costs. We would have access to memory-specific care for my Mother, who is currently in a generic home without such benefits. The staff seemed competent in providing activities and monitoring that would suit my Mother's needs. The Village of Meyerland had resources to support us with temporary furniture and other assistance during the transition period. Furthermore, the facility is not far from my house - much better than the long drive required in North Carolina for my closest sibling to get to my Mother's current facility. In short, it was a no-brainer for us to relocate to this facility. Yet, despite my best intentions, my siblings changed their minds and weighed in to block my efforts to move my Mother to Texas. There was no rational reason for them to do so, but often, our management of a parent creates conflicts among siblings that have little to do with finances, services, or activities. The Village of Meyerland was sympathetic and professional about this genuine change in our plans. Contractually, they could have hammered us. The fact that they didn't says much about their genuine concern for my mother and our family considerations. I hope the situation changes so that my family can take advantage of their very impressive services. Still, in the interim, I believe they would be fair in working out a subsequent agreement with me if such an opportunity reemerges for us.

Did a tour initially with Micheal, and immediately felt the attentiveness to detail about what I was looking for, for my parents. Tamara assisted with a second tour and was very informative and knowledgeable about next steps to get the ball rolling! They both provided additional assistance with navigating parents who are in rehab facilities at the time, but will be moving post-rehab. They have checked on them (and me) to ensure that they were taken care of at the rehab and are still comfortable with the major transition to assisted living! I appreciate the personal touch (watering parents plants while they aren’t there). Looking forward to parents stay here

I cannot speak for the entire company but this location is absolutely amazingggg! The staff is super helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to the safety and well being of their residents. The Village is kept very clean, both the public areas as well as my husband’s rooms. The facility is attractively decorated, very pleasing to the eye. The staff is friendly, polite, helpful, and timely when summoned. I’ve had personal interaction with the director of Resident Care (and nurse) Sumera Khuwaja as well as the Director of Life Enrichment Candice Hardie. They have been both pleasant and knowledgeable and very patient with my many questions. Ms. Khuwaja has been most proactive in navigating the insurance coverage maze for my husbands therapy. I’m very grateful for the assistance I’ve received at The Village of Meyerland during this difficult time in our lives.

One word WOW. When setting up an appointment For a tour it was pretty easy and simple. When you first get there, your greeting with a warm welcome by The concierge. Then I was welcome to buy the sales rep really nice respectable person. They took me to the third floor in which I seen lots of staff members who greeted me with a warm welcome. I also seen staff members conversing with residence. We then walked past the dining room which looks spectacular. I was then greeted by the chef and the dining room manager. Those two look like a perfect duo. Saw the weight staff interacting with the residence. Then seen residence playing some fun activities. This place really seems like All the staff members care and respect their residence. That is something I can really appreciate when it comes to taking care of my parents. I’m really looking forward to moving my parents here. And don’t get me started on how amazing everything looks to the fine dining to the garden on the patio, to the little park on the side of the building, to the spacious Rooms and bathrooms.This is a nice elegant place.

The staff at The Village of Meyerland has been truly wonderful, especially with the passing of my mom. They have been diligent checking on dad and making sure he is cared for and loved. Before my mom passed, they helped to get dad to see mom at the hospital and rehab. They understood how hard it was for them to be separated. They even had a surprise celebration for them! Life Enrichment continues to search for new and engaging activities for all the residents. And, every staff member is always genuinely smiling throughout the day, that speaks to the power of good people, good leadership and team building. With Mandi the newest Executive Director on-board all things are possible for this community!

I recently had the pleasure of meeting and working with Sumera K., Assistant Director of Residential Services to coordinate care for my uncle and his wife who are residents of VOM. Sumera is a caring, competent professional who works effectively with a range of interdisciplinary team members both inside and outside the facility. She provides compassionate care and it is clear her priority is the comfort and enjoyment of residents. VOM is amazing as others have said; however the exquisite personalized care is top notch. As a doctoral level clinical psychologist, I am familiar with the challenges of treating geriatric patients and the myriad of issues associated with caring for them and their families. SHOUT OUT TO SUMERA!!!

Some of the people working there always complaining about having to work on days off and never having enough supplies to do there job than I usually go pick up mom and take her to church and then out to eat cause she said that the food in cafeteria is not that good maybe that's why I don't eat there, I ate there one time and she's right it's not that good, than I stay watch the Astros with her and she starts yelling at the Astros for not playing good and come in to complain that yelling at her and getting to loud and My mouth never opened, they say that I was to loud and I'm disturbing the that I was getting to loud and disturbed are them cause they won't let people have a good time watching the game

My parents moved to Village of Meyerland in October 2023 and really enjoy living there. The staff has creative themed events for residents and family. My parents enjoy the exercise classes and daily activities especially chair yoga and painting. My dad loves making bracelets for staff and residents. I have attended Thanksgiving Brunch, Cinco de Mayo celebration, Mardi Gras which were alot of fun. We moved here in October 2023. Everyone here is so pleasant and friendly. The staff is always so caring and ready to help out whenever necessary, and always done with a smile. There are always lots of activities to choose from. We try to keep as active as we can. We enjoy the special events such as the Casino night and the Cinco de Meyerland that were recently held. We know more will be planned and look forward to those. Village of Meyerland has exceeded our expectations and looking forward to more fun times here! Roz and Norm Suchart

Wonderful facility for our mom! Amazing staff provides great service and caring for our loved one! Always a busy schedule with lots of activities and events. The VOM also has wonderful family invited events that are superb. The variety of freshly prepared food is tasty! Our mom loves it here and we love having her be apart of this community.

This has been the best place for my grandparents! The staff are so caring to them, and are always so welcoming when I visit. I love their Facebook page because they post daily pictures of all the activities and events! It makes me smile every time I get to see pictures of my grandparents taking part in these experiences!

My friend always talks about the caring and friendly staff. She is in all kinds of daily activities which was very important to her. She also says the good is excellent with a wide variety. Highly recommended!
