Mother has been a resident of The Village (memory care) for almost 3 weeks. My sister and I can't be more pleased! The entire staff of The Shores at Clear Lake are some of the most caring and compassionate people I have ever met. From the direct care staff to the administrative level, everyone is professional and takes pride in their work. The residential facility is beautiful and well kept. Mother's room is large and bright. We moved our mother from Florida home to Texas. We moved her from assisted living to memory care., This wasn't an easy decision for us to make. But Mother has adjusted so much better than we ever imagined. And this has so much to do with the loving staff who care for her. I HIGHLY recommend The Shores at Clear Lake if you're looking for a residential placement for your loved one.

I have known Angela for approximately ten years, even before her tenure at the Shores. Angela is well-respected within our community and is known for her caring nature. She is an excellent leader, providing strong guidance to her team at the Shores. As a nurse I have been to countless facilities over the last 20 years and this facility is definitely one of my most favorite ones. First of all, the facility is gorgeous and very spacious. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The residents are always doing activities that the facility organizes for them. They encourage family and friends to join in too. It is right across from NASA and I see deer almost every time I go there along the fence line. Go take a tour, you will be impressed!

The Shores of Clear Lake is a wonderful place for seniors. My mom has been there for two years and I am always impressed with the staff and cleanliness of the facility. The staff is caring, warm and attentive. My mom was recently hospitalized and the is now doing great through their care as they have on site physical therapy, a gym, salon, outdoor areas, fun activities and dedicated therapists who visit regularly. The staff appears happy and is always welcoming. This type of environment is not created by chance and is a result of the leadership by Executive Director Angela and the team. We searched for awhile before selecting the Shores and it has been the right choice. It feels like home for my mom and I am grateful.

Our Mom has been a resident of The Shores at Clear Lake since early 2021. We initially chose The Shores because she would be able to have a private room even when needing memory care. We have been immensely grateful for the care she has received while she has lived at The Shores. We could not be more grateful that they kept her safe and well during the Covid pandemic; truly a very difficult time for elder care facilities. With a change in management at the end of the pandemic came positive improvements; our latest visit found our Mom's room very neat and inviting, fresh and orderly. We've observed how the patient care staff interact with our Mom and with other residents; they are incredibly kind, loving and patient. There are so many wonderful activities planned to keep our Mom engaged. Though she no longer recognizes us, we see her smile and we know she is okay.

The staff work very hard to keep everyone engaged and happy. I have had no issues and whenever I have questions the Director answers me promptly. I did a craft show at this beautiful facility today. Wow, what a beautiful place to live. The environment is absolutely wonderful - I felt like I was in a 5 star luxury hotel! The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. I'm thinking of booking in here for a week

As a frequent visitor I can’t recommend this place highly enough for your loved one. As soon as you walk in you can feel the warmth and everyone is always smiling and happy -that says a lot about the management. The Memory Care is nicely laid out with 2 beautiful courtyards and there are many activities and outings. Assisted Living is big and spacious with a gym a bistro and a salon - like a resort really. Highly recommend

The Shores allowed me to bring a group of 5 year olds from our church to craft and sing with the residents. We had the best time. The facilities are beautiful, the staff and residents were all so happy and cheerful, and we loved our visit. We will be back!

We love the staff at The Shores at Clear Lake. They are so caring and attentive. My mom loves activities they offer and love it best when singers come in to entertain the residence. The facility is nice and new too. Having the option for physical therapy on site is very convenient. I have recommended this place to my friend's family members.

I transferred to The Shores from our sister property Woodhaven Village in Conroe. It has been quite the task but I absolutely love seeing our team come together and have fun with the residents. The love the staff has for the residents is just such a heart warming act to witness! Definitely looking forward to more fun, laughs, love and hugs shared here at The Shores!!!

Before I placed my 95 year old Mom in Assisted Living, I visited 6 facilities in the area. I am so glad I chose The Shores, as my Mom is well cared for here. My Mom loves the food and never misses a meal. I visit my Mom several times a week and I have gotten to know many of the staff. All are friendly and know my Mom's habits and preferences well. Yes, there has been some staff turnover, but there are also staff that have been there for years. The activities staff is outstanding. They provide a full range of activities for the residents every day that include exercise, games, music, crafts, gardening, movies, and religious services. There are also activities that include the families. The new management has introduced many additional services on-site that include: internal medicine, podiatry, X-ray, labs, physical and occupational therapy. When I bring an issue or problem to the management's attention, they address it immediately. The facility itself is beautiful, clean and well-maintained. My Mom is happy and has a group of ladies that she socializes with. In short, The Shores has made my life, as primary caregiver for my Mom, so much easier.

The Shores is a beautiful, new Assisted Living and Memory Care in a quiet location just around the corner from NASA. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and they provide a wide variety of activities such as arts and crafts, sit and be fit, singalongs and movie nights. It is a wonderful place for Seniors to feel safe and well cared for while enjoying three meals a day and lots of opportunities to make friends and socialize. The management and staff truly care about making a difference in people's lives!!

Our mother has only been at The Shores 29 days but we have been extremely pleased with the Leadership Team & Staff that serve and support our mother. They have been attentive to our requests and her needs and we are pleased she has acclimated as quickly as she has. Her room is beautiful, as is the property, and the engagement of the staff seems very high. (A reflection of great leadership!) No property will ever be 100% perfect however, this has been a great experience for us all so far. Thank you, Angela, Marie & Team, for making our mother feel at home at The Shores.

My Mom has a been a resident of The Shores for over 2 years. In May 2021, Grace Management took over and Angela became Executive Director and WOW what a wonderful change! Thanks to Angela and the wonderful staff your loved one is part of the family at The Shores. They provide so many fun activities from gardening to arts and crafts to Happy Hour to Birthday celebrations to Holiday celebrations to field trips to ice cream socials to sing alongs and much more. With all the activities, the yummy food, and the caring staff it sure does bring me peace of mind that my Mom is being well taken care of.

My mom has lived at The Shores since it opened 4 years ago. It was not until the new Director and her team of seasoned professionals arrived that things got really good. The food is much better and tasty with variety, the facility is clean, the activities are fun and varied. Most of all, the care givers and med techs are loving, attentive and genuinely like their work and the residents. the Director and her team are present with doors open. This is a must see facility.

The words compassion and kindness describe the people at The Shores of Clear Lake. When I needed help for a loved one, the director stepped up, no questions asked, and provided me equipment I desperately needed to make him more comfortable. She eased a stressful situation for me and I will always be thankful.

We can not even explain how much we love The Shores. Our 85 year old mom is healthier then she has been in years! She has made some sweet friends. She is very active in all the activities provided! The current management is WONDERFUL! We couldn't ask for better people to care for our mother! We are so happy for our decision 3 years ago.

My 92 year old mum moved in to The Shores earlier this year, initially on a temporary basis At the time she was suffering from delirium after a long spell in hospital. As a result of the kindness, care and attention to my mum's needs she soon recovered, back to her old self. Mum liked being in a resident in The Shores so much she decided to stay there permanently. She is very happy there. As a fussy eater she says that she even likes the food, praise indeed! Mum's every need is well catered for, she gets help when she needs it, but it is recognised that she likes her independence too. The personal care and attention to detail by all the lovely staff is excellent, and any concerns about her health are escalated very quickly. Mum often joins in with the entertainment, which she enjoys. The wonderful staff have also supported me over these last few difficult months. I wholeheartedly and unreservedly recommend The Shores.

Don't let the eye candy convince you this is a great place for your loved ones. There is no solid, dependable leadership. The facility is understaffed, all food is of poor nutritional quality, and there was no follow up by the staff on complaints that went unaddressed. In fact, in the first year in operation (2019) residents formed a council on their own and brought in the state Ombudsman to witness and investigate many issues. The ombudsman requested a meeting with the director, who never showed up. Residents a provided a nice little wristband to push 24/7 for assistance. Well, most always my friend waited for hours - just to get an attendant to help with shower or get to bathroom. The management made many hollow promises that were never kept. We ended up hiring private care on top of the very expensive, unexplained fees they charged.

This is hands down has the most professional staff and clean, safe environment for my folks to move into. It has just opened and Im looking forward for my folks to enjoy this assisted environment.
